According to the politician making these proposals, this is what he calls “the least evil route.”

The Netherlands’ government will not budge. Ever since the beginning of this summer Dutch farmers and protestors have been taking to the streets to protest the proposals to seize control of hundreds of acres of farmer’s land, and to euthanize a huge chunk of livestock, in a bid to meet their arbitrary climate goals by 2030.

The WinePress reported on many of those protests and demonstrations, and counteractions by the government and police:

But now many of these farmers are threatening to intensify their plight if their demands are not met, after the government is now threatening to sequester roughly 600 farms within this next year to meet their goals, and by force if necessary.

Johan Remkes, one of these “nitrogen brokers” apart of the Dutch national government, according Dutch outlet NOS, has spoken about going after these “peak loaders,” he calls them. This is a term he used to describe 500 to 600 farms – primarily livestock and ranching farms – that are close to Natura 2000 areas, and reportedly have more emissions than desired. Remkes and others wants these farms relocated or outright removed.

According to him, this is what he calls “the least evil route.” He claims that these 600 farms yet only constitute 1% of the total number of farms in The Netherlands.

NOS added this (translated from Dutch to English):

He wants to bet as much as possible on a generous arrangement for voluntary buy-out. But if there is insufficient enthusiasm for this, he believes that compulsory stopping is also an option. This means that eventually permits may have to be revoked. Remkes sees that means as “a big stick behind the door”.

Remkes further writes that he does not want to let go of the year 2030 yet. He finds it “necessary” to work with a deadline. He does want to see whether the nitrogen reduction can be achieved everywhere at two moments, in 2025 and 2028. As far as he is concerned, it can then still be decided to take more time in some cases for “imperative substantive reasons”. Political considerations should not play a role in this, he emphasizes.

Remkes states in his report that the controversial nitrogen map, which Minister Van der Wal presented in June, must be dropped. That card, which according to Remkes was wrongly presented as “an absolute and detailed wisdom”, caused a lot of unrest.

He also believes that the critical deposition value (kdw), which measures the maximum amount of nitrogen that may end up in a nature reserve, should eventually disappear from the law. Much more attention needs to be paid to the state of nature and what is possible in certain areas.

He also wants a real vision on what the Netherlands wants to do with the agricultural sector in the future. The criticism of many farmers is that the government has so far not offered them the promised perspective. Remkes envisions “a flourishing agricultural sector”, but with fewer agricultural companies. He hopes that there will be room for “new forms of agriculture”, which are more in line with the requirements in the areas of climate, animal welfare, water, soil, health and culture.

In his view, measures must now also be taken quickly for other sectors, such as industry and mobility. He believes that the focus has so far been too much on the farming sector, which has left some of the farmers feeling “suppressed as a loser”. Remkes said he was shocked “by the genuine despair that could be seen in the eyes of reasonable people”.

Remkes was appointed to restore trust between farmers, nature organizations and the government. He states that this is not yet back and that it will not happen in an instant. He predicts that his report will not be enthusiastically received by the agricultural sector, nature organizations or the cabinet. But he wants to tell the honest story and that, according to him, is that nitrogen measures have been pushed forward too long and that far too much nitrogen is still being emitted.

Naturally farmers and those agricultural sector are not happy about this news, and have threatened to reup the protests if these proposals are not dropped.

The expropriation of farmers must be taken off the table. We will not allow enforced buyouts to happen.

Mark van den Oever of Farmers’ Defence Force said after the government-appointed negotiator, Johan Remkes, published his recommendations over a couple of weeks ago.

Dutch reporter Eva Vlaardingerbroek spoke with GBN News and gave her reasons why she thinks this is happening, with one of them being to inadvertently deal with the influx immigrants the government allows to come in each year:

There is no space left in the Netherlands. So, what will they need to do? They will need to seize some of the land of these farmers in order to house new Dutch people, the newcomers to our country. So, that is what this is really about.

And of course, there’s also the element of our elites not wanting us to have independence or control over our food supply and they obviously also don’t want us to eat meat. So, the farmers are standing in the way of their plans and that’s why they’re being targeted right now.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

1 Timothy 4:1-5

For all intents and purposes, the farmers have displayed that they will not backdown and not give the government an inch – which is certainly great and admirable.

However, 1 Timothy 4 says what it says. And the two theories I have (or three if you combine both) is that another shamdemic will be launched, this one specifically targeting livestock, which will justify the mass culling of livestock, wildlife, and even pets. The other one is the coming debt implosion and collapse of Western economies. I have been sounding the alarm on this eventuality for some time now, and when the levy bursts, people will be brought to their knees – groveling to the government for help, as society completely collapses, which is what the elites want.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Folks need to research the Dutch history with euthanasia & immigration, including using immigrant women in their legalized sex trade. We knew of these things decades ago, & people were trying to warn. It was confusing because you had the type of ‘missionary’ who was all on about how a unifying Europe made ‘evangelism’ easy and so forth…..who wouldn’t talk about these things, denied them etc…….and the few biblical ‘extremists’ trying to raise the alarm, to question the narrative of tolerance and progressivism.

There’s all this hatred & blame for America, but Europe was way ahead of us on these things, including the demoralization of the people, removing them from biblical knowledge of God & back toward the darkness of mystical craft, humanist MYSTERY & tyranny, the heavy yoke, the false freedom of licentiousness with its vomit and wallows. The wars were part of it. Those who used American liberty & infrastructure for cover had to do so carefully, and to move Christians from the King James & use gradualism, the darkness of the foundations & ngo cover, off-shore U.N. meetings like Rio, etc before they could begin to openly take America, too. Then they blame those deceived & used, & God, like that old accuser of the brethren they serve, & justify their own thieving & lying & murders as he, as well. But they forget the mercies & judgment of God. Better a chastened child than to go on presuming & deceived in pride, thinking oneself to be something: a winner, a ‘survivor’, a ‘god’….only to look upon that worm trusted in the end narrowly, being found a spiritual bastard oneself.

  • “forced to sell their land.”… I’m currently reading about how King Charles did “forced laons” on his people. Give me money or go to jail… wonder how things faired with King Charlie?
