“I will wear the arrest warrant issued by Putin’s corrupt and immoral government as a Badge of Honor,” Graham said.

South Carolinian Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has landed himself on Russia’s terrorist watchlist and a warrant has been issued for his arrest by the Kremlin, after the senator appeared to make an inflammatory statement claiming that he is glad that the money and supplies being sent to Ukraine to kill Russians is “the best money we ever spent.”

Graham recently visited with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky again for a third time in Kyiv. “It is very important, we appreciate this help. We know that from the first days of full-scale Russian aggression, we have full support. I’m deeply grateful for this,” Zelensky said in a release. Zelensky praised and thanked Graham and the U.S. for another round of fiscal support and supply F-16 fighter jets.

The Ukrainian government released a video of the conversation were it appears that Graham said the following statement that enraged Russia:

The Russians are dying. It’s the best money ever spent.

Graham said grinning

Naturally Russian officials blasted the remarks. Maria Zakharova, Spokeswoman for Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said this in a lengthy statement:

“U.S. Senator from South Carolina Lindsey Graham said with a satisfied smirk at a meeting with Zelensky: “Russians are dying. We have never spent money so well.”

During the Nuremberg Tribunal, the Minister of Economics of Nazi Germany, Hjalmar Schacht, stated that sponsorship of the Third Reich also came from abroad and named the two largest American corporations: Ford and General Motors. An unspoken deal was made with him – freedom in exchange for silence. Despite the protests of the Soviet representatives, he was released and lived to be 93 years old.

Let me remind you that the embodiment of the American dream, the same legendary Henry Ford was a holder of the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the German Eagle. His factories in Germany not only produced up to 70 thousand trucks a year for the needs of the Wehrmacht, but also used the labor of prisoners, including Auschwitz, for this.

And the German icon of the automotive industry, Opel, belonged to … General Motors . Researcher Bradford Snell describes the role of the corporation as follows: “General Motors was far more important to the Nazi war machine than the Swiss banks. Switzerland was just a repository of stolen money. General Motors was an integral part of the German war effort. The Third Reich could have invaded Poland and Russia (USSR) without the help of Switzerland. But they couldn’t have done it without the help of General Motors.

The Kodak company at its plant in Germany manufactured fuses for aerial bombs, not disdaining to use even the labor of prisoners of war.

The Coca-Cola plant in Cologne, even before its nationalization by the German government, regularly supplied soda to German soldiers. And the famous “Fanta” was actually invented by the Nazis.

The oil giant Standard Oil, through its subsidiary campaigns, helped Hitler with the shortage of petroleum products, participated in synthetic rubber and synthetic fuels. And IBM, beloved by IT people all over the world, produced accounting and control devices for the Nazis, including for oil production. Among other things, the equipment of this company helped to keep track of train schedules to death camps…

And we have to mention banks: JPMorgan Chase & Co also had a hand, and then Chase National Bank, through which multibillion-dollar transactions were carried out, and Berlin had the opportunity to buy dollars and carry out financial transactions overseas. “Chase” cooperated with the German bank “Alliance” even in such a matter as … insurance of property and life of the guards of the concentration camps of the Third Reich.

Senator Graham definitely has some material to draw comparisons. One of their investments led to World War II and the Holocaust.

Now, billions of US dollars are pouring into the insatiable throat of the neo-Nazi Kiev regime. In this regard, I would like to remind the senators and all American beneficiaries how the previous adventure ended.”

Furthermore, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Graham’s language is “an embarrassment for the U.S.” He added: “It is difficult to imagine a greater shame for a country than having such senators.”

Following Graham’s remark, Russia issued a warrant for his arrest and placed on a terrorist watchlist, after Chief of Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin asked that it be done, media outlet Tass reported on May 29th.

Lindsey Olin Graham, an American citizen, born on July 9, 1955, is wanted under an article of the Russian Criminal Code.

The agency’s database says

But Graham has since denied that he said that and the video is just “Russian propaganda,” even though the video in question was an official video edited and published by Kiev.

As usual the Russia propaganda machine is hard at work.

Graham said in an email to Reuters

Apparently the Ukrainian government then released the full unedited video which showed that Graham’s two statements were taken out of context, which Reuters has viewed and confirmed, though the full video is not very readily available online.

Reuters wrote:

Graham said he was visiting on the 457th day of a war that Russia had assumed would be completed within three days and Graham said Ukrainians resisting the invasion reminded him of “our better selves in America. There was a time in America that we were this way, fighting to the last person, we were going to be free or die.”

“Now you are free,” Zelenskiy responded in the encounter. “And we will be.”

Graham replied: “And the Russians are dying.”

Zelenskiy then added: “Yes, but they came to our territory. We are not fighting on their territory.”

