Information has leaked that tech giant Google is trialing a new artificial intelligence tool, internally codenamed “Genesis,” that can generate news articles based on current events, and has been pitched to large outlets such as the The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal’s parent company News Corp.

The New York Times broke the story on this project, revealing that this AI software can absorb current events and news, and then produce news articlea, according to those familiar with the project that is still incognito. One of the several individuals familiar with this says the program is meant to be an aid for journalists, automating some tasks and thus freeing up some time for the writers, and can be used as a more reliable tool compared to the broadstroke and unreliable generative AI.

‘Some executives who saw Google’s pitch described it as unsettling, asking not to be identified discussing a confidential matter. Two people said it seemed to take for granted the effort that went into producing accurate and artful news stories,’ The NYT.

If this technology can deliver factual information reliably, journalists should use the tool.

If, on the other hand, it is misused by journalists and news organizations on topics that require nuance and cultural understanding, then it could damage the credibility not only of the tool but of the news organizations that use it.

Mr. Jarvis, director of the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York, said

The Post and Times did not respond for comments, neither did Google, but a News Corp spokesman said in a statement, referring to Google’s chief executive, that, “We have an excellent relationship with Google, and we appreciate Sundar Pichai’s long-term commitment to journalism.”

SEE: WordPress Adds AI Assistant To Help Authors Write Blog Posts

The WinePress has noted that many news agencies are beginning to increasingly use AI to write their posts, or have indicated that they may start to integrate at the verst least. The Associated Press has been using AI to help write their posts for many years, unbeknownst to many.

After that article was written, longstanding German paper Bild announced that they will be using replacing their editing staff with AI, as the publication transitions away from paper format to almost completely digital.

Earlier this year Google launched a new campaign called “prebunking” in Europe, a tactic explicitly used to plant ideas and beliefs in people’s minds, so when they encounter something the media deems as “dis- and misinformation” they will already be programmed to deny contrary fact.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

If you thought you were being propagandized before by the fakestream media, then buckle-up because it will truly be fake in the most literal sense of the word in another year or two in its entirety.

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

Psalm 101:7

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • The codename alone is a giant jab at Bible-Believing Christians! what could go wrong with that?

    • Yes, and just in case, don’t let Wallbuilders deceive you. Masonic to the core & liars revising doctrine & history for Rome and her half a hundred+ pervert bibles. Praying the Lord we don’t have to wait until there are 400 of those things! The word of the Lord was with the prophets in the Old Testament, came through the Apostles in the New, until the word was complete & perfect….and Jezebel had hers, too. 400 of them.

Elijah slew them at the brook Kidron. But it’s shocking as you read to find that they were soon replaced with 400 more. (I believe one of those is 440 –know what part of my own Bible study will be today!)

That second bunch was slain by the armies of the Assyrrians in the judgment of Israel, & the Northern Kingdom fell. Makes me think of Samson who in his death killed the Philistines, removing the two supporting pillars so that the ‘gods’ in the upper galleries fell down.

And the order is as the two witnesses, Moses & Elijah, and then Armageddon. Revelation 11&19 KJB.

  • Another thing. I got very troubled with Answers in Genesis when materials from there changed format to ‘storytelling’. There’s Craft there. They’re talking about the linguistics & archaeology…but it’s all couched in a sort of ‘quest’ story aimed at children. It’s more & more apparent, so, head’s up with that stuff.

Between that and J. Randall Price with his new cave & text explorations, in connection w/ Falwell’s folly over there in VA, talking about the excitement & “finding something that could ‘change’ everything”! And all the other… Watch and pray!
