The WinePress detailed this first wave of protests that began in June of last year. Farmers would persistently berate their many leaders for trying to strip away their livelihoods, and would ultimately cripple the food supply in The Netherlands and parts of Europe. The protestors eventually started to turn violent as police began to aggressively arrest some protestors, some were shot at even, as crisis actors were also routinely spotted as well to make the protestors look like violent criminals. Some groups would blockade food distribution sites and dump manure on the streets and on the lawns of the politician’s homes.
Nevertheless the government has not received this message and has continued to stand resolute in meeting their targets. But the farmers are not backing down either, and last week the farmers began to reengage with a new round of protests and demonstrations.
They are calling themselves the Farmers Defense Force.
But the government was not pleased and actually threatened to deter the protestors with military force.
On March 6th Mayor Jan van Zanen of The Hague said that he would consider sending the army and heavy military equipment to remove tractors and other vehicles that were expected to arrive in The Hague that weekend, the NL Times reported, in a similar fashion to the Canadian Freedom Trucker movement in 2022.
I am not going to rule out the possibility that Defense equipment will be deployed. That is available if necessary.
We cannot handle this alone. Also to ensure that the demonstrations are safe.
He said in an interview with De Telegraaf. He has also asked police forces elsewhere in the country to provide officers to assist.
The Counter Signal would later report that heavy military vehicles blocked tractors from entering the city as multiple arrests were made.
Be that as it may the turnout was still quite large.
Eva Vlaardingerbroek, a prominent activist and supporter the farmer’s resistance, said in a statement on social media:
We are fighting against a corrupt and unjust government.
For centuries, our farmers have produced food for millions of people worldwide. And instead of what those liars in The Hague claim, they have done so in a responsible and sustainable way.
But our cabinet doesn’t care about nature. They have simply created a lie to steal our farmers’ land.
She said
Elon Musk responded to the post asking what the protestors were seeking.
Currently there are ongoing elections in The Netherlands that could ultimately decide the fate of this nitrogen emissions bill. Protestors also showed up at the statehouse to blockade many of the politicians inside as well.
The NL Times explains more of what the candidates are debating concerning these climate bills, which have became the main argument of contention for the parties:
The party leaders who participated in the final debate before the Provincial Council elections were trapped in the provincial house in Den Bosch for around 30 minutes after the debate on Tuesday evening. The security services considered it not safe for them to leave due to hundreds of farmers and tractors gathered outside the provincial house to protest, AD reports.
The honking of tractors could be heard throughout the debate, according to the newspaper. About 500 people stood in front of the building with flags, fireworks, and upside-down flags, a spokesperson for the provincial house said. Tractors were parked in all the streets around the building.
The security services, therefore, decided to ask the 250 people who attended the debate to wait inside the building while they cleared a path for them. “If the security people say that it is not safe to go outside, then I listen to them,” PvdD leader Esther Ouwehand said on the television program Op1 afterward. The party leaders and spectators were allowed to leave about half an hour later.
The Debate
The final debate was organized by broadcaster NOS and happened on the eve of the Provincial Council and water board elections. In the debate, national politicians Mark Rutte (VVD), Jesse Klaver (GroenLinks), Thierry Baudet (FvD), Joost Eerdmans (JA21), Attje Kuiken (PvdA), Lilian Marijnissen (SP), Wopke Hoekstra (CDA), Geert Wilders (PVV), Mirjam Bikker (ChristenUnie) Esther Ouwehand (PvdD), Sigrid Kaag (D66), and Caroline van der Plas (BBB) tried to sway voters to their side.
PvdD leader Ouwehand clashed with BBB leader Van der Plas when she said that half of the land in the Netherlands was “confiscated” by livestock farming, NOS reports. Van der Plas called the use of that term polarizing. “It’s just land owned by farmers who have been farming there for years, sometimes for centuries,” she said.
The BBB leader argued for a long-term vision for space in the Netherlands. “Who needs what space in 2050?” She thinks this spacial planning should happen in “regional agreement,” with the implementation left entirely to the provinces, where agriculture has the biggest lobbying influence, as NRC recently pointed out.
