Seldomly reported before Israel declared war in Gaza on October 7th, Israel teetered on a razor’s edge of descending into civil war, with roughly half of the country demanding that Netanyahu be removed from office, after Netanyahu tried to pass legislature that would have essentially stripped their Supreme Court of any real teeth, checks and balances that would have prevented Netanyahu from getting with a number of accounts of fraud and corruption levied against him.

New protests began on Sunday and apart of a planned 4-day protest outside of the Israeli Knesset, at a time when Parliament members are beginning a 6-week holiday.
The Times of Israel wrote: ‘“Dear Knesset members, if you want a vacation, quit,” said Noga Friedman, one of Monday night’s speakers, whose husband Iddo Rosenthal died defending Kibbutz Alumim during Hamas’s October 7 attacks on Israel that sparked the conflict.’

Veterans of the Yom Kippur War, standing atop two tank mock-ups, shouted into loudspeakers of the need for a new government. Just beyond them was a fenced-in tent compound set up by protestors, many with the now-familiar posters of hostages taped to their exteriors.
The paper noted
Other protestors wore shirts demanding the PM take responsibility for October 7th debacle and “go home.” Mai Albini Peri, a grandson of one of the hostages still reportedly trapped in Gaza by Hamas, said, “We demand a deal now, but there won’t be one so long as this government finds it more important to kill Arabs than to save Jews.”
Moran Zer Katzenstein, the activist behind the protest group (Women) Building an Alternative, said during the protest:
It’ll take years to fix what Netanyahu did over 16 years. We ask Knesset members to join us. [Benny] Gantz and [Gadi] Eisenkot, drive away this government! Join us now.
she said, addressing leaders of the National Unity party who opposed the Netanyahu-led government but joined it in an emergency capacity for the war.
Rotem Sivan, a doctor and mother of three with a son who is a combat soldier in Gaza, told the crowd, “The life of my son doesn’t interest the leadership. The leadership is willing to bury him, just for their own interests,” said Sivan, who has another son whose gap year program is about to be cut short so that he can be conscripted into the army due to manpower shortages, the paper added.
Separately, another protest consisting of “ultra-Orthodox protesters” blocked a highway, protesting against being drafted into the war.
The TOI said ‘Protesters held banners reading “To jail and not the army,” “We will die rather than draft,” “Stalin is here,” and “Russia is here.” Police arrested six demonstrators and forcefully cleared the highway after the demonstrators refused to leave, opening the road to traffic after two hours.’

Other protests turned violent and destructive across Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, demanding the hostages be returned and that the war come to an end.
Shira Albag, whose 19-year-old daughter Liri was among the youngest to be taken hostage by Hamas, said:
The people of Israel won’t forget or forgive anyone who prevents a deal that would bring them [the hostages] back to us. After 176 days, 4,244 hours, the excuses have run out.
Albag said
Einav Zangauker, whose son Matan was also taken captive, said Netanyahu’s handling of the hostage deals was “criminal.” She said to the crowds: “You [Netanyahu] are the obstacle… You are the one who stands between us and the return home of our loved ones. From now we will work to immediately replace you… We will publicly hound you.”

Despite these protests and the strong majority of Israeli’s cynicism towards Netanyahu, most of them are still in support of the overall war efforts and the machine that keeps it going, even to their own detriment, as seen in national polls, as articulated in an opinion piece for Jewish paper Haaretz.
And yet, Israelis continue to support this government by the very fact that they report for “work” (the accepted euphemism for the invasion and killing) in Gaza, loyally fulfilling the mission of dispossession carried out by the Israel settlement-defending forces in the West Bank. By the very fact that the Israel Medical Association is not expressing its shock at the reports of starvation in Gaza, with jurists and child welfare organizations not even raising questions regarding the high number of Palestinian children being killed. Support for this government stems from the fact that Kaplan Street demonstrators did not join en masse the dozens of courageous activists who accompany Palestinian farmers and shepherds in order to shield them from settler violence. Neither before nor during this war.
Either agree to an inferior status, emigrate and be uprooted ostensibly voluntarily, or face defeat and death in a war. This is the plan now carried out in Gaza and the West Bank, with most Israelis serving as active and enthusiastic accomplices, or passively acquiescing in its realization, regardless of their revulsion for this government and its members. The vast majority still believe that war is the solution.
The paper wrote
SEE: Did You Know That The United States And Israel Created And Funded Hamas?
Middle East Eye wrote today: ‘The ongoing war in Gaza began when a Hamas-led assault on southern Israel killed at least 1,140 people, with over 200 taken back to Gaza as hostages. Israel retaliated by relentlessly bombing the Palestinian enclave and launching a ground invasion, killing at least 32,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and destroying large swathes of the area’s civilian infrastructure.’

AUTHOR COMMENTARY
I seldomly talk about the Israel thing simply just because there is so much propaganda on all sides, it is pointless and vain trying to report on particulars; and, most people are very emotional not level-headed when discussing this issue, especially with most people brainwashed by the mainstream media and whatever they want people to think.
As I had indicated when this war began, the whole thing did not make sense from the start, but it, quite frankly, is not going to end the way a lot of people thinking it will. The world is fuming hot at Israel right now, and by proxy the U.S., and therefore is not hard to see the foreshadowing for all the pent up rage against the Jews during the time of Jacob’s trouble, which we keep inching closer towards day by day.
The rest of my commentary is the same from my report “Israel’s Economy Faces Woes Amidst 20% Plunge In GDP Due To War – Worse To Come:”
Israel’s war is not going to end well for them. I said this fairly early on during this conflict, if you recall, to the chagrin of many who blindly support things out of ignorance for all the wrong reasons.
Remember that military group that forecast a 70% die-off in the American population by 2025? Well, they also forecast that Israel’s population will be cut in half (52%); their GDP will see an 80% drop, their military expenditures will cascade by 91%, and their purchasing power parity (PPP) will sink by 67%.

My friends, Israel is going to have a time of it coming up and they will be punished greatly. This war they are waging, the tactics and cruelty the likes of which Netanyahu and the IDF are using, will not end well, I can assure you of it. Furthermore, the U.S. is responsible for funding Israel annually. Well, what do you suppose is going to happen when the American economy collapses and the money spicket runs dry, and Israel is surrounded by countries and people who feverishly want them annihilated?

[1] When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without. [2] And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face. [3] They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
Hosea 7:1-3
I reckon a LOT of death and ruin is coming to Israel well before the time of Jacob’s trouble occurs (Jeremiah 30), for which a remnant of Israel will be saved out of it – as ‘remnant, according to the Webster’s 1828 Dictionary says, “Residue; that which is left after the separation, removal or destruction of a part.” So, anyone who teaches the replacement theology lie from the pits of Rome needs to be rebuked and ashamed, because they are lying about the word of God (Romans 11).
[22] For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. [23] But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. [24] And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luke 21:22-24 – the nation of Israel during the time of Jacob’s trouble
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
