Today it was revealed that legislators in the state of California have voted ban the sale of all gas and diesel vehicles by the year 2035. Instead, all cars must be ‘zero-emission vehicles.’

Governor Gavin Newsom’s climate advisor Lauren Sanchez, said this move is “a huge day not only for California but the entire world.” She added that the mission is to “move the state away from oil.”

California Bans Gas-Powered Lawn Mowers, Chain Saws, And Leaf Blowers, Furthering Agenda 2030

The Los Angeles Times writes, ‘The mandate forces automakers to phase out gasoline and diesel cars, sport utility vehicles, minivans and pickup trucks in favor of cleaner versions powered by batteries or fuel cells. If automakers fall short, they could be charged $20,000 per noncomplying vehicle, the air resources board said. If consumers don’t go along? That could cause big problems. But state officials think they will, and the trend line lends confidence.’

Hence forth, by 2026, 35% of vehicles must be zero emissions, 68% by 2030, and 100% fives year after that.

The LA Times acknowledges that people could purchase combustion cars in other states, though, they claim their neighboring states usually follow their lead in terms of automotive and emission-related mandates. Also, the current law does not prevent people from still owning gas-powered vehicles, nor prevents citizens from buying or selling used ones. Semis and large trucks typically found on highways will be given more time to phase out, as proposals for levying restrictions on those trucks would not reach emissions goals by 2045.

‘And even the zero-emission vehicle mandate includes vehicles that are not zero-emission. Up to 20% of a carmaker’s sales can be plug-in hybrids, which have both electric motors and gas engines, and still count as zero-emission vehicles, as long as the battery range is 50 miles or more,’ the LA Times notes.

In a statement following the ruling, Ford said that “combatting climate change is a strategic priority,” and that the company is “proud of our partnership with California for stronger vehicle emissions standards, forged during a time when climate action was under attack.”

But The LA Times also notes that electric cars cost more than the conventional ones. Kelley Blue Book says that EVs cost $66,000 on average in July, versus $48K for gas-powered cars.

The Times added, ‘In a presentation to reporters, air resource board officials pointed to studies that show savings in fuel and maintenance can make an EV a better financial deal over time, and that prices would continue to drop. That’s not certain, however. Supply chain snags and shortages of critical battery materials such as lithium and cobalt have cut back EV availability while boosting purchase price.’

CARB board Chair Liane Randolph said, “We understand that not everyone can buy a new car,” pointing to preexisting state programs for financial aid. The mandates also enforces that different tiers of warranty protection for EV batteries and similar components will be required, which will cost add money for the manufacturers and dealers.

We just want to make sure that as we proceed along this path, we’re all working together to answer all these question.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Proverbs 29:2

The sole purpose of this move is to further accelerate the economic destruction in this country, and overloading the grid, that’s it. This nation will not even be around long enough for them to be fulfilled. Moreover, The WinePress has already noted many times over that the real goal by 2030 is a flat-out elimination of the private ownership of any vehicle, per an essay from the World Economic Forum:

Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city – or should I say, “our city”. I don’t own anything. I don’t own a car. I don’t own a house. I don’t own any appliances or any clothes.

It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city. Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily lives. One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much.

First communication became digitized and free to everyone. Then, when clean energy became free, things started to move quickly. Transportation dropped dramatically in price. It made no sense for us to own cars anymore, because we could call a driverless vehicle or a flying car for longer journeys within minutes. We started transporting ourselves in a much more organized and coordinated way when public transport became easier, quicker and more convenient than the car. Now I can hardly believe that we accepted congestion and traffic jams, not to mention the air pollution from combustion engines. What were we thinking?

Moreover, The WP has noted how the United Nations and other countries are already looking to ban private ownership of vehicles, and get all used vehicles off the streets completely.

This will surely spread to other states as car manufacturers will really start to devote their scarce resources into developing these cars. Give it some time and they’ll be begging the government for more money to pay for the costs of it – which means you’ll be paying for a car you’ll never own.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • When is the catching up going to be? I’m so vexed by what’s happening and I’m simultaneously vexed and thankful at the destruction and judgement befalling America.

If I can ask the LORD for just ONE thing:

Just a woman who is my age and wants to be or is already a King James Bible believer and can be my loving and helping companion. That’s all.

    • Philippians 1:21 KJV- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
Titus 2:13 KJV- looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

You’re on my prayer list brother.

    • 1 John 4:19 KJV- We love him, because he first loved us.

If you put the Lord first, Lord willing, if it is your calling he may bestow a wife upon you as you may know.

  • I believe that these electric cars will be fried by the EMP/HEMP attacks. When an EMP/HEMP attack occurs, ALL electronics will be rendered useless because the electrical circuits are fried by the electromagnetic pulse.

    • So, an EMP would fry anything with electronic components, right? What are we talking ’70’s, ’80’s models being the only things running…or up to 2000 or so?

I made it my mission & priority to get as much curricula & hard copy disappearing information as possible to pass on to family, both blood & spiritual….some years back. No way can I preserve anything near what the total of knowledge now digitalized & available, but I’m not the only one. Because digital is so notoriously unstable & easily controlled, it seems that at some point only elites will have access to it, or many of the other things we take for granted in free nations having been influenced by the King James Bible. What’s difficult is finding those who will value such things, but I believe that as the Lord preserved his word down through the long Dark Ages & along the trail of blood, he will preserve his word & truth again & until he’s here to reign & rule, the word & truth in person.

I get the general gist of the famine of the word prophesied in Amos 7 caused by the versions & confusion, the ban on the word in certain nations, the great delusion ….but have generally considered the absolute fulfillment to be after the rapture & during the time of Jacob’s trouble, necessitating the witnesses from Jerusalem and the angels with the everlasting gospel. For so long as there are members of the body of Christ & he who letteth is here….the King James Bible will also, of necessity, be. Would love to hear more teaching or thoughts on this by the brethren.
