The Times of India confirmed this, reporting that the Dalai Lama ‘has been caught on video, kissing a young boy on the lips at the Buddhist event and telling him to “suck my tongue.”‘
The video caused an uproar on social media.
The Times of India wrote, ‘However, his followers and sympathizers [say] the elderly Buddhist monk was “joking around” wit the boy. However, victims of child sexual abuse argue that being sexualized by a powerful adult is [a] serious matter.’
UPDATE – Dalia Lama Apologizes
Due to the backlash he has received online, the Dalia Lama’s office issued a short statement trying to rectify things. His administration wrote:
A video clip has been circulating that shows a recent meeting when a young boy asked His Holiness the Dalai Lama if he could give him a hug. His Holiness wishes to apologize to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.
His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident.
But some are still not buying it. The Delhi-based Haq: Centre for Child Rights told CNN that they condemn “all forms of child abuse.”
Some news refers to Tibetan culture about showing tongue, but this video is certainly not about any cultural expression and even if it is, such cultural expressions are not acceptable.

When you get right down to it, the inner working and machinations of these religions and cults always end up in and with perversion of some sort. In the end, Baal worship always seem to reign supreme, and the sexualization, trafficking, and sacrifice of children always seem to be at the forefront. God is a God of life, and Satan is a god who loves death and influences his children to commit abominable sacrifices.
