Predictive Programming: Obama Helps Produce Movie “Leaving The World Behind,” Showing US Crippled By Massive Cyber Attack

The movie was released in theaters on November 22nd, and began streaming on Netflix on December 8th. The setting of the film features the United States being struck by crippling cyber attacks that causes everything to go haywire, causing tremendous stress and tribulation on the film’s main cast.

Former President Barack Obama, and his wife Michele, were co-producers of this movie, and provided their oversight in the direction of the film to be as realistic as they could but still dramatized. In 2018 the Obamas founded a production company called Higher Ground Productions.

Due to their involvement in the film, Screen Rant says the move ‘has been shrouded in various conspiracy theories since its release, more so because of the Obamas’ role in the movie.’

In a statement to Collider, author of the novel and director of the film, Sam Esmail, claimed that the bulk of the script and major plot points have already been written before signing onto the film, so some of the alleged conspiracy theories floating around are false, he says.

I think the silly thing about the whole thing is President Obama really came on a couple of months before we started shooting, so the script had basically been written and done. He obviously gave notes on the script, but the bones of the story and the sequences were already written. I would just say they’re pretty wrong in terms of his signaling. It had nothing to do with that.

Because President Obama is such a movie lover, he really focused his notes on trying to cinematically portray what was in the book in a really interesting way. The book was on his reading list, it’s one of his favorites, and he really wanted to do justice by the book and this theme about mistrust and this being a cautionary tale about what could happen if we don’t have that community or bond that holds us together. So he really gave notes with regards to character, empathy, and also the disaster elements. It was really across the board. And again, it was all in pursuit of making it into a good movie. That was his main focus.

Collider also noted: ‘Following the release of Leave the World Behind, some viewers began to speculate about the movie’s true message, especially because of the Obamas’ involvement. A portion were of the opinion that the movie is a precursor of what’s to come, while others believed that the Obamas are sending out a warning regarding society’s dependence on technology and how that can be taken advantage of. While these theories have been running for weeks, Esmail’s comments about the Obamas’ involvement debunks those theories and prove they are nothing but a farce.’

Howbeit many still believe the events depicted in the film could seriously happen, and such discussion has made its way into the mainstream. Bloomberg ran a headline today that said, “Leave the World Behind: Could Netflix Movie’s Cyberattack Actually Happen?” However, the title of the article was change shortly thereafter which now says, “Why Hack In “Leave the World” Behind Is Chilling But Unlikely.”

The article did cite some examples of cyberattacks in recent years around the world that have gone after critical infrastructure, but Bloomberg still said “cybersecurity experts told [the author] that it was unlikely hackers could create such large-scale chaos.” Additionally, “In the meantime, experts told [the author], rest easy about a cyber apocalypse. For now, such an incident is more likely to stay in the movies.”

While it’s possible to both hack systems on boats and planes as well as send fake navigation signals, most of the planes and boats still have an ability for the crew to take over if something seems amiss.

In New York City, misanthrope Amanda Sanford arranges an impromptu weekend vacation for her and her family, with the goal of spending quality time together. She, her husband Clay, and their children, Rose and Archie, drive to a rental house on Long Island. Whilst shopping for groceries, she witnesses a man stocking up on noticeably large quantities of canned food and water. Rose is frustrated that the house lacks internet access, which has prevented her from watching the series finale of Friends. As the family relaxes at a nearby beach, they witness an oil tanker run aground, causing them to retreat. Later they find the television and Wi-Fi now inoperable. Nevertheless, they see a pair of deer, uplifting their moods.

That night, two people, George H. Scott a.k.a ‘G.H.’ and his daughter Ruth, call on the Sanfords, claiming the house to be theirs. Seeking shelter, they explain that a blackout in the city compelled them to come; Amanda is suspicious, but Clay allows them inside after G.H. refunds them $1000. The next morning, Amanda notices news alerts on her phone about the blackout, which attributes the blackout targeted hacking; Rose witnesses a larger herd of deer. Attempting to learn more, Clay drives to town while G.H. heads to his neighbor’s house; Clay is encountered by a Spanish-speaking woman seeking help and a drone dropping leaflets written in Arabic, while G.H. finds the neighbors’ home a mess, discovering the wreckage of a plane crash, another of which he narrowly avoids. Elsewhere, Rose, concerned by the presence of the deer, hikes along with Archie in the nearby woods, where they come across a shed. Archie is bitten by a tick.

Returning to the house, G.H. confides to Amanda of the events he witnessed, theorizing that nationwide satellite connectivity has been disrupted; he is cut off by a loud shrill. She recalls the man stocking water from yesterday, whom he assumes is Danny, his housing contractor. Clay returns shaken and shows the pamphlet, which Archie partially translates as “Death to America”. Fed up, the Sandfords leave the house, intending to drive to Amanda’s sister in New Jersey, but find the highway jammed with collided self-driving cars; they narrowly avoid incoming cars that crash as well, and they are forced to return to G.H.’s house. Throughout the night, Ruth asks Clay provocative questions and later discovers flamingoes in the pool; Amanda and G.H. establish a friendly bond. A second shrill noise emerges, ending the night’s events prematurely.

