Anthony Fauci is now saying it is okay for parents to allow their children to participate in Halloween festivities this year, stating transmission of Covid is low-risk and because it is mostly outdoors (trick-or-treating).
Particularly if you’re vaccinated, but you can get out there. You’re outdoors for the most part — at least when my children were out there doing trick-or-treating — and enjoy it.
This is a time that children love. It’s a very important part of the year for children. I know my children enjoyed it.
If you’re not vaccinated — again, think about it, that you’ll add an extra degree of protection to yourself and your children and your family and your community. So it’s a good time to reflect on why it’s important to get vaccinated.
But go out there and enjoy Halloween, as well as the other holidays that will be coming up.

Fauci also showed some optimism declining cases and deaths, but raised the possibility that Covid-19 is becoming more endemic – like an annual influenza bug – but still says that the many Americans who are not vaccinated could stifle this progress.
It is certainly going in the right direction. That’s the good news. And hopefully it’s going to continue to go in that trajectory downward. But we have to just be careful that we don’t prematurely declare victory in many respects.
Fauci’s current stance was different than last year’s, where he essentially told Americans not to celebrate the different holidays throughout the Autumn and Winter months. A lot of people ignored him. Moreover, it was not long ago that Fauci told Americans that he was not sure if the masses could meet with their families again for the Christmas season, but then changed his position after some pushback and said he was taken out of context and misrepresented.

I smell a “trick” here. This is Fauci after all: he changes his stances more than he changes his own underwear. Per usual, let’s not be shocked if “the science evolves” again, or he and the CDC flip-flop after Halloween due to a “sudden rise in cases” – for a “virus” that has yet to have been isolated… and that all “cases” are 99.5% are ‘mild’ anyways…

That passage fits Fauci to a ‘T.’
And by the way, lest anyone try to lecture me and try to wax righteous in the comment section about the paganism and Satanism surrounding Halloween: I know. I absolutely do not endorse it.
