“I have a Ukrainian flag tied to my bag, but I’m not like ‘oh my God, Ukraine is so awesome,’ because I understand that there are plenty of f*****-up people running Ukraine.”

Founder of the private military group Mozart Group, Ret Col Andrew Milburn revealed in a podcast last month that the Ukraine is run by a lot of corrupt leaders and is a “f*****-up society,” per his time in the country training Ukrainian forces to fight against Russia.

Milburn was a guest on The Team House podcast a month ago but did not receive a lot of attention. However Max Blumenthal of The Grayzone News spliced together a handful of clips of Milburn’s comments on the war this week.

Blumenthal pointed out in a Twitter thread that Milburn is cited by The New York Times for being ‘all-in’ on dumping more money and weaponry to Ukraine, claiming that the Biden administration is purposefully withholding its best weapons because he is trying to appease Americans whilst still trying to help Ukraine in some capacity. The NYT describes Milburn as being “driven by the same pro-Ukrainian spirit that has put yellow and blue flags flying across the Western world.”

Howbeit during the interview Milburn said Ukraine is a “corrupt, f*****-up society,” and that he is “no fan of Ukraine.” He also noted it also run by “f*****-up people.”

I have a Ukrainian flag tied to my bag, but I’m not like ‘oh my God, Ukraine is so awesome,’ because I understand that there are plenty of f*****-up people running Ukraine.

He said

He also explained how that Ukrainian forces have routinely broken the vows of the Hague convention on the laws of armed conflict, where the troops are filming interrogations of Russian prisoners of war (POWs) and executing them as well.

“We’ve been shown those videos plenty of times,” he said, and that “there were plenty” of war crimes being committed by Ukrainian militias and “all kinds of atrocities to go around.”

He did note, however, that he and his trainers found that most of the people they dealt with were “very professional,” and did not commit such as heinous acts.

Bearing all this mind, Milburn still says the U.S. must continue to support Ukraine claiming it is to uphold “global norms,” noting that the whole point was “not about Ukraine.”

RT added that ‘Back in August, Milburn was quoted by CBS news in a since-deleted report that revealed how Western-supplied weapons were disappearing in Ukraine and popping up on the black market. Recently, he was also quoted by Newsweek in a report revealing that the Ukrainian military was seeing casualty rates of 70% or more, contrary to official Kiev’s claims.’

The reaction to Milburn’s admissions were mixed. Many said that they did not care if Ukraine is committing war crimes and that their actions are justified because of Russia’s invasion. Others did not condone the endless spending and coddling to Ukraine, with one such commentor sarcastically writing: “My favorite part is when he said he supports war criminals because of international norms.”

The WinePress has noted in many different reports that the mainstream and alterative narrative surrounding Ukraine is completely opposite of reality, as much of the brutality has come from the plenteous amount of Neo-Nazis killing and terrorizing their own people and lashing out against Russia, along with the Ukrainian military using their people as living shields to prevent Russia from making more quicker and effective attacks; while Russia has been forced to make more selective targeting and perform mop-up duty of the situation.

I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

Jeremiah 23:14

‘Hey, this place and people are rotten to the core, but they’re mostly “professional” and we need to keep sending more of your taxpayer’s money there anyways.’

Of course, people like him want this to continue and be prolonged because it makes him more money.

Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.

Psalm 68:30

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
