UK To Send Depleted Uranium Shells To Ukraine. Putin Says They See This As Using ‘Nuclear Components’

Annabel Goldie, the U.K.’s junior Defense Minister announced that the nation will be sending depleted uranium shells for Ukrainian forces to use in battle.

Alongside our granting of a squadron of Challenger 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine, we will be providing ammunition including armour piercing rounds which contain depleted uranium. Such rounds are highly effective in defeating modern tanks and armoured vehicles.

She said in a response to a politician from the crossbench

Depleted uranium is a very toxic substance, which according to the journal Scientific American:

Used as ammunition, it penetrates the thick steel encasing enemy tanks; used as armor, it protects troops against attack. And when it was used in the Gulf War and later during the Allied bombing of Yugoslavia and Kosovo, depleted uranium (DU) was hailed as the new silver bullet that would solve most of the military’s problems.

After the end of Operation Allied Force, however, several Italian soldiers were diagnosed with leukemia. Politicians and the media soon forged a link between the disease and depleted uranium use. They further drew a parallel with Gulf War Syndrome, and in no time, depleted uranium became the Agent Orange of the Balkan conflict.

Russian officials did not take to the news very kindly.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement:

We consider the plans officially confirmed by the UK Department of Defense for the transfer of depleted uranium shells to Ukraine as a step fraught with a further escalation of the conflict.

The British supply of weapons to Kiev, especially such sensitive species, leads to further destabilization of the situation and pushes the prospect of finding mutually acceptable interruptions. They are contrary to international law.

The radioactivity, high toxicity and carcinogenicity of such weapons are well known. Among the consequences of using depleted uranium – the growth of oncological diseases among the population and the enormous environmental damage for the Ukrainian territory where it will be applied.

The civilians of Serbia and Iraq, who still feel the impact of such actions, can tell about all this. It is unlikely that the leadership of the UK itself, which was directly involved in these conflicts, forgot about this.

Obviously, the British made a choice in favor of causing destruction and maximum damage to the population of the front regions. An additional cynicism is given to the reasoning of the British leadership on their readiness to contribute to the “restoration of Ukraine.”

In general, another evidence was received that Ukraine for Great Britain – is nothing more than a landfill for confrontation with our country.

By the way, it is naïve to believe that only those against whom all this will be used will become victims. In Yugoslavia, NATO soldiers, in particular the Italians, were the first to suffer. Then they tried for a long time to get compensation from NATO for lost health. But their claims were denied.

When will they wake up in Ukraine?… Their benefactors poison them.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also responded to this move, and said that if this is allowed to happen, they will respond accordingly and view this as using nuclear weaponry.

I would like to note that if this happens, then Russia will be forced to react accordingly, bearing in mind that the collective West has already started to use weapons with a nuclear component.

The stage is once again being set to further draw us all closer into full-blown cataclysmic warfare. Now only is depleted uranium super toxic, and not only irradiates the environment, causing both ally and opposition troops to suffer – if Putin and Russian authorities view this as using nuclear against them, and they will ‘act accordingly,’ it only means Russia and China will be gearing up to seriously fight back against this.

As I have reported and warned about before, a false flag is coming to truly get the U.S. and NATO directly involved in this, far more than we already have.
