The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced the first confirmed death from H5N1 avian influenza, reigniting fears and calls by the media and health experts that bird flu is primed to become the next deadly, if something is not done swiftly to stop it.

In a press release published on January 6th by the CDC, the government medical body wrote that it “is saddened by Louisiana’s report that a person previously hospitalized with severe avian influenza A(H5N1) illness (“H5N1 bird flu”) has passed away.”

It added:

While tragic, a death from H5N1 bird flu in the United States is not unexpected because of the known potential for infection with these viruses to cause severe illness and death. As of January 6, 2025, there have been 66 confirmed human cases of H5N1 bird flu in the United States since 2024 and 67 since 2022.

This is the first person in the United States who has died as a result of an H5 infection. Outside the United States, more than 950 cases of H5N1 bird flu have been reported to the World Health Organization; about half of those have resulted in death.

CDC has carefully studied the available information about the person who died in Louisiana and continues to assess that the risk to the general public remains low. Most importantly, no person-to-person transmission spread has been identified. As with the case in Louisiana, most H5 bird flu infections are related to animal-to-human exposures.

Additionally, there are no concerning virologic changes actively spreading in wild birds, poultry, or cows that would raise the risk to human health. (CDC reported previously on its analysis of the viruses isolated from the patient in Louisiana.)

The Louisiana Department of Health also stated: “While the current public health risk for the general public remains low, people who work with birds, poultry or cows, or have recreational exposure to them, are at higher risk.”

This news is being reported in all major mainstream media outlets, emphasizing that this infection was contracted from backyard poultry flocks. The media ‘experts’ also noted that scientists are closely monitoring potential mutations for human-to-human transmission, which could then increase the risk substantially for another pandemic.

Raw, unpasteurized dairy is once again getting demonized for potentially increasing the risk of contracting and spreading the virus. People are also being encouraged to get a flu shot, though medical professionals admit that it cannot stop a bird flu infection.

NBC News medical contributor Dr. John Torres says the risk is low but “you do want to be concerned.”

Since news of this latest infection began to spread, stocks in pharmaceutical and biotech companies have been rising. Moderna shares were up 12% at $47.50 in early-afternoon trading Tuesday, Investopedia reported.

In July, The WinePress reported that the Biden administration gifted the biotech giant $176 million to produce new mRNA vaccines to combat bird flu.

“We are pleased to continue our collaboration with BARDA to expedite our development efforts for mRNA-based pandemic influenza vaccines and support the global public health community in preparedness against potential outbreaks,” CEO Stephane Bancel said.

Last month, California became the first state to declare a public health emergency over the spread of bird flu, allowing authorities greater ability to deploy testing and more surveillance to mitigate risks.

Reports claim that bird flu is still increasingly running rapidly throughout the state’s raw dairy farms.

Additionally, the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced the start of its National Milk Testing Strategy (NMTS). California, Colorado, Michigan, Mississippi, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Maryland, Montana, New York, Ohio, Vermont, and Washington have signed-up to be actively involved in this program.

Covid Doctors Return To Warn About Bird Flu

Prior to the CDC’s latest announcement, some old familiar faces regularly featured during the Covid-19 pandemonium just a handful of years ago have returned to warn about the pandemic potential of bird flu, and why vaccines need to be developed swiftly.

One of those is Dr. Deborah Birx, who told CNN last June that bird flu was a problem to worry about. Over a week ago, she returned to again reiterate that message. “We kind of have our head in the sand about how widespread this is from the zoonotic standpoint, from the animal-to-human standpoint,” Birx said.

Birx emphasized the need for more testing to understand what is going on. Birx also criticized the CDC, saying the institution is repeating the same mistakes with Covid and are using the same watered down messaging that downplayed the risks and severity.

Several days later, Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the CDC, responded to Birx’s accusations that the CDC is underprepared and is not doing enough. He, of course, denies her claims.

