A new health study that received backing from the World Health Organization (WHO), and a number of other reputable health bodies in Europe, claim that a number of ultra-processed foods have little to no effect on one’s health, and in some cases can supposedly be actually healthy; but things such as meat-based foods are seen as unhealthy.

Published in the reputable journal The Lancet, the study titled “Consumption of ultra-processed foods and risk of multimorbidity of cancer and cardiometabolic diseases: a multinational cohort study” – concluded that while some ultra-processed that are meat-based and sugary sodas are bad, and can lead to a host of health issues like cancer, other highly-processed foods such as breads and cereals asserts are actually beneficial.

The study included ‘266,666 participants (60% women) free of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes at recruitment from seven European countries in the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) study,’ the authors of the study explained. They added, ‘Foods and drinks consumed over the previous 12 months were assessed at baseline by food-frequency questionnaires and classified according to their degree of processing using Nova classification.’

The researchers published their findings, stating:

After a median of 11.2 years of follow-up, 4461 participants (39% women) developed multimorbidity of cancer and cardiometabolic diseases. Higher UPF consumption (per 1 standard deviation increment, ∼260 g/day without alcoholic drinks) was associated with an increased risk of multimorbidity of cancer and cardiometabolic diseases.

Among UPF subgroups, associations were most notable for animal-based products, and artificially and sugar-sweetened beverages. Other subgroups such as ultra-processed breads and cereals or plant-based alternatives were not associated with risk.

Among UPF subgroups, higher intakes of artificially and sugar-sweetened beverages, and animal-based products were associated with higher risk of multimorbidity, as was higher consumption of sauces, spreads and condiments, but with less certainty.

In contrast, ultra-processed breads and cereals showed an inverse association with the risk of multimorbidity, but with a borderline certainty. Sweets and desserts, savory snacks, plant-based alternatives, ready-to eat/heat and mixed dishes were not associated with risk of multimorbidity.

A higher consumption of UPFs was associated with a higher risk of multimorbidity of cancer and cardiometabolic diseases. Artificially and sugar-sweetened beverages, animal-based products and sauces, spreads and condiments, but not other items, were associated with increased risk of multimorbidity, suggesting that more nuanced subgroup analyses of UPFs are warranted.

Multimorbidity represents a continuum which starts when a healthy individual develops a chronic disease. Therefore, higher consumption of UPFs prior to a first NCD might contribute to unfavourable prognosis of these diseases by increasing the risk of multimorbidity.

The study found

Heinz Freisling, co-author of the paper and associate at the WHO’s cancer research agency IARC, which also worked on the research, said: “Our study emphasizes that it is not necessary to completely avoid ultra-processed foods; rather, their consumption should be limited, and preference be given to fresh or minimally processed foods.”

Dr. Ian Johnson, a nutrition researcher and emeritus fellow at the Quadram Institute, stated the study had shined a light on what types of UPF are and are not harmful.

These observations do suggest a role for some UPF in the onset of multiple chronic disease. But they also show that the common assumption that all UPF foods are linked to adverse health events is probably wrong.

He explained

In agreement with the study and fellow contributors, Dr. Duane Mellor, a senior lecturer at Aston University’s medical school, said: “The concept of ultra-processed foods is too broad.”

Other major funding besides the WHO includes the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Fondation de France, Cancer Research UK, World Cancer Research Fund International, and the Institut National du Cancer.

However, multibillionaire philanthropist and investor Bill Gates is a heavy-hitting investor in the WHO annually, placing second behind the United States collectively in the hundreds of millions he consistently doles out for the WHO; which has caused concern for some who worry that his donations heavily influence the policies and guidance of the WHO.

Gates has been a major player in investing plant-based and cell-cultured meats, and a big proponent of genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), and gene-edited crops and animals.

Gates’ approval and love for gene-spliced crops and GMOs was on display exactly one year ago, when he paid a visit to Kenya, speaking to college students and the government about introducing GMO’s into the country, The WinePress reported. At the time he stated during a press conference:

Organic food is a small part of the market that’s very expensive. But every piece of bread I’ve ever eaten is high-productivity wheat, GMO wheat. Every piece of corn I’ve eaten is GMO corn.

