“The Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity Project will enable reliable and efficient access to services not only in the public sector but also in the private sector, including banks, hospitals, insurance, and other services. Thus, the project’s goal is to provide a digital identity card to all eligible individuals within a year and a half.”

Sri Lanka is looking to accelerate its implementation of a national digital ID system via equipment and systems from India with Indian money.

Government ministers from the country met with the Indian High Commissioner on December 9th to discuss the procurement for the Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity Project (SL-UDI), under the banner of The Indo-Sri Lanka Joint Project Monitoring Committee (JPMC).

Sri Lankan-based publication Daily FT reported: ‘The Indian Government has agreed to contribute 3 billion Indian rupees to this cause. As a result, major automated biometric systems and other software systems will be installed with the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka’s full supervision and consultation (ICTA).’

In affinity with the Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity Project, the Department of Registration of Persons will now be taking a fresh look at the new Digital National Identity Card and how it will be implemented, along with the technology that will also need to be integrated along with it.

The committee further explained why they are looking to implement a digital ID:

The National Policy Framework (NPF) Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour is aimed at achieving a fourfold outcome of a productive citizenry, a contented family, a disciplined and just society and a prosperous nation.

A Technology Based Society (Smart Nation) is one of the 10 key goals of the NPF. In that, setting up a Citizen Centric Digital Government and digitally empowered economy have been identified as a strategy to achieve the government vision.

Governments worldwide are adopting the strategy of having a Unique Digital Identity (UDI) Framework and Architecture to empower citizens within a Digital Economy and Society.

It is envisioned that it could enable dramatic leaps in service quality and massive efficiency gains for governments, as well as drive financial and social inclusion to a maximum extent by providing citizens access to citizen services and benefits of healthcare, education, and other government programs.

This new digital ID will be instigated upon everyone ages 15 and up, and the ID will include facial, iris, and fingerprint scans; stored in a new centralized system dubbed as the National Register of Citizens.

Because of this new ID, the Sri Lankan state media says: ‘Data modification, unauthorized access, and identity theft are no longer possible after enrolling in the Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity System. This will also aid in the prevention of unauthorized use and cybercrime.’

Furthermore, this national ID will be required to gain access to most places and venues in the country:

The Sri Lanka Unique Digital Identity Project will enable reliable and efficient access to services not only in the public sector but also in the private sector, including banks, hospitals, insurance, and other services. Thus, the project’s goal is to provide a digital identity card to all eligible individuals within a year and a half.

Moreover, the committee wrote in their official document:

The proposed solution should integrate with multiple payment gateways and bank wallets proposed by the [Information and Communication Technology Act No. 27 of 2003] (ICTA) to facilitate online payments.

Once the necessary technology has been installed, the required data collection will not begin until sometime in 2024. In the meantime the Indo-Sri Lanka Joint Project Monitoring Committee will retroactively monitoring the scheme’s overall progress.

The WinePress reported in late-July, after Sri Lanka collapsed and current regime was overthrown, a ‘national fuel pass’ was implemented for residents to purchase fuel and some other basic necessities, via a QR code on citizen’s smart phones.

[The Lord] increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.

Job 12:23

Sri Lanka is a case study of what is going to happen with so many other nations in the next several years or sooner. Sri Lanka went headlong in trying to rapidly implement a lot of the United Nations Sustainability Goals and the garbage the World Economic Forum pontificates, and it is what ultimately tore down the nation.

In 2016 the current President, Ranil Wickremesinghe, wrote a post for the WEF and said this:

I see Sri Lanka’s economic future as a services hub; a niche manufacturing destination to produce goods which plug into regional and global value chains, particularly light engineering; and a location for high-value agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables and dairy, both to service the rapidly growing tourism sector and for exports, especially, to the Middle Eastern and Indian markets.

Sri Lanka’s cultural traditions are such that respect for the environment is embedded in the psyche of our people. This creates a groundswell of public opinion in favour of sustainable development. In the wake of the Paris Climate Conference, I would like to point out that Sri Lanka is committed to achieving 20% renewable energy usage by 2030, over and above the current 35% of hydropower. Environmental sustainability is central to the country’s development plans. At the same time, Sri Lanka is ready to be a constructive partner in global climate negotiations.

The upcoming World Economic Forum 2016 in Davos in late January affords me the opportunity to showcase these landmark changes in Sri Lanka. Our message to all, is that in an international environment that is insecure and volatile, Sri Lanka has peace, has consolidated democracy and revived the economy. It now stands ready for takeoff and to play its full role as a responsible member of the global community of nations.

As I said, Sri Lanka is a shining example as to what these climate agendas are meant to do: destabilize and destroy the nations from the inside-out. In order to “Build Back Better,” as they say, they must first destroy the current framework to implement the REAL changes they want. Now we are seeing what those changes are.

Now that Sri Lanka has collapsed and is in utter turmoil, their “solution” is being rolled-out: a digital ID that everyone will need to bank and go most places. This is what is going to happen around the world. Once the central banks finally allow the economies to collapse by pulling the rug out from under an unsuspecting and comatose population, they will wait for the outcry, and then push their digital IDs, CBDCs, food IDs, vaccine passports, and social credit scores.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Great article for pointing out Sri Lanka as an example. But as far as expecting the majority of the masses to see the dots ALREADY connected, low expectations. Far too many are distracted by the pleasures of sin.

  • What is a cornerstone: it is the FIRST stone that is laid to build a house and it must be PERFECT – since the ground floor, the second floor and and the third floor and beyond are all built off of this FIRST cornerstone. The first floor cornerstone is laid directly on top of the ground floor cornerstone, The second floor conertsone is laid directly on the first floor cornertsone which itself is laid directly on the ground floor / foundation conerstone of the whole house. The one and true cornerstone is Jesus Chrst, ([KJV 1611] Mat 7:24 Therefore, whosoeuer heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I wil liken him vnto a wise man, which built his house vpon a rocke: — [KJV 1611] Mat 7:25 And the raine descended, and the floods came, and the windes blew, and beat vpon that house: and it fell not, for it was founded vpon a rocke.) Satan is the false corner stone ([KJV 1611] Mat 7:26 And euery one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall bee likened vnto a foolish man, which built his house vpon the sand: — [KJV 1611] Mat 7:27 And the raine descended, and the floods came, and the windes blew, and beat vpon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.) : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Capitol_cornerstone_laying — Jesus Christ is the cornerstone upon which every true Christian life is built upon and made perfect before God – [KJV 1611] Eph 2:19 Now therefore yee are no more strangers and forreiners; but fellow citizens with the Saints, and of the houshold of God, — [KJV 1611] Eph 2:20 And are built vpon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Iesus Christ himselfe being the chiefe corner stone, — [KJV 1611] Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together, groweth vnto an holy Temple in the Lord: — [KJV 1611] 1Pe 2:4 To whom comming as vnto a liuing Stone, disallowed in deed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, — [KJV 1611] 1Pe 2:5 Ye also as liuely stones, are built vp a spirituall house, an holy Priesthood to offer vp spirituall sacrifice, acceptable to God by Iesus Christ. — [KJV 1611] 1Pe 2:6 Wherefore it is conteined in the Scripture, Beholde, I lay in Sion a chiefe corner stone, elect, precious, and he that beleeueth on him, shall not be confounded. — [KJV 1611] 1Pe 2:7 Unto you therfore which beleeue hee is precious; but vnto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, —[KJV 1611] 1Pe 2:8 And a Stone of stumbling, and a Rocke of offence, euen to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient, whereunto also they were appointed.