Around the same time, over a week ago, former Boston Health Commissioner Dr. Leana Wen, told CBS’ Face The Nation that the U.S. needs to have more rapid tests available and vaccines ready to combat bird flu. “I feel like we should have learned our lesson from COVID that just because we aren’t testing, it doesn’t mean that the virus isn’t there,” she said.

Worried that the incoming Trump administration might slow down progress, Wen urged the Biden administration to work with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to approve an already developed and tested bird flu vaccine. “There’s research done on it. They could get this authorized now, and also get the vaccine out to farm workers and to vulnerable people.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci not long ago said that he believes bird flu has the potential to be the next great pandemic. For the last several years, former CDC Director Robert Redfield has repeatedly said that bird flu will be the “next pandemic,” and with it a mortality rate of 25-50%.

All throughout 2024, The WP highlighted every so often highlighted a number of mainstream headlines and soundbites that perpetuated fears of a bird flu pandemic. Here are some of the more recent ones floated out within the last couple of weeks:

  • “Portugal reports outbreak of bird flu on farm near Lisbon” – (Reuters)
  • “Scientists Are Racing to Develop a New Bird Flu Vaccine” – (TIME)

Moreover, there has been a recent splurge in reports that are now increasingly warning that bird flu is spreading in pet food, and has purportedly killed some pets, another theme mainstream media reported in 2024.

Some of these other reports include:

  • “Bird flu is a growing threat to pets — here’s how to protect your furry friends” – (New York Post)
  • “Another raw pet food H5N1 bird flu recall. More sick cats in L.A. County” – (LA Times)

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

Regular readers of The WinePress know that I have been adamantly warning about the threat of a zoonotic plandemic, particularly that of bird flu, all the way back in 2021 when we were still dealing with the Covid scam and vaccine mandates. It was beyond clear that the Covid scamdemic was just the primer: this next one would be the “real” one; and it appears that all signs indicate that it will be bird flu.

Dr. Joseph Mercola cited my warnings in a piece he wrote in 2022, warning about the exact thing we’re seeing transpire:

We already discussed in October media headlines that declared whoever won the [s]election, they would be the “Bird Flu Pandemic President.” So, I think we can safely assume now that in 2025 or 2026 we are getting “another pandemic.”

Again, let me be very clear in saying I don’t believe a single thing the media and medical officials tell me. The whole point of all of this, as I have articulated repeatedly over the years, and as seen in Mercola’s article quoting me, is to exact more control over the food supply in the U.S. and around the world, specifically by consolidating farms and putting small farms and ranches out of business; creating justification to euthanize livestock, wildlife and pets included, and vaccinate them all to death as well; and then remove meat and dairy from store shelves, and/or limit consumption and make it impossibly unaffordable.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

But this time the old tricks of propaganda alone will not work. I believe visual stimuli is required this time around. If anything, when, not if, but when the media and health officials declare bird flu is transmitting between human-to-human, these cases and eventual deaths will be seen among those who received the Covid weaponry injections… Just crank-up EMF and 5G radiation, and let the bodies of those who are now filled mRNA, self-assembling nanotech and graphene oxide, fall apart and drop dead in front of everyone’s eyes.

With that in mind, the conditioned masses will snap into their programming from the last go-around, and will voluntarily mask-up, vax-up, and lockdown all over again. SEE: UK Official Says When The ‘Next Pandemic’ Arrives People Will Automatically Comply Because They Have Been Conditioned To Obey

And under a Trump presidency here in the U.S., it will be more accepted, especially this time around because, as some of my readers have astutely pointed out, many of the very-pro MAGA outlets have their audiences primed and ready to accept whatever Trump says and does. Last time there was a little hesitation, not this time.

So, do what you can with this information and prepare the best that you can; and I still say you need to network with farmers who do things the right way as God intended, and warn them of the impending danger that is soon to drop, and that you may be able to better secure a stable source of food.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Genesis 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
