Today U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller made two perceived gaffes in succession, saying that “the war has been a strategic failure for Ukraine.”

Miller was immediately corrected by the press in attendance, and to which the spokesperson then tried to laugh-off the slip-ups.

“We believe the war has been a strategic failure for Ukraine,” Miller said.

“Don’t you mean ‘a strategic failure for Russia?’” a reporter pressed.

“I’m sorry — excuse me — a strategic failure for Ukraine! Thank you for the correction!”

The full briefing

Today marks the 500th day of the Russia-Ukraine war, along with the United States’ unrelenting support for Ukraine.

Just recently President Joe Biden and the Pentagon authorized the use of the highly controversial cluster bombs; a weapon that 120 nations have banned. The United Nations even spoke out against the move as well.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.

Ecclesiastes 10:12

This was just as bad if not perhaps even worse than President Bush’s Freudian Slip he said last year, where he admitted that the Iraq War (that he started) was “unjustified.”

For all intents and purposes, from what I have gathered, and have mentioned before, it appears Ukraine is near collapse and Russia has succeeded in destroying Ukraine’s weapons and men. There was supposed to be this major counteroffensive and last “hezah,” but it would seem that was a colossal failure and Ukraine is out of options.

But this “slip” from Mr. Miller was the first real time the U.S. ACTUALLY told the truth about this war since day one, and is probably the only real glimpse of truth of this war Western media will ever allow to be broadcast.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
