CNN is now promoting the same thing.

Last week the New York state senate passed a new gun law that requires gun-permit applicants to provide three years worth of information from their social media accounts and give references about their personality.

This new gun law was voted on during an emergency secession after the Supreme Court ruled that allows New Yorkers to apply for concealed-carry permits.

Supreme Court Rules Gun Owners Can Carry Their Weapons In Public

In response to the Supreme Court’s ruling, Governor Kathy Hochul signed the bill that levies restrictions on areas where these permits are permitted. Guns cannot be carried into schools and other government buildings.

I refuse to surrender my right as governor to protect New Yorkers from gun violence.

What we are doing here is adapting our ability to protect citizens of the state based on changing circumstances. They sometimes are telegraphing their intent to cause harm to others, and we saw that in Buffalo. The evidence was there, the trail was there. Shame on us as a state if we don’t learn from those experiences.

Hochul said, per The Albany Times-Union.

For further context the Trends Journal noted, ‘Hochul addressed reporters after the vote and said the social media background checks were inspired by recent shootings. She pointed to posts from the Buffalo shooter who killed 10 black people at a supermarket in the city on May 14th.’

‘The shooter faces hate crimes because he used the internet to post about his plans. He also had a history of voicing concerns about black people “replacing white people and eliminating the white race, and to inspire others to commit similar racially-motivated attacks,” the complaint read, according to NPR,’ the Journal added.

The big question is what “government official” gets to decide what social media posts are deemed acceptable and which ones are not. Presumably, someone who posted positively about the 6 January riot at the Capitol would be barred, while Hunter Biden, who was reportedly seen waving an “illegally obtained .38” while fooling around with a prostitute would be fine.

The Trends Journal asked

New York has set a precedent for a new wave of background checks and gun reform.

CNN Newsroom co-host Alisyn Camerota asked on Tuesday, “is it too much to ask the gun seller to do a cursory check on social media?”

Former FBI supervisory special agent Steve Moore explained that privacy laws still exist and it is the duty of retailers to profile Americans.

They’re not really allowed to, in some ways. They are retail merchants.

The gatekeepers are the government, essentially. It is not the retail establishment.

Moore stated, comparing this to a hypothetical situation of a liquor store owner asking to see a customer’s social media before selling the booze.

Camerota then asked former Philadelphia police commissioner Charles Ramsey, “Is there no such thing as a database where a gun seller can look to see if somebody’s recently, in the past day, purchased an AR-15? Would that help, commissioner?”

Where’s the law that says you can’t buy, you know, guns in different places? I mean, we need to really sit and think through what we want. What’s the balance?

Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.

Proverbs 29:8

The liberal states continue to get even more ‘libby,’ while red states are beginning to really expand their gun laws. For that matter, the divide in this country continues to get worse and worse by the day on practical every topic of discussion.

Congress Passes New Gun Safety Reform, Sends Bill To Biden To Sign

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Hopefully, law abiding, honest, moral, and hopefully coming to repentance and the King James Bible will be able to get themselves a firearm.
New York has turned into a spiritual, physical, and mental sewer pit that is profane and devilish in every which direction. Sodomite central!
I’m thinking that a category five hurricane will be paying the Big Apple a visit.

    • I am making $162/hour telecommuting. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $21 thousand a month cdc11 by working on the web, that was truly shocking for me, she prescribed me to attempt it simply ,

New York is a satanic, devilish cesspool. Also where Hillsong America is located. So Carl Lentz, how’s that new hip modern “Christianity” working for ya?
*a bunch of sodomites and leftist Christ rejecting devil possessed idiots and some cross-dressing 35 year old male sodomite who’s walking around in a shiny golden dress, spiked pump heels, long hair possibly a wig, and smeared with makeup is walking the streets
    Yeah, I didn’t think so.

    • Another Abe shot dead? You can’t make this stuff up. The Druckerites will have a field day. I wonder what that Canadian one worlder humanist & influencer ‘truther’ who moved to Japan has to say about it? His name will come to me after awhile. Is it Tim something? Or Jim? James Corbett, that’s it. Blind to Christ, but noting & documenting wickedness many wink at.

As for hate: All men hate. They just hate different things. And manipulative sorcerers of MYSTERY schooled in the arts of persuasion, initiation, extortion etc are very good at identifying & manipulating sin (other than their own which they deny as ‘gods’), like the master & spirit they serve. Another regime change on the horizon & more instability in China’s backyard. How handy.

  • Unconstitutionality aside, this law will not be used to stop criminals, terrorist, or gangsters. It will be used to stop good citizens from buying a gun, first and foremost those who appose the political party in power and secondly those whom the government in New York wishes to oppress.

And it’s possible for the government to create a fake social media account in your own name to serve their narrative, if common trolls can do this all the time you can bet the Government will begin to do it if it’s expedient for it’s proposes.

And it will not be used to just determine who can and cannot own a gun, soon you’ll find this law being used to haul people off to jail, and giving the ability to create fake social media accounts of the targeted person, well…you can use your imagination of what tall-tails they’ll make up to take down their target.

  • I don’t care if “They” pass gas. I just don’t give a sh-t anymore. “They” don’t OWN me and NEVER will.

  • Employers, ‘educators’, and many other initiated, sorted & tapped for advancement have been doing that since Facebook became ‘a thing’, & with media sources ‘leaking’ the earlier forerunner social media platforms like myspace etc, covert agencies using backdoor access to such information in the name of ‘national security’. Officially they ‘weren’t allowed’, but who could prove it wasn’t done? This is just a formality, & open acknowledgement now that it’s too late to do much.
