Cited by the Financial Times, Atkins said that the SEC “should be there with its ear to the ground to… accommodate activity that’s not criminal and then enable markets to flourish, because if it challenges incumbents and it helps to bring down costs for investors and for people who are trying to raise capital, I mean that’s the reason why we have financial markets.”
Coin Telegraph noted that crypto markets have surged since Trump’s re-election and Gensler’s resignation. Trump campaigned he’d make the U.S. the “crypto capital of the world.”

This selection should come as no real surprise as Trump has made it VERY clear that it is going the crypto route full steam ahead. More specifically, all roads lead to tokenization, something I have thoroughly documented was going to be the case. Like it or not (and you should not like it), that’s the direction it is going.
