“Proteins from plants commonly display inferior digestibility compared to their animal counterparts.”

A new study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry reveals that plant-based meats are not as easily digested in the body, therefore way less nutritious because the body cannot properly absorb the patty’s nutrients.

The WinePress has reported on the health effects of plant-based meats. One study showed that when the infamous Impossible Meat patty was fed to rats, the rodents developed inflammation and kidney disease in weeks, and the potential for anemia. Another study examined how real meats are much more easily digestible and contain significantly much more important fatty and amino acids.

This more recent study conducted by a team of researchers at The Ohio State University, reveal that our cells have a much more difficult time absorbing the proteins from the heavily processed plant-based meats.

The ever-growing population on earth has increased the challenge of providing sufficient proteins from meat without compromising the ecosystem.

Additionally, concerns about food security and the awareness of a healthy diet have shifted the focus from traditional meat products toward plant protein-based meat analogues (MAs),” the researcher continues.

The latter contain abundant proteins and negligible saturated fat and cholesterol, contributing to a reduced occurrence of obesity and cardiovascular diseases. Nevertheless, proteins from plants commonly display inferior digestibility compared to their animal counterparts. This adds uncertainty to the nutritional value of proteins in MAs unless the gap between digestion and absorption is bridged.

Corresponding author Professor Osvaldo Campanella, according to a statement from SWNS, reported by Study Finds

Many plant-based meats take these plants, which are usually heavily genetically modified, usually soybeans which are high in protein – are dehydrated and turned into powders, mixed with seasonings. These formulas are then cooked, moistened, and then processed even further.

Companies like Impossible Meat assert that their product is not only more sustainable than real meats, but has more protein with less fats that are frowned upon by the majority of doctors and leading medical authorities.

For the experiment, the team created their own plant-based meat substance made from soy and wheat gluten to simulate faux chicken with a manufacturing machine called an extruder. The researchers also used a real piece of chicken as a comparison. They researchers then ground up the meats broke them down with digestive enzymes produced in the body needed for proper digestion. The team discovered that the proteins the fake meat were much harder to breakdown, and were less water-soluble compared to the real thing.

It showed a higher hardness but a lower degree of texturization than the chicken breast.

Campanella added

Study Finds wrote, ‘After simulating digestion by human intestinal cells, soluble peptides in the meat alternative had a higher molecular weight and repelled water, meaning they were less absorbable. Meat provides all of the essential amino acids our body needs. Animal products are the highest-quality source of proteins.’

The amino acid composition showed fewer essential and non-essential amino acids in the meat alternative than the chicken breast.

Campanella noted

Improvement of the nutritional value of proteins could be fulfilled through formulation or production conditions. Future research centered on the comparison of protein bioavailability of meat alternatives and meat using laboratory experiments will be helpful to gather complementary information on the nutritional relevance. How does this change with the addition of plant oil and flavor compounds will also be worth exploring in future studies.

The researchers concluded

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

1 Timothy 4:1-3

Only the King James Bible – that ‘dusty old and antiquated book’ – prophesized this absurd attack on meats would happen. The hypocrisy of this movement is off the charts. Vegan diets are not healthy and sustainable long-term to begin with, but then these fake meats are the pinnacle of insanity; as these mad scientists spend ridiculous amounts of money to process these foods (while further destroying and polluting the environment); and having to artificially add all kinds of synthetic vitamins to market them as nutritious – which are far worse than most processed and conventional meats.

The WinePress has reported on this prophecy a LOT, and you can bet the farm that it WILL only radically increase, especially with the next plandemic in the works. Howbeit, I have noted that these plant-based and lab-grown cell cultures are just stepping stones: I firmly believe the end goal will be normalized cannibalism, as a means of “sustainability” and lowering the “carbon footprint.”

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Being disabled and not able to work for a living, I cannot afford most organic foods nor can I raise a large garden with the way my back locks up constantly. Even so, there’s a limit to what I’ll tolerate and plant meat is one such thing I’ll never tolerate.

One thing that almost always stands out is that a lot of the ads for plant biased synthetic meat products is how they like to taunt the viewer. For the record, I’m not sissified that I’ll like the plant meat products, I just don’t trust what’s put in them. Especially covertly.
