In a statement Wednesday, FRC announced that Barna, who founded the influential evangelical polling organization Barna Group, joined the organization as a senior fellow of their newly launched Center for Biblical Worldview.
FRC President Tony Perkins said that the center is “designed to give Christians a firm foundation so that they can engage the culture by being rooted in God’s Word.”
Every Christian can and should obtain a biblical worldview — which is only achieved when a person believes that the Bible is true, authoritative, and then taught how it is applicable to every area of life, which enables them to live out those beliefs.

As part of the center’s launch, FRC released research conducted by Barna’s Metaformation research group. Some of the new report includes questions and data compiled for the American Worldview Inventory produced by the Barna-led Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University.
The data found, among other things, that while 51% of American adults said they have a “biblical worldview,” only 6% of American adults actually hold this worldview.
Barna drew the conclusion of inconsistency among the 51% reporting a biblical worldview by noting that many of the questions to determine worldview found this group technically outside of what the pollster defined as a “biblical worldview.”
For example, of the 51%, 49% said that reincarnation was a possibility after they die. Meanwhile, only 33% said they believed that “human beings are born with a sinful nature and can only be saved from the consequences of sin by Jesus Christ.”
Data for the research came from a May survey featuring a nationally representative sample of 1,000 adults, with a sampling error of about plus or minus 3.2 percentage points.
Christians have a duty to stand against the prevailing cultural tides and proclaim God’s truth to a dark and wandering world. But before you stand, you need solid ground.

The data comes as similar results have been found by other surveys in recent years. Last September, the Cultural Research Center revealed survey data compiled in January 2020 that showed that 2% of millenials [millennials] hold a biblical worldview even though 61% identify as [a] Christian.
In 2017, a survey from the American Culture and Faith Institute found that about 10% of Americans hold a distinctly biblical worldview even though 46% claimed to lead a Christian life.
In addition to Barna serving as a senior fellow, FRC’s new Center for Biblical Worldview will be headed by David Closson, author of FRC’s “Biblical Worldview Series” who has written pieces for publications including National Review and The Gospel Coalition. Owen Strachen, the provost and research professor of theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary in Arkansas, also joined the center as a senior fellow.
I am excited to work more closely with FRC to apply the research findings in ways that help to transform individuals’ lives and American culture. Given FRC’s track record of making a difference in our society based upon its unwavering commitment to biblical principles, I look forward to an effective and fruitful partnership using research to guide our efforts.

[2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. [3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4]And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. [5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.2 Timothy 4:2-5
There are a few points I need to make:
Firstly, I need to point out that many of these institutes and universities are just as heretical and worldly. So as far as I am concerned, these very same organizations are part of the problem.
Which leads me to the other important point, and that is, the question and definition of this so-called “biblical worldview” is built on sand. Their definition of their ideal biblical worldview is practically what every “ordinary” church building describes in their statement of faith. But their data shows that many of these professing Christians who attend these buildings and profess these beliefs do not actually follow through with it.
So what are some of the reasons for this? Their “biblical worldview” is making “THE Bible” center of their life and practice. Well, therein lies the issue: WHICH ONE?! This is one of the many reasons why I say these organizations are just as heretical and are part of the problem. These hypocrites all over America, and the world, talk about THE Bible, but to them, that means at least one of hundreds of self-contradicting translations that also contradict each other, and that have been proven to take radically lighter stands on sin, judgment, hell, salvation, prophecy, etc., and contradicting each other while the “Christians” using them pontificate that they all say the same thing.
Then because of that, that becomes the catalyst for all sorts of issues. Now you have people that are fully aware that the Bible that they hold in their hands contains errors and mistakes in there, and it continually has to be rewritten to adjust to the current trends of the day. Therefore, it should surprise absolutely nobody when very few actually take anything serious from their preferred translation, except THEIR favorite verses they CHOOSE to accept.
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 17:17
-Not when you have multiple contradicting Bibles. Truth becomes RELATIVE and no longer definitive.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

When you start to take radically lighter stands on sin, it again should surprise no one that worldly pleasures take preeminence over truth and righteousness.
And it simply comes down to this, factoring in just some of those core truths I mentioned: these people are NOT saved and born-again.
[17] This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, [18] Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: [19] Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. [20] But ye have not so learned Christ; [21] If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: [22] That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; [23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; [24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. [25] Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. [26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: [27] Neither give place to the devil. [28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. And there are plenty more scriptures I could give that are identical to that one, but this one gets the point across very well. These people do not have the Spirit of Christ in them to lead them to the truth and convict them of sin: it is that simple (John 16:7-14).
All-in-all, this study reaffirms the mass exodus from the church buildings and the subsequent reasons for it, and only expect it to get much more pronounced. By the time the satanic trinity arrives on the scene the world will thoroughly and wholly have rejected the real Jesus Christ.
