Nokia And LG Team Up To Advance 6G Technology

6G is the next generational tech already slated to arrive by 2030. 6G would allow seemingly everything to be interconnected at once, include you.

The WinePress reported last month that Nokia CEO Pekka Lundmark said at this year’s World Economic Forum meeting at Davos, that smartphones will ultimately be phased out and integrated with mankind.

Nokia CEO Says 6G Will Render Smartphones Obsolete By 2030 And Will Be Integrated Into Your Body Instead

According to a release from Total Telecom, Nokia and LG U+ are now combining their research and development for the advancement of this future.

The technological collaboration between the two companies in 4G and 5G network technologies will be enhanced in 5G Advanced and 6G. We are expecting that the collaboration will help test and develop future wireless network technology, and would eventually speed up the commercialisation of the service.

Said Ahn Tae-ho, head of Nokia Korea

The two companies will work on Open RAN (radio access network) solutions, including ‘energy generation technologies that will be used to power wireless sensors.’

‘Another area of interest more directly related to 6G is reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), a technology currently in development that would allow for programmable structures that can change the electric and magnetic properties of their surface at will, thereby dynamically controlling the propagation of electromagnetic waves throughout an environment. Essentially, these surfaces can act as an intelligent mirror, helping to redirect the required radio waves to their intended target,’ Total Telecom wrote.

‘RIS is expected to become a standard technology for 6G and, as a result, LG U+ has already been working on the technology for some time, first demonstrating it in action in March this year with Nokia’s help.’

In order to achieve the level of service quality that can satisfy the clients, it is necessary to upgrade the 5G network while thoroughly preparing for 6G networks as well.

Said Kwon Jun-hyuk, head of LG U+’s network unit

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

As I have said many times over, in these coming smart cities, every last little thing will be tracked and monitored, and literally tied down to the grid and AI systems. It puts the mark of the beast into a new perspective that most people fail to realize.

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Revelation 13:16-18

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