These are things that billions of years of using these products have been done.

[…] These are proven, proven products – nobody’s trying to take something that hundreds of millions of people haven’t already been eating with the perfect safety record.

Many Kenyans were not too thrilled about Gates’ ambitions, with one Kenyan saying, “Yeh, but look at your Wheat Belly with Insulin Resistance.”

Moreover, the WHO’s recently backed study is congruent with the United States’ new standards on health. The WP reported in August, 2022, President Joe Biden and a bipartisan team headed the “Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health,” which sought to set new standards to combat the woeful state of the U.S. population’s nutritional wellbeing. The appointed head of this conference is Dariush Mozaffarian, the Dean of the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University.

However, Mozaffarian and Tufts have come under heavy scrutiny for their health recommendations. Mozaffarian and a team of researchers at the school created what is known as the “Food Compass,” a tool that ranks food products on a scale of 1 to 100, composited by a number of factor.

As thorough as the database is, many other scientists in their peer-reviews have called into question the legitimacy of this Food Compass. One team of researchers who meticulously scanned through Tufts’ rankings, and compiled a number of questionable rankings. They discovered that Tufts ranks things like Frosted Mini Wheats, Honey Nut Cheerios in the “to be encouraged” to eat more of category; faux egg substitutes fried in vegetable seed oil, Lucky Charms, Almond M&M’s, ice cream cone with nuts in the “to be moderated” category; but listed ground beef, real eggs fried in butter, and cheddar cheese “to be minimized.”

As noted by The WP in that report, when looking deeper into where he received his funding for the project, it is revealed that Mozaffarian was gifted millions of dollars courtesy of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation, to name a few.

Additionally, last month The WP also noted that Tufts University is the first university in the world that offers a degree in cellular agriculture, which prominently includes studying and learning about lab-grown meats, and gene-editing processes in food.

Furthermore, it is important to also note that many social media influencers and so-called dieticians are being paid by these monopolized corporations and lobbyist groups that work with the juggernauts of the food industry, to promote eating highly-processed foods, snacks, candies, beverages, and deserts.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.

Proverbs 13:17

At this point most people who are even awake to this nonsense can only just nod our heads in disgust and shame, as this obvious propaganda study, and many others like it, are just so comically stupid there is no way it can be taken seriously. I mean, we truly are living in the Twilight Zone when “doctors” and “health professionals” are actually trying to convince us that M&M’s are healthier than beef, eggs, and cheese!

Putting aside the ridiculous conclusions drawn in this obviously biased and heavily-funded propaganda piece – this also speaks to how backwards and upside down society has become and been for a while; where people need a “study,” a piece of paper that spells out the obvious, to be convinced of something; and not go by just basic common sense, logic, reason, and truth and law of God that is in every man’s heart. You don’t need a “study” to see something that can be plainly observed with your own two eyes, and an honest heart and a clear conscience in the sight of God. But, Proverbs 16:29-30 says:

[29] A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way that is not good. [30] He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.

Proverbs 16:29-30

The U.S. are the undisputed heavyweight champs of the world; having the most doctors and spends the most by far on medical care, but we are also undeniably the most sick, fat, lazy, stupid, and ugliest population out there. And yet all one has to do is look at what people put in their shopping carts and where they eat out at, and how many drugs they are on, to understand why Americans are so insanely unhealthy. 2+2=4. The correlation is so obvious and undeniable.

As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

Proverbs 26:2

Etch that proverb into the back of your brain, because it is imperative for you to know it, study it, and apply it. The idea of random freak health ailments, (such as cancer, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, liver failure, cystic acne, insulin resistance, crushed testosterone and elevated estrogen, and on and on), are not an accident. There is plain cause and effect: it’s called reaping and sowing. These health issues originate from something; and all this junk food, poisoned water, and drugs people are fed are the obvious contributing factors.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
