A number of people said this was deliberate trolling.
One commentor under WranglerStar’s video, claiming to be a retired Rescue Specialist and certified MRA (Mountain Rescue Association), said this was very intentional.
Another angle of the incident has since circulated on social media.
A growing number of online users believe this hurricane was likely part of a nefarious plot to force the residents off of the destroyed towns so the government and corporations can strip the land of rare natural minerals such as lithium and quartz.
