Yesterday the official 117th Congress was sworn in. Nancy Pelosi was reelected the Speaker of the House as well.
But watch the opening prayer for this new Congress. The prayer was conducted by Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, Democrat from Missouri (MO). Cleaver is an ordained United Methodist preacher.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
There are a whole lot of things to unpack with this madness, so allow me to break some things down here from this short clip.
Let us start off by addressing the absurd way this “preacher” ended the prayer. He ended it by saying “amen and ‘awomen.'” What of piece of social justice garbage! In this backwards world we live in, apparently ‘amen’ must be too misogynistic and this asserts the patriarchal society that can no longer be tolerated. Now we have to be all inclusive and say “awomen,” because saying “amen” is sexist, racist, and discriminatory standing alone.
[3] But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. [4] Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. [5] But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. [6] For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. [7] For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 1 Corinthians 11:3-7
But beyond all the ridiculous social justice here, people have no idea what amen even means. Amen is not some “patriarchal” term, it actually has a real meaning behind it.
Here is how Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines it:
This word, with slight differences or orthography, is in all the dialects of the Assyrian stock. As a verb, it signifies to confirm, establish, verify; to trust, or give confidence; as a noun, truth, firmness, trust, confidence; as an adjective, firm, stable. In English, after the oriental manner, it is used at the beginning, but more generally at the end of declarations and prayers, in the sense of, be it firm, be it established.
Amen is a title for Jesus Christ in Revelation 3:14. Why? Because Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). So by adding in the “awomen” at the end of that joke of a prayer, that “preacher” has not only perverted the meaning of God’s word, but also has blasphemed Jesus Christ!
The other major point to take note of before the “awomen” was Cleaver’s dedication to Brahma. For those who do not know who Brahma is, Brahma is the creator god of Hinduism. According to Hindi traditions, he also wrote the Vedas (the sacred scriptures of Hinduism). So now we have a supposed ordained Protestant preacher giving recognition to a pagan Hindi god! This is how far this nation has fallen.
It also demonstrates how stupid this man is. Before he mentioned the name “Brahma,” he referred to him as the “monotheistic god.” If you know anything at all about Hinduism, they are far from from being monotheistic (one god) in any fashion. Brahma is a member of the Hindu trinity also know as the Trimurti.
Brahma, the creator (not to be confused with Brahman); Vishnu, the protector and guardian of humanity; and Shiva, the destroyer, or, he who balances the forces of creation and destruction.

But this is how far this once great nation has fallen: where we have elected officials openly praying to pagan gods.
Of course, after he invokes the name of Brahma, he then mentions the “God known by many names by many different faiths.” This also continues to push the New World Order paradigm that everyone is all praying to the same being, and that is of course FAR from the truth.
I also want to point this out to those who are young in the faith. As blasphemous as this Cleaver fellow is, I can give you a solid guarantee that most pastors up and down this country, and the world, believe something akin to this: they believe that you can call God anything you want to and there is no problem in doing so; because, after all, we are all just praying to the same God, it’s just we choose to worship him differently then you (sarcasm of course). A King James Bible Believer who reads their Bible daily, and knows the scriptures, could obviously pick his whole prayer apart; but to the broad masses who are scripturally illiterate, they’d think he’s a wonderful minister and a fine Christian (if you removed the Brahma and ‘awomen’ from it). The masses would not know the difference – while this man’s definition of God was actually a Hindu god. Lesson: just because someone tosses around the word “God” or “Jesus,” means nothing. The devils confessed Jesus on numerous occasions. This is why you must JUDGE people.
[16] And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: [17] The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. [18] And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.Acts 16:16-18
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1
I’d also like to point out that mainstream news outlets like Fox did not even mention the invocation of Brahma in there initial reports. This just goes to show you that this veneer of Fox being some kind of “good and goodly” news outlet is a fallacy.
Folks, if you have not already figured it out, this nation is dead. Not dying, dead. This is how we are starting the new year, and we have seen nothing yet, and this is a only foreshadowing and forecast for the calamities we will see. Stay close to JESUS, brethren: things are going to be getting very bad very quickly.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Proverbs 29:2
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalm 9:17
As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
Proverbs 28:15
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Psalm 33:12
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Proverbs 14:34
If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
Proverbs 29:12

The ‘awomen’ was painful to hear. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
