United Kingdom Announces 10-Year Partnership With Moderna To Produce Hundreds Of Millions Of MRNA Vaccines Annually To Prevent ‘Future Pandemics’

Yesterday the United Kingdom announced that have agreed to a new 10-year contract with pharmaceutical giant Moderna further research and develop new mRNA-based vaccines, which includes building a “state-of-the-art vaccine manufacturing centre with the ability to produce up to 250 million vaccines a year.”

Richard Torbett, Chief Executive, Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), called this “fantastic news” and that this has the great possibility of being “a key growth driver for the UK economy.”

More specifically mRNA Covid vaccines will be produced, along with flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) – which are the three diseases the media has been warning about these past two months, calling it a “tripledemic.”

The British Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said in their press release this new “Partnership will create more than 150 jobs and further future-proof the UK against potential pandemics, with patients to benefit from speedy access to the latest advancements in vaccine technology.”

Patients in the UK will be protected against potential future global health threats, including potential pandemics, thanks to a deal struck between the government and Moderna.

More specifically, this partnership is really headed-up by the Vaccine Taskforce, which announced that this research and development facility would be opened in June of this year.

The government hopes to be producing roughly 250 million new mRNA vaccines each year, via the construction of a new Innovation and Technology Centre. They report that construction of this new facility will begin by early next year, though production is not expected to begin until 2025.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) working with Moderna to “ensure early vaccine development, supporting the G7 mission to get from variant to vaccine in 100 days,” the DHSC said. They add that this new deal will allow patients to have quick and easy access to new Covid vaccines “that can protect against multiple variants,” which will be administered via the National Health Service (NHS). Other vaccines for other diseases are also planned to be created in the future.

“Developing vaccines on UK shores means it will be able to scale up production rapidly in the event of a health emergency, significantly boosting our ability to respond to future pandemics,” the DHSC added.

President Joe Biden reiterated for the third time last week that “surely” there will be “another pandemic.”

Steve Barclay, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, said in a statement:

This time 2 years ago, the UK was the first country in the world to administer a COVID vaccine outside of a clinical trial. Since then, countless lives have been saved across the world and more than 150 million doses have been given in the UK alone.

It is vital we invest in fighting future variants of this disease as well as other deadly viruses that are circulating, such as seasonal flu and RSV, and this partnership with Moderna will also strengthen our ability to respond to any future pandemics.

By boosting our onshore vaccine manufacturing capability, we are a step closer to becoming the leading global hub for life sciences. This partnership will support our crucial mission to protect the people of the UK and across the world through the development of revolutionary vaccines and research.

Stéphane Bancel, Chief Executive Officer of Moderna, also weighed-in on this news, saying:

Our new state-of-the-art facility will bring mRNA manufacturing to UK shores, providing the UK public with access to pandemic response capabilities through Moderna COVID-19 vaccines and future respiratory virus vaccine candidates.

We look forward to being part of the UK’s world-renowned science and innovation community, contributing to the UK health ecosystem through significant investments in R&D activities and expanding our clinical trial footprint across the country.

Roughly two weeks prior to Moderna initiating early talks to construct a unique vaccine facility in the U.K., Bancel lamented during a World Economic Forum summit meeting in Davos that his company was forced to trash 30 million doses of their Covid vaccine because “Nobody wants them.”

Furthermore, in October Bancel also discussed in an interview that Moderna was currently developing a new mRNA vaccine that is directly injected into the heart, in order to prevent heart attacks and other vascular diseases:

In their press release, the U.K. government went on to praise mRNA technology, and how it is “highly effective” and “pivotal” in saving lives.

mRNA technology has proven to be one of the fastest routes to develop highly effective vaccines during the pandemic and has been pivotal in protecting people. It has the potential to be a transformative breakthrough technology in a number of disease areas, including cancer, respiratory illnesses and heart disease. mRNA vaccines also have the potential to treat multiple pathogens in a single shot. 

The DHSC added

Moderna refers to their mRNA tech as “the software of life,” among other terms, where they describe it as “hacking” a computer.

I wanted to be sure to include John Campbell’s video as well, because if you watch it he’s snippy and upset at this news. But this is the same Campbell that was cheerleading the vaccines since day one, getting both the required two and a booster. He enticed millions of his followers to get the death shot.
