Germans Are Taking Less Showers Amidst Skyrocketing Inflation And Energy Crisis

Germany, home to Europe’s largest economy, is rapidly facing increasing issues with prices of everything exploding.

The WinePress has reported on some of these issues facing Germany and NATO-based nations, as they are being battered by their restrictions Russia, and Russia’s counter-measures, that are ultimately their nation:

Now Germans are being forced to cutback in some areas of the daily lives.

Citing a survey per a German outlet, Summit News reported that 62% of respondents have reduced their shower time and are showering less in general from just a few weeks ago, while another 35% have not made any real changes to their routines.

Those in the lower income brackets were those more likely to make these types of hygiene adjustments.

Summit News added that the German outlet Bild, ran a headline last month that claimed that showering and bathing less makes you smell better.

‘Almost half of respondents (45%) also said they were making preparations for a difficult winter, such as buying an emergency power generator,’ Summit News wrote.

As noted in prior WP articles, Germans are already buying up on supplies for this winter, anticipating that it will be a cold one.

Summit News also reported two weeks ago that Germans are planning on using sports arenas and other public areas as “warm-up” stations. Other organizations have advocated and urged local municipalities to create “heat islands” and “warm rooms, where people can stay, even during a very cold winter.”

As the energy crisis continues to whip Germany and most of Europe, the people are going to have to make all kinds of cuts in their daily lives. And because of the current crisis, I have been warning readers to seriously start buying up on winter supplies (detached from the grid system) in early summer before supplies are gone. Don’t be lazy.

The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.

I must add as well, that while the governments around the world certainly do share the blame for a lot of the problems around the world, no doubt, the people’s addictive consumerism and covetousness cannot be ignored. People continue to drain their wallets and increase how much debt they are in on a routine basis, just so they can maintain the illusion of this fake lifestyle: to boast on social media, brag to their neighbors, to feel entitled and inflate their egos; while feeding their chronic habitual spending and lust for junk they do need, a lifestyle they think they want and deserve but do not.

There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.