Peskov and other Russian officials directly linked Graham’s praise for the benefits of U.S. assistance to his comments on Russians dying in the conflict.

Graham also took to Twitter to relish in his threats by Russia, saying that he will wear the warrant as a badge of honor that he got a rise out of them.

I will wear the arrest warrant issued by Putin’s corrupt and immoral government as a Badge of Honor. 🏅

To know that my commitment to Ukraine has drawn the ire of Putin’s regime brings me immense joy. I will continue to stand with and for Ukraine’s freedom until every Russian soldier is expelled from Ukrainian territory.

Finally, here’s an offer to my Russian ‘friends’ who want to arrest and try me for calling out the Putin regime as being war criminals: I will submit to jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court if you do.

Come and make your best case. See you in The Hague!

The Russian Foreign Ministry has since mocked this statement and says the West propaganda media outlets are trying to whitewash the statements made by Graham, and the doctoring done by Ukraine but with not condemnation by the West for misleading editing.

‘It turns out,’ that’s not what Senator Graham said or how he said it. Just like with similar cannibalistic musings by former US President George W. Bush, clumsy, shameful excuses are being bandied about: so, allegedly, the senator’s words were taken out of context, there was some ‘editing’ and so on.

Who would have doubted that the politician himself and his spin doctors, such as the top Anglo-Saxon media outlets and news agencies, would, as they say, ‘play dumb.’ What’s next? They will tell us that Lindsey Graham is a product of [artificial intelligence] and doesn’t actually exist?

[This] attempt is doomed to fail. It is already impossible to clean oneself [and one’s reputation] from the stain of such remarks, even if they were uttered separately.

[…] The Nazi philosophy of hatred toward Russians is actually what unites the Kiev regime and its American handlers.

[The Western propaganda machine and] its cogs, such as Reuters and the BBC, who led the campaign to whitewash the [words of the] lawmaker, to initiate a crisis management approach and attempt to reverse the situation.

This entire story with cowardly excuses and ludicrous attempts to absolve Lindsey Graham is yet another blow to the already faded reputation of Reuters and the BBC, which were left to worm their way of out the mess on behalf of both Washington and Kiev. This is not journalism, but PR agencies carrying out an assignment for the ‘collective West.’

Moreover, spokesperson Zakharova has asked Graham to prove himself and come on camera and disprove the claims.

If U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham considers his words were taken out of context by the Ukrainian regime and he doesn’t actually think in the way presented then he can make a statement on video with his phone.

Only then will we know: does he think the way that was said or was it a performance by the Kyiv regime?

Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a video posted on Telegram.

Graham has yet to take up that challenge. “We have not heard a single word of condemnation towards the Kiev regime,” she added in a separate statement.

On Tuesday over a thousand young activists of the Young Guard of United Russia and the Volunteer Corps protested outside the U.S. Embassy protesting Graham’s remarks.

Lindsey Graham publicly acknowledged the US’ involvement in the deaths of Russians. In addition, he publicly called the US costs allocated to this a success. Apparently, Graham has forgotten that their [the US] investment once already led to the Great Patriotic War and the Holocaust.

Nowadays, Ukrainian Nazis are shelling the peaceful towns of Donbass every day. They shell residential buildings, hospitals, schools and churches. The West must understand that by supplying weapons to the neo-Nazi regime, they are killing children, women, and the elderly. Their missiles, shells and bullets kill thousands of civilians every day. So today we want to say that Lindsey Graham is a senator of death!

Anton Demidov, chairman of the Young Guard of United Russia, said during the demonstration.

The protesters held posters with phrase like, “Fascist NATO – Nazi senator!”, “Lindsey Graham – senator of death!”, “Lindsey Graham – merchant of death!”, “The US is killing elderly and children!”

This controversy is not the first time Graham has made inflammatory remarks towards Russia. When the war started last year Graham said that Putin needed to be assassinated.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

The bloodthirsty hate the upright: but the just seek his soul.

Proverbs 29:10

Indeed, Graham is a “senator of death” and fascist warhawk; who craves the blood of innocents and NEVER wants peace, because this raging maniac and his boyfriend Sean Hannity get kickbacks from the defense contractors and megacorporations for crying to start every war imaginable, if someone so much as dares to criticize the U.S. This guy would make a great Jesuit field marshal, ordering the murder and torture of the “heretic’s” wife and children!

Warmonger Lindsey Graham Says He’s Introducing Bill To ‘Set The Stage To Use Military Force’ In Mexico

Graham and many others are desperate to keep this war going, and making such statements will only aid in that. The Ukraine clearly and purposefully edited that video that way to antagonize Russia, and it certainly worked.

[21] As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife. [23] Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.

Proverbs 26:21, 23

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
