Whether he meant to say that or not, it is rather interesting that he did, because his foundation has done exactly that: he has reduced people’s health and he’s worked to teardown the West whilst further harming the people in third-world countries.

After listening to Bill Gates again I think he said The Gates Foundation is an organization aimed at reducing health inequity not health and equity. It’s just the way he pronounced inequity may have sounded like “and equity”. I don’t think he misspoke in this case.

I listened to Gates a few times. How he articulated that was closer to sounding as “enekwiti” instead of “inekweti”, so I believe he did say “reducing health and equity”. Funny too that he said, “people don’t have to pay attention…”.
