In celebration of International Pride Month, the company appears to have released a new limited edition cookie that says “proud” on the cookie. “We partnered with PFLAG National to create a Pride Pack that’s covered in words of love from real allies, with a space to add a message of your own, ” the brand said on its website.
Our goal is to help make the world a more accepting, affirming, and compassionate place.
OREO continues to support the LGBTQ+ community by telling their stories, spreading empathy, supporting critical programs, and encouraging allies to take a more active role in their allyship.
Oreo says on their website
PFLAG is “an org for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them, working for an equitable, inclusive world where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, celebrated, empowered and loved,” according to their Twitter biography. The group is based in Washington D.C.
Oreo partnered with PFLAG in 2022 and released a limited edition package of Oreos, decorated in Pride paraphernalia, brandishing the same “proud” inscription on the cookies.
Words of love are needed now more than ever. This pack is our love letter to the LGBTQ+ community and we hope that allies everywhere take advantage of the open space to write their own messages of support and share with family and friends.

I have not ate Oreos in a very longtime, those things are just death cookies; packed full of garbage and chemicals. So this just reaffirms that. Really anything Mondelez, Nabisco, and Kraft make should probably be avoided all together.
Furthermore, it should be noted that all standard Oreo cookies garnish the Cross of Lorraine, which was utilized by the Roman Catholic Knights Templar during their crusades in the 15th and 16th centuries. Nabisco also uses this symbol on their logo and food products as well.
Wikipedia writes: “The Lorraine cross was carried to the Crusades by the original Knights Templar, granted to them for their use by the Patriarch of Jerusalem. In the Catholic Church, an equal-armed Lorraine Cross denotes the office of archbishop. French Jesuit missionaries and settlers to the New World carried the Cross of Lorraine c. 1750–1810. The symbol was said to have helped the missionaries to convert the native peoples they encountered, because the two armed cross resembled existing local imagery.”