D66 leader Kaag stressed that the Netherlands is in an acute crisis where the climate is concerned, and that requires immediate action. To solve the nitrogen problem, livestock must be halved, she said. The government made 24 billion euros available for farmers to stop voluntarily. But if not enough farmers volunteer, expropriation may have to be an option, she said.
Previous debates showed that Kaag’s coalition partners disagree with her on this point. The CDA and ChristeUnie, in particular, said that the target of halving nitrogen emissions by 2030 is open for discussion.
PvdA leader Kuiken clashed with FvD leader Baudet. According to Baudet, the government takes land from farmers to use it for solar panels and wind turbines in the fight against climate change, which he thinks humans have no influence on anyway. “Mr. Baudet has never seen a farmer up close. Maybe he has a pair of brown boots at home,” Kuiken snapped at him.
After the debate, she said she maybe shouldn’t have made that comparison to Nazi boots, but she stands with the content. Kuiken called Baudet a danger to democracy because he spreads conspiracy theories that result in journalists and scientists being threatened. “The party is getting smaller but no less dangerous,” the PvdA leader said.
PVV leader Wilders and Prime Minister Rutte (VVD) clashed about Netherlands residents’ waning confidence in politics and the government. According to Wilders, that is primarily Rutte’s fault. “You’ve done too much damage,” he said.
Rutte retaliated by pointing out that the country emerged from the economic crisis under his leadership. “And what have you done?” he asked Wilders. “Your positions have become more and more extreme. You are on the flanks and do not participate.”
Unfortunately for the protestors, it seems they could not influence enough of a change. In a recent post on Twitter Eva Vlaardingerbroek said,
Really bad news. The first election results are in: The ruling parties suffered some losses, but with the help of the Labour Party and the green-left they will still be able to form a majority in the Senate to pass the nitrogen policies, including expropriation.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
It should be noted that the Dutch government has been going all-in to push the fake meat alternatives as well, and forcing schoolchildren to eat bugs. A city in The Netherlands also became the first in the world last year to ban meat advertising.
And, interestingly enough, the place where the Dutch government has been wanting to sequester some of the farmer’s land is where developers have been quietly trying to build a new interconnect smart city.
[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:1-5
While it is good to see there are plenty of farmers and people standing against this tyranny, believing and having faith in the voting system – after everything the world has been through these last several years – is so foolish and vain. The voting system is rigged against the common people. “It’s a big club and you ain’t in it!” Showing up in large numbers changes nothing. And of course getting violent will just trigger martial law and severe punishment.
Simply put: the people must repent towards the Lord Jesus Christ and return to righteousness. Period. The end. Done. Over. Out. Anything less than that will not suffice. But since that is not going to happen, expect no changes and more tyranny to ensue.
[9] By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. [12] There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. [13] Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. Job 35:9-13

My last salary was $8750, ecom only worked 12 hours a week. My longtime neighbor estimated $15,000 and works about 20 hours for seven days. r4 I can’t believe how blunt he was when I looked up his information See My Name Check Visit,
What with the craft of ‘signature reduction’ agents with their faux identities & ability to impersonate, to smear & to accuse ….aided by AI & deep fakes etc: smearing & accusing even & especially the brethren yet wrapped in corruptible flesh, & the God & Gospel they point toward: we may never again know or be able to trust any communication but that of the word of God. Even more so now than in previous times.

God will not bless ‘the People’ centered incorporation of humanism & craft idolatries, anymore than he will the despotic (both arms of the same idol beast system). All of this is consequential judgment & corrupt as God removes his hand & mercy from those rejecting his Gospel, word & even evident truth. A final appeal to conscience to repent, God pleading with flesh: but men are turning & being turned from uniting in truth to repentance & God to the fornicating union & harlot body of the counterfeit & antichrist. When he who letteth is also removed, the real woes begin. Folks need to make their calling & election sure, along with the transferring of their citizenship from this dying to the eternal.
This just confirms that the events in East Palestine, Ohio are leading up to a major US land grab. It has to be carried out a little more sneaky (health concerns) than in Europe because at least we still have our guns and, evidently, enough people left who won’t crumble into a heap over “climate change” or allow themselves to be lectured by odious little brats like “Greta”.
They can be a little more tyrannical in Europe since the citizens had the fight taken out of them in the last century, along with their means to defend their properties. I pray for the Lord’s faithful remnant who believe His words.
