The other day I was on YouTube scrolling on my phone, and I got this ad from Match.com. Match is a dating website. There is a saying that “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Take a look at the thumbnail for this ad.
The title is “Goodbye 2020. Hello 2021. Make 2021 Your Year.”
The picture features the popular depiction of Satan wrapping his around some harlot off the internet, with a dumpster fire in the background.
[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.2 Corinthians 4:3-4
These wicked people that put together this advertisement are simply blinded by the devil. But this is also symbolic of where things are headed, and have been heading.
[1] This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. [2] For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, [3] Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, [4] Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; [5] Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.2 Timothy 3:1-5, 13
Of course these godless fools are so ignorant of what the Bible teaches, that they wouldn’t know that Satan does not look like this. This Hollywood depiction of Satan are combined elements of Satan taken from the Bible, but is not who he is. The Bible teaches that Satan is a cherub that used to surround the throne of God’s glory (Eze 28:11-19). Cherubim are four-headed creatures that have the head of a man, lion, eagle, and ox. This is where the ox-horned-headed depiction of Satan is derived from. Satan is also referred to as a red dragon in the book of Revelation, which is where the red color and pointy tail come from. However, when he manifests himself, he does it like this:
[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.2 Corinthians 11:14
I am reporting this because it is symbolic of where things are at, and where they are continually heading. While many right now are partying in their homes and saying “good riddance 2020,” 2021, unfortunately will not be any better and a whole lot worse for many millions more in America alone, not including the other nations that are in freefall as well.
[8] Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: [9] That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: [10] Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: [11] Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. [12] Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: [13] Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. [14] And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. Isaiah 30:8-14
However, let us as Bible believers use this to further contend for the faith: to be a witness for those that are on the precipice of wanting that new life in Jesus Christ.
[14] Do all things without murmurings and disputings: [15] That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; [16] Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. [17] Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. [18] For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me. Philippians 2:14-18

Well, to be fair, that Satan manifests himself as an angel of light to deceive, it doesn’t mean he is. I’d say the red dragon description from Revelation with that of the cherubim is what he really looks like beneath his make-up, so they are not that far off representing him like that. The main face of a cherub is that of an ox, too.
I recommend 33rdbook’s youtube video on cherubim for a more detailed Scripture study on that. Even so, yes, that ad is highly inappropriate and shows the extent of the masses’ brainwashing.