The next morning, Archie’s teeth inexplicably fall out; believing it is related to the tick bite, G.H. suggests visiting Danny for medicine. Rose, however, is missing. G.H. and Clay take Archie to visit Danny, while Amanda and Ruth search for Rose. At the shed, the two are confronted by a herd of deer, which they frighten away. Meanwhile, G.H. and Clay attempt to convince a stubborn Danny to help Archie, which results in a standoff between G.H. and Danny. A desperate Clay intervenes, begging Danny to assist Archie, to which he gradually relents. After helping them, Danny tells G.H. that another neighbor may be equipped with an underground bunker.

Shaken, G.H. explains his view of the events to the Clay and Archie: he is convinced that an unnamed enemy is attempting to dismember the country using a three-stage military maneuver to isolate civilization by disabling all forms of transportation and communication, to wreak havoc with covert attacks and disinformation and to push members of the confused populace to fight against each other, effectively finishing the work for the enemy. The three leave for the bunker, while Amanda and Ruth watch New York City being bombed. Rose, in the neighbor’s house, finds the bunker, where an Emergency Alert System message warns of elevated radiation levels across multiple U.S. cities; she finds a DVD of Friends, and watches the series finale.

A number analysts and movie reviewers tried to give their takes on some of the unexplained events in the film, attempting to explain their symbolism.

But some of the so-called “conspiracy theorists,” they would likely be called, saw this film as a roadmap and predictive programming for the future.

Journalist and author Leo Hohmann watched the film and noted some interesting findings in the film:

America, portrayed in the film as horribly divided by political, religious, racial and cultural issues, gets hit out of the blue by a major cyber attack. Embedded in this movie is tons of symbolism including three shots of the number 6 in the opening scene. As society disintegrates, there is no government to the rescue. Everyone is on their own. The overall theme of the film seems to be a seeting hatred for humanity. “We are all so awful,” Julia Roberts’ character exclaims. We are awful to each other. We are awful to the planet. Maybe it’s best if we just all kill each other? That’s what I hear this movie whispering into the public consciousness.

At one point, one of the major characters reveals a three-stage formula for conquering a nation.

The first stage is “isolation,” which included a power outage the end of cellular and internet communications. They even hacked satellites which stopped satellite phones from working. Once the communications and sources of information were taken down, the second stage was launched. This stage included “synchronized chaos” where the country is terrorized with “covert attacks, misinformation and disinformation.” Leaflets were dropped from drones leading people to believe the cyber attack was the work of China, Iran or North Korea, when there’s a good possibility it was actually caused by globalist players within the U.S.

“If done successfully, the third stage would happen on its own. Coup d’etat. Civil war. Collapse,” the character says, adding, “This program was considered the most cost-effective way to destabilize a country. Because if the target nation was dysfunctional enough, it would, in essence, do the work for you. Whoever started this wants us to finish it.”

Others such as the crew for Valuetainment are adamant this movie is definitely a phycological operation, by those in power who are letting the world know what’s going to happen next. Economist Neil McCoy-Ward also felt that this film was definitely predicting possible events to occur in real life.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

This past week I did a report on how the prospect of a crippling cyber attack is very likely in 2024; and doing so would be used as a means to expand a larger conflict with world superpowers such as Russia, China, and Iran (which the blamed culprits in this film); along with acting as a ploy to coverup for the collapsing banking sector and broader economy; and using the controlled chaos as a means to implement digital IDs from the fallout. Definitely give that report a read.

To me, it’s quite obvious this film is predictive programming, especially when you got the Obamas sitting right there giving their input. He of all people would obviously know what’s going to happen coming down the pike. This was designed to plant the seeds into people’s heads, so when it does happen the masses have already been sublimely expecting it.

So many people just turn a blind eye to this stuff, scoffing at the idea of actually making some kind of preparation, even if it’s small. It’s better than nothing. One commenter on Valuetainment’s video wrote: “My husband who has no social media, never watches the news made himself wealthy on his own and is the happiest person in the world. I had him watch this and he just laughed and said, ‘this is just the next fake fear they will pedal, ‘just like climate change.’ And then he went to play golf.” -Yup, that’s most people’s mentality to anything. Whatever, quite frankly the people who chose to remain willfully ignorant, especially the professing saved Christian, reap what they sow.

As we transition into 2024, I continue to urge readers to seriously look over their preparations, and continued build on them; to decentralize their operations, as going without power and the internet will be formality, not just because of the fallout of a planned cyber attack, but in the aftermath when us noncompliant folk will have to learn to do without, and not participate in their system.
