On December 18th Russian President Vladimir Putin made a short speech via video to the Russian Movement of Children and Youth, where he explained that the changes happening in Russia and the world are for “the better.”
Putin was placed in charge of this new movement in July of this year. The Russian Movement of Children and Youth is a group tailored to ‘implement state policy for the sake of children and young people, facilitate the moral education of children, provide vocational guidance to them, organize leisure activities and create conditions for their full development and self-realization,’ Russian news media Tass explained.
‘The movement will bring together children starting from the age of six, while adult mentors will see to their moral education and organize their leisure activities,’ Tass added.
The group was originally founded on May 19th, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Soviet Union’s Young Pioneers organization, five years after the October Revolution of 1917. This group’s is designed to help launch the “Bolshaya Peremena” (The Great Change).
All of us have childhood pioneer memories full of romance and joy. The new movement will somehow use the practices [of the pioneer organization], first and foremost, the traditions of mentorship.

Yesterday the group voted to change the name of their group in a majority vote. They now wish to be referred to as “The First.” The children were initially supposed to choose the name, but delegates intervened and suggested the name themselves, with only a handful few voting against the name change.
Children as young as 6-years-old are apart of this movement who participate in a myriad of activities.
The First has published a smattering of promotional videos on RuTube, the Russian equivalent to YouTube.
A week ago the group published a music video and flash mob of “Activists of children and youth movements of Russia recorded a clip and launched a flash mob for the Day of National Unity,” the description read (translated to English).

The movement instructs children with all kinds of skills. For example one such clip depicts the children learning how to be chefs.
Another video showcased two teenage girls working out and stretching together. “Being active and leading a healthy lifestyle – is great! Better yet, if you are paired with someone. […] there is a spirit of rivalry, so each exercise is done as efficiently as possible and with maximum efficiency,” the description read.
Moreover, military-style training is also taught. Kids can be seen performing marches and drills, using weaponry, and llearning other forms of combat training.
Putin’s Address
On the 18th Putin addressed the youth movement in a short speech. Here is what the Russian President said, according to the official transcript from the Russian Kremlin:
Dear friends! I am glad to welcome all the participants of the first congress of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth.
Bright, creative, active guys from all over the country have gathered here, in Moscow, including – I would like to emphasize this – from our new regions. And now you all together decide what your movement should be like, what needs to be done to make it truly interesting, attractive to your peers, determine its name, program.
The very idea of the emergence of the movement – and its authors, let me remind you, were you yourself, children, teenagers – is less than a year old. And it’s great that you manage to implement this idea, which is necessary both for you and for the whole country, so quickly, smoothly, practically from scratch. I want to wish you to continue dreaming, creating, offering your own projects, not imitating anyone, but inventing and creating your own, if necessary – boldly defending your case, but at the same time be able to listen to objections, appreciate constructive criticism and advice.
I emphasize again: the movement both now and in the future should be built around what you need and are interested in yourself, around your interests and hobbies. This is its fundamental meaning: to be available throughout the country – both in big cities and in small towns – with a modern space where all the possibilities for self-realization of every child, teenager, young person are combined. Where people who have achieved success in their professional fields are ready to share their experience and knowledge with you, and where you can always count on the support of mentors.
You are very different, but you, like all future participants in the movement, are united by the desire for your own development, to step by step conquer the planned peaks in studies, sports, any other activity, inspire and inspire others with your achievements, by example.
And of course, you are united by the desire already now, at a very young, young age, to contribute to the development of the country, to do what benefits our state and people.
Such sincere, active patriotism also distinguishes and, I believe, will distinguish all participants in the Russian Movement of Children and Youth.
You probably know that big changes are taking place today not only in Russia, the whole world is changing. I believe that these are changes for the better. And I hope that with our deeds, deeds, our determination and at the same time the openness of our intentions, plans, principles, we will be able to make the world more just – one where all peoples are truly equal, where everyone has the right to respect, to follow their traditions, speak their native language, honor their ancestors, and where everyone has the opportunity for maximum self-realization, regardless of the conditions in which a person grew up, what family he comes from.
Once again, I congratulate you on an important, significant event – both in your life and in the life of the country. Victory and success to you – along with the new movement!

Indeed the world is changing, though depending on who you ask the world may or may not be getting better. For Russia it is perhaps getting better. After all, the wicked West is imminently destined for a total collapse, leaving Russia, China, and the East to takeover the new power structure and dominance. It also interesting that this national youth movement is heralded as “The Great Change.” You mean like “The Great Reset?” – which is something Putin is very much apart of.

Frankyl took that observation & Darwin’s evolutionary lie of survival of the fittest, & made a whole psychological system & ‘hierarchy of need’ from it, by which they practiced the pseudo-science of psychology after the war. That’s what I fled from when the Lord was convicting me of sin, yet offering that hope of salvation if I’d just believe to receive it. First as a ‘subject’ to be ‘mentored’ by the masters & counselors, & then they wanted me to become one of them, to become ‘educated’ in their system that I didn’t fully understand at the time….but DID know was a lie, & did not work. That whole educator, mentor, counselor, manager ‘educated’ crowd was full of the most bitter, wicked, in bondage & mal-adjusted people I’d ever known!

As a woman, I really wasn’t cut out for, or with an aptitude from driving truck, but it was way more honest than that. And back in the mid-to late ’90’s, there were still a lot of Christians out there. Men shoved out by all the ‘new’ rules & wisdom, the ‘self-realized’ sinners in the folly & bondage that Jeremiah 17 speaks to, men refusing to conform, keeping their families apart & protected in little hamlets & by ways while they went out to earn a living, witnessing for Christ as they went.
