During the VivaTech 2024 event in Paris, Musk said in a presentation his “biggest fear is AI,” and noted that since AI will be better than people at everything and at best people will be reduced to supporting these mechanisms.

I do think there’s perhaps still a role for humans in this, in that we may give AI meaning,” he explained. He added that the choice to work will be seen “as a hobby.”
Last month Musk warned that “AI will be smarter than any human by the end of 2025.”
Nell Watson, an AI expert, ethicist and author of “Taming the Machine: Ethically harness the power of AI,” predicts that by roughly mid-2025 the AI will have become so powerful that it will create an interlinked hyperintelligent network.
