Requests For Exorcisms Reportedly On The Rise Since Lockdowns

According to Mike Signorelli, the senior pastor of V1 Church in New York City, and leader of a “deliverance” ministry – a spinoff of Pentecostal and Apostolic denominations, that believe a Christian can harness the same sign gifts performed by Jesus and the apostles, but with a focus on claiming to cast out devils from someone – claims that calls for deliverances, and exorcisms amongst Roman Catholicism, have rapidly increased to the point where their networks are being overwhelmed.

First reported by CBN’s FaithWire, Billy Hallowell details Signorelli’s claims (excerpts):

While some might express skepticism over possession in the modern era, faith leaders and individuals who deal with the issue in practice report stunning increases in those seeking healing and help.

Signorelli noted the well-publicized fact the Catholic Church is inundated with requests for exorcism. The problem is so sweeping that he said Catholic leaders are “reporting a system failure within Catholicism right now,” as they simply can’t keep up with the demand.

Signorelli, who disagrees with Catholic exorcism and discourages people from seeking it, said the increased need is notable; it’s something he’s seen in his own deliverance ministry, as culture increasingly dabbles in the occult.

New Age practices are becoming a normal phenomenon. Even secular companies are provoking people to step into the spiritual realm or to believe in the supernatural in a way that, it’s like we’re moving past atheism.

Signorelli said

Signorelli pointed to the mainstreaming of burning sage to drive out evil and the obsessive reading of Horoscopes, among other actions — things he believes are spiritually dangerous and can breed evil.

Corroborating with Signorelli’s perspective, two months ago to date, The Archdiocese of Manila in the Philippines began building Asia’s first “exorcism center.” It will be called The Saint Michael Center for Spiritual Liberation and Exorcism.

‘The center will house the Manila archdiocese’s Commission on Extraordinary Phenomena, the Ministry of Exorcism and the Ministry on Visions and Phenomena. It will also serve as the headquarters of the Philippine Association of Catholic Exorcists,’ the Phil Star Global wrote.

This center will minister to those in bondage to the devil who are therefore the poorest of the poor and are usually overlooked.

Reverend Father Francisco Syquia, director of the Archdiocese of Manila’s exorcism office, said

We are grateful to you our benefactors who have until this point supported the Saint Michael Center.  We hope for your continued prayers, sacrifices, skills and monetary donations. Our work of constructing the center is just beginning.

The archdiocese’s Facebook post said

But is this explosion in spiritual activity misplaced? Holly from Zoon Politikon, who cited these aforementioned sources, said that while she was raised Catholic, admitted she is not an expert in the fields spirituality and religion, but believes that a lot of this has to do with this explosion in lasciviousness and intemperance in people. Moreover, she alludes to the idea that with more people being locked inside their homes, coupled with new generational tech, the higher levels EMF exposure and radiation may be having a greater effect on people than they realize. Also, she points to the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines adversely affecting people’s minds and clouding their judgment, claiming to know people who started to see more obtuse visions of things.

[…] People have become so saturated in all of [these toxic and perverse relationships and lifestyles], and try to just have no limits basically within this culture, and we’re seeing that more and more as we descend into madness.

And so people are realizing that there is something fundamentally wrong with our society.

I’ll tell you what’s fundamentally wrong with our society: they kicked out Jesus Christ’s word a longtime ago, and now we have an insane asylum run by the inmates (for to call it a jungle would almost be an insult to the animals), comparable to that of the book of Judges, where, “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25).

[4] Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return? [5] Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return. Before I give my view on what is going on, I first need to address this deliverance ministry nonsense. They should be called impartation schemes, because they are PUTTING devils into these people. If you do not understand what a deliverance ministry is, it gleans from Pentecostal and Apostolic teachings that believe we can have the same sign gifts the apostles performed for today, which is simply not true (which the lockdowns and shutdown of their church buildings exemplified such).

But they teach conditional security of a believer, meaning they can lose their salvation if they start sinning too much and/or too grievously, and can have devils come into them. Many times, instead of attributing their problems in their lives to the sins they commit – “Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices” (Proverbs 1:31) – they will blame them on a devil spirit. I have heard these loons shouting that they need to cast out “the lust demon,” a “Jezebel spirit,” and every single sin you can think of has a “demon” attached to it. Therefore, they believe someone must be “delivered,” and very possibly get rebaptized a dozen times over to exercise someone. This can be seen in a list Signorelli compiled for a sermon titled, “10 Signs You Have A Demon (Do You Have Any Of These?!):”

• An irrational, uncontrollable aversion to the things of God.
• The ability to speak languages completely unknown to the victim.
• A knowledge of things unknown to the victim.
• The Person Will Already Know They Have Demons on the Inside of Them
• Basic Demonic Manifestations
• Intrusive Thoughts
• Uncontrollable Behaviors
• Unexplainable Illness
• Unexplained Paranormal Activity
• You’ve tried Christian disciplines and still struggle with repeated sin

Well, I guess I, my faithful readers, and the apostle Paul have demons in us, and we need this Nutter Butter to exercise us!

[8] But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. [9] For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. [17] Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [18] For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. [19] For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. [20] Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. [21] I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

Needless to say, avoid deliverance doofs

Now with that being said, what are my thoughts on this uptick of exorcisms and reported attacks from devils? Bearing in mind what Holly said earlier, I think it is both. As I said, these deliverance doofs very commonly attribute the results of sin as some kind of devil spirit, so Holly does have a point that a lot of this is just people dealing with their lasciviousness coming back to “haunt” them, sort of speak (ie. drugs and pharmaceuticals, booze, horrible health, video games, EMF radiation); including the Covid death shot, which I have previously noted has royally messed up people’s minds, by searing their consciences.

That being said, I do firmly believe that there is a drastic uptick in devil possession and oppression. If you read my report “Are You Awake? Are You Ready For What’s Coming? Do You Loathe The Honeycomb??,” then you know I covered scriptures that prove God is putting evil spirits into people today, and blinding people even further.

But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

1 Samuel 16:14

Moreover, people have become immensely idolatrous and superstitious, and the King James Bible makes clear in both testaments that people who put up and worship idols are actually doing it to devils.

[36] And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. [37] Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, [38] And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. [39] Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

[19] What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? [20] But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. [21] Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

[20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: [21] Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

In short, deliverances and exorcisms performed by Catholics are fake and only perpetuate any actual possession by devils; and both iniquity and devil possession is clearly on the rise.
