Mask Mandates And Restrictions Increase But Face Stark Resistance Across The United States. Fauci Admits Masks Don’t Work

Since the latest updates more places have reinstated their mask mandates. Political and sports commentator Clay Travis tweeted about an elementary school in the Washington D.C. area in Maryland, have mandated masks for third-graders and above, providing KN95 masks for staff and students, because of a handful of purported cases.

Meanwhile government buildings in Dallas County, Alabama, will now also be requiring masks again, according to Newsweek.

At this point in time it is only being taken effect in the government buildings that the public come into. And that will be the three buildings that we have. The courthouse, the annex and the administrative building.

Newsweek also noted a handful of other schools in Alabama doing the same, including Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Also in recent days First Lady Dr. Jill Biden reportedly has contracted Covid-19 and will be wearing a facemask for the time being, which subsequently means that President Joe Biden will also be wearing a face mask at times. But it did not take no more than 30 minutes for the President to forget his own self-imposed mandate, and was seen touching others after being near his wife.

But a number of Americans are not having it. Interestingly enough, networks like CNN, which have been staunchly in favor of Covid-related health protocols like masking, up-to-date-vaccination, quarantining etc. – are now actually pushing back against their old adages.

Recently Dr. Anothony Fauci has returned to the limelight, warning about this latest touted wave of Covid infections and a return to old protocols. However, Fauci has now admitted the masking-wearing is totally ineffective.

In an interview with CNN, host Michael Smerconish, with a laser-eyed focus, cited a study that demonstrates mask-wearing does next to nothing to stop the transmission or prevention of catching Covid. The host said, “There is a perception out there by many, how many, I don’t know, that they don’t work and that the data concludes that they didn’t work in the first go round. Respond to that on masks.”

Fauci then claimed:

Yes, well, that’s not so. I mean, when you’re talking about at the population level, that the data are less strong than knowing that if you look on a situation as an individual protecting themselves or protecting them from spreading it there is no doubt that masks work.

Different studies give different percentages of advantage of wearing it. But there’s no doubt that the weight of the studies, and there have been many studies indicate the benefit of wearing masks.

But Smerconish did not concede and cited an authoritative study that demonstrated that the masks are ineffective. Reading from the piece put on screen he said, “‘The most rigorous and comprehensive analysis of scientific studies conducted on the efficacy of masks for reducing the spread of respiratory illness, including COVID-19, was published last month, its conclusions, said Tom Jefferson, the Oxford epidemiologist who is the lead author, were unambiguous.’”

‘“There is just no evidence that they masks make any difference. Full stop,” the piece added read by the CNN host. Fauci then responded with this:

Yes, but there are other studies, Michael, that show at an individual level for individual when you’re talking about the effect on the epidemic or the pandemic as a whole, the data are less strong.

But when you talk about as an individual basis of someone protecting themselves or protecting themselves from spreading it to others, there’s no doubt that there are many studies that show that there is an advantage.

When you took it the broad population level like the Cochrane study, the data are less firm with regard to the effect on the overall pandemic.

But we’re not talking about that, we’re talking about an individual’s effect on their own safety. That’s a bit different than the broad population level.

Fauci has since been panned and caught behind the crosshairs by mainstream and alternative media and pundits across the board since making these comments.

But this admission by Fauci is part of much broader push by the mainstream and media, and mostly right-leaning and Republican politicians to openly clap back against the thought of mandates, masking, lockdowns, and so forth.

Newsweek provided a list of the states and cities thus far that have actually stated or put into place countermeasures to curb Covid-related mandates.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott effectively led the charge and signed legislation that bars any government agencies from enforcing mask mandates in the state.

Working with the Texas Legislature, Governor Abbott signed a law this year codifying his executive orders from 2021, prohibiting any government entity from establishing mask or vaccine mandates and from closing businesses or schools due to COVID.

Thanks to Governor Abbott and the hard work of the Texas Legislature, Texas has closed the door on COVID restrictions.

A spokesperson for Abbott told Newsweek in a statement

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders vowed that und her watch lockdowns will not return.

As long as I’m governor, Arkansas will never lock down. We will never make you or your children wear a mask. And we will never, ever have a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

She said in an X post

Governor Tate Reeves decreed: “Mississippians will not and should not submit to fear again…. We will not return to widespread masking or COVID rules.”

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt said the stated “didn’t do mandates or lockdowns in 2020 and we aren’t starting now. Oklahoma will choose freedom over fear every day of the week.”

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster stated: “I can assure the people of South Carolina that we are not going to have mandates requiring masks, we’re not going to close down schools, we’re not going to do a lot of the foolish things that were done in other states. We will not have mask mandates.”

Utah Governor Spencer Cox and the Utah Department of Health and Human Services also said on social media:

While we anticipate an increase in COVID-19 during the upcoming respiratory virus season, @utahdhhs has no plans—now or in the future—to enact a mask mandate in Utah.

Even a Southern California town is also looking to ban masking. “The city should ban broad universal mask and vaccine mandates by declaring the city to be a ‘no mask, no vaccine mandate city,'” Mayor Pro Tem Gracey Van Der Mark, said a City Council meeting earlier this week.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the state Surgeon General have openly pushed back against the thought of lockdowns and enforcing the latest Covid vaccine. “People are lurching toward this insanity again. As we see these things being orchestrated … there needs to be pushback,” the Governor said, reported by the Associated Press.

Moreover, a slew of outlets are reporting a general pushback and a metaphorical ‘call to arms’ and resistance to this last Covid narrative push, which you can read below for more details:

Moreover, Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, actually backtracked on their recently implemented mask mandate when faced with heavy backlash.

You know this is total propaganda (as it always was), but unequivocally so when CNN – the Coronazis themselves – are finally admitting that masks don’t do jack (again, something we all knew since day one), then you know it is total nonsense and lies.

Again, we will see what happens, but seeing how the media from all sides is handling this, this to me looks like the media machine is looking to collect data on American’s reaction to this latest wave of propaganda, as I have indicated before. Therefore, they need to stir people to see if they resist and backbite more so unlike all the previous times, and see just how many people comply.
