This week, we see one of these modern, hip, trendy evangelical pastors at these glorified nightclubs and concert halls now rebranded as “churches,” rolling a blunt with pages of the Bible, reminiscing about how he once gave someone pages from the Bible to help this random man smoke his marijuana.
UPDATE: Thanks to a reader submission, the pastor is 32-year-old Tyler Sterban, lead pastor of Different Church in Nashville, Tennessee. The church’s website says he and his wife Ry’ann “BOTH COME FROM AN UNTRADITIONAL, NON CHURCHED BACKGROUND. WHEN THEY GOT MARRIED THEY WERE BOTH NEWLY INTO MINISTRY, BUT IMMEDIATELY SAW EVERYTHING GOD WANTED TO DO IN THEIR LIVES! SINCE THEN, THEY HAVE BEEN IN MINISTRY FOR NINE YEARS AND MARRIED FOR SEVEN!”
On his Threads page, Sterban claims he is a “rapper turnt pastor.”

Sterban also runs a podcast, where in one episode he publicly swears and uses the F-word.
But this is what passes for “Christianity” and “going to church” nowadays for so many people; and people love it and defend it. One comment on an Instagram post said:
“I read the Bible while smoking blunts for a long time. During that time I received FORGIVENESS and I was ABLE to FORGIVE. And before I knew it, I was no longer smoking. A religiously bound person would never understand this testimony because they are bound by works instead of being freed by the Spirit of God!”
No, it’s “religiously bound:” it’s called having standards; it’s called having conviction and a conscience; it’s called, “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate” (Proverbs 8:13); it’s called, “I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked” (Psalm 26:5); it’s called, “And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just” (Romans 3:8).
There is a video out there where famous rap artist Snoop Dogg, who is renowned for his habitual smoking at every opportunity he gets, talked about how he once smoked a blunt made from Bible paper.
I came across another article where people at a LGBTQIA+ Pride parade in 2016 were rolling and smoking doobies with scripture.
But like flies on a turd, wicked things attract wicked people; according to the philosophy of these modern “Christians,” take anything that is lowbrow and God calls abomination, and put a “Jesus stamp” on it and say, Lord bless.

Nothing surprises me anymore. If it’s out there, and God’s word calls it evil, you can expect some “church” out there to take it and claim the Lord’s blessings upon it; and will accuse you of being a “Pharisee,” “holier than thou,” judgmental – “he that is without sin let him cast the first stone” – type of rhetoric if you even try to condemn it.

A good friend of mine advised me in recent weeks that the reason jails ask for Bibles is for this very purpose. They take the pages and the yard grass to make smokes.

You know what, as demented as this sounds, back when I was 14 and a raging pothead, I rolled and smoked a lot of joints using this small pocket bible I found somewhere in the house—and I was proud of the laughs and compliments I got from my equally wicked peers. The thinness of the pages were similar to the typical zigzag rolling papers. Despite the bitter taste because of the ink, I still, stupidly continued doing it.

Yes, it’s more difficult for a lot of “good” people to be saved, unless the real fear of God comes into people’s hearts.

Back in the day I too smoked, but never thought of or never would use a Bible, even back then it was a Holy Bible.

When these false prophets die, they are going to a joint where they will have all the smoke they can stand; and not just on paper either.

We have entered the end of days of which we have been forewarned.
No man, government, religion, philosophy, etc. will stop what is occurring around the world. And that goes for our churches which have based their organizations (denominations) after mans organizations, not Gods Pattern for His Church and Families.
Man’s churches are failing as we enter the end of days of which we have been forewarned. Man’s Churches have assumed to themselves priesthoods and authority (as they supposed) thereby dividing believers one against another. They also assumed responsibilities which God ordained and appointed for Men and Women (The Family) not men’s churches. That is why Christian Families are failing like secular families.
What is God’s Church? It’s Jesus Christ and Born Again Believers having the indwelling of the Holy Spirit our True Guide, our True Teacher, our True Comforter along with God’s Word and the Testimony of His Creation. They are the living breathing Church Of God, adopted Sons and Daughters of God destined to be with Him throughout eternity.
Money has no value here, no trips to Alaska, no books to purchase, no – none of that.

Interestingly enough, many believe that the United States of America is Ephraim, not metaphorically (or should I perhaps say “not ONLY metaphorically”), but literally. I myself do not know whether this be the truth or not. I do believe (I am a man, indicating that my belief may be wrong, be advised…) however that the United States of America has been and was always planned on being the spear of the servants of Satan that brought his ultimate Anti-Messiah into power. (YHVH of course, I also believe, has seeded, at least initially, those lands with some of His people as well). I bid all of you to fast, pray, and meditate on Elohim’s Word while considering the possibility of LEAVING that Nation NOW. Nevertheless, we all have specific destinies, and some probably are meant to stay. I left many years ago. Where I am is somewhere TPTB in the USA constantly say “don’t go” and “it’s [one of or ] the most dangerous Country in the world”. The VAXX was never forced on us here. Businesses could stay open if they so chose. The Economy here is now better than it was BEFORE what I believe to perhaps be the grand delusion.
