With the official BRICS summit underway, taking place in Kazan, Russia, a new alternative payment system has garnered a lot of buzz as a decentralized, blockchain-based payment platform that will allow users to pay digitally while also circumventing the use of the U.S. dollar.

BRICS Pay, which has been in existence for a number of years now, has recently gone through a bit of a rebranding phase and has regained greater points of use ahead of the annual BRICS summit.

Coin Trust reported:

BRICS Pay is a digital payment system designed to facilitate faster and more secure transactions among the BRICS countries. Built on blockchain technology, the platform promises to offer a more efficient and transparent alternative to traditional banking methods.

With the ability to send and receive money quickly and securely, BRICS Pay is expected to benefit both businesses and individuals looking to engage in cross-border trade within the BRICS nations.

One of the primary advantages of this new system is its potential to reduce the reliance of BRICS countries on the U.S. dollar, which remains the dominant currency in global trade. By allowing transactions to be settled in local currencies through BRICS Pay, the member nations could achieve greater financial independence. This shift would not only reduce their exposure to dollar fluctuations but also strengthen their respective economies by encouraging the use of their own currencies in international trade.

BRICS Pay says on its website

The WinePress reported on BRICS Pay around this same time last year, but at the time the developers behind BRICS Pay explicitly stated that their platform was designed to facilitate CBDCs and tokenized assets.

BRICS PAY set benefits from a combination of traditional payment systems and new technologies such as central bank digital currencies (CBDC), decentralized finance, and tokenized assets (secured money). BRICS PAY is an expansion of payment options for companies and citizens of participating countries, as well as for the entire world and all existing or emerging payment solutions.

BRICS Pay is similar to the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) network. BRICS Pay encourages the use of local currencies and national digital assets, which reduces dependency on Western-dominated financial institutions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said BRICS is not yet ready for a unified BRICS currency. “As regards the common BRICS currency, we do not consider this issue at the moment; it is not mature. We should be very careful; we need to act gradually, without haste in this regard,” Putin said, as reported by TASS.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

I find it interesting that BRICS Pay has removed the fact that their network is meant to a support CBDCs and tokenization. Why the change? I mean, it’s not like BRICS nations have hidden the fact that they are all-in and actively working on CBDCs, so why now leave this functionality out?

Even though the world may be de-dollarizing and moving into multipolarity, nations are still coming out with CBDCs and tokenization. Follow the money.

On top of this, the underlying globalization agenda still in tact; still following the satanic guidance of the United Nations and their Sustainable Development Goals, among other things. This was made evident during a BRICS summit earlier this year where member states pledged their continued allegiance to fulfill the 17 SDGs.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
