The new president who enacted this policy is a World Economic Forum ‘Agenda Contributor.’

As Sri Lanka’s economic conditions worsen and the public’s anger greatly lingers, the nation’s newest president has enacted a policy to begin rationing fuel via a national passport per a QR code.

Last week Sri Lanka introduced a “National Fuel Pass,” allowing residents to have a guaranteed amount of rationed fuel each week.

NDTV, an Indian-based outlet wrote, ‘The new pass will guarantee the allocation of fuel quota on weekly basis. A QR code will be given for each National Identity Card number (NIC), once the vehicle identification number and other details are verified.’ Furthermore, ‘people with registered vehicles will get their turns based on the last digit of their registration number. Tourists and foreigners will be given priority to take fuel in Colombo,’ the outlet explained.

No pass, no gas.

Sri Lanka’s Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera made the announcement via Twitter:

Introduction to the National Fuel Pass will be held at 12.30 pm. A guaranteed weekly fuel quota will be allocated. 1 Vehicle per 1 NIC, QR code allocated once Vehicle Chassis number & details verified. 2 days of the week according to Last Digit of number plate for fueling with QR.

Wijesekara stated

Several days ago Wijesekara followed up on the rollout of this ‘gas pass,’ stating on social media:

1) After initial technical issues, FuelPass QR system was successfuly tested today. Pilot project will continue before going national next week. Last Digit Number plate Fuel Quota will ease the fuel lines in the next few days with distribution speeding up islandwide.

2) I thank the fuel station owners who supported, the public that adopted & assisted, forces & volunteer that assisted to implement. Some fuel stations did not adopt, some Individuals manipulated, falsified & did not want this implemented. However It will be enforced islandwide.

Since then people on social media have captured footage of what the process looks like. According to some reports, the Sri Lankan Army has been involved in overseeing the rationing program at stations, wearing riot gear and holding loaded rifles at the ready, to prevent “non-essential vehicles” from receiving gas, according to The Counter Signal.

Since Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the former Sri Lankan President, fled the country as the people overran the capital, the former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe recently assumed the role of Sri Lankan President.

Wickremesinghe is a World Economic Forum Agenda Contributor.

In 2018 Wickremesinghe wrote an article for the Forum titled, “Sri Lanka PM: This is how I will make my country rich by 2025.”

Euro Weekly News reported on the 13th that this article was deleted by the Forum. However, at the time of this publication, the article is still live.

Regardless, the newly selected president wrote that the country’s “economic policy, Vision 2025, is firmly embedded in several principles, including a social market economy that delivers economic dividends to all.”

We have also played a constructive role in promoting international and regional initiatives in many areas, ranging from the environment and climate change to maritime security and migration. It is our commitment to use the strategic potential of the country, including its vibrant maritime connectivity, for enhancing friendly cooperation with all partners while reaping the economic benefits for all our peoples.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

This is certainly not the mark of the beast, but it is yet another example of just how closer and closer we are getting to the real thing.

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Revelation 13:16-18

Regulars know that I have warned about Covid vaccine passports coming into the fray, along with carbon calculators, food IDs, social credit, and so on. Now we can add fuel to the list. And yet, if you read some of the comments responding to Wijesekera’s formal announcements, they were praising the move. These people are just slaves of their own oppression.

Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.

Proverbs 29:8

As I noted in my last report on Sri Lanka, I said that you were going to see more of this happening this year, and years following. And already we are starting to see some of that, with U.K. Prime Minister Johnson and Italian President Draghi resigning. It is a just a regime change: more of the same but with a different coat of paint. The old guard must go. This debacle in Sri Lanka is a prime example of that, with the newly selected leader being a WEF stooge.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
