The fears of war in Ukraine are reaching a new all-time high, with media sounding the alarm that an imminent Russian invasion is guaranteed by tomorrow, February 16th.
Will there be? The WinePress says no: it’s hype to coverup for under the table deals, perhaps an arms deal.
On February 2nd, The WP reported what actual Ukrainians and Russians who lived on the border thought of this, and almost all those interviewed thought it comical, saw it as gossip, vain provocation, some sort of business deal; and the Ukrainians were going on with their daily lives.
Even the Ukrainian president told everyone to hold their horses.
More Thoughts
It’s not just Ukrainians who are ignoring the threats, but Russians as well.
One man, a.k.a “Survival Russia,” sees this as bogus. He used to have affiliation with NATO, so he understands how they operate.
He calls this a U.S.-NATO construct, that has no real weight to it. According to him, the Russian people have no interest or desire to invade the Ukraine.
Addressing the imagery and hoopla surrounding the Russian troops at the border, along with medical tents and other supplies, he also points out that troops have been sent to Belarus, but for a full-scale war to be conducted, not only would way more troops be need, the seemingly endless logistics-laundry list is huge.
He also addresses and reminds readers that the United States has never been the most honest when it comes to warning about war, such as the case with President Bush’s “weapons of mass destruction” that soon turned out to be a massive hoax.
Survival Russia believes some of this conflict stems from a dispute surrounding a new pipeline called “Nord Stream 2.” This pipeline supplies natural gas to Europe, specifically in Germany. This pipeline runs directly through the Ukraine. It was completed in September of last year, but was not yet activated for another 6 months the people were told.
Survival Russia points out that the U.S. does not like this, as this would allow for Europe to be more dependent on Russia, and not their European allies. Moreover, the American fuel company Shell has some levels of involvement with this too.
And, like noted before by The WinePress, Survival Russia points to the Ukrainian President’s words, that the Western media has basically created a war though there is none to speak of.
In a pinned comment on his video, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche wrote,
I feel sorry for the patriotic Ukrainians. They actually believe that NATO and, behind it, the USA would help them. Let me tell you Ukrainians, you are epically wrong. I have been living in the NATO country Germany for more than 60 years and I know the politics of the USA and NATO better than you naive (sorry!) Ukrainians.
The US is sacrificing Ukraine in cold blood, solely to weaken Russia by going to war against Ukraine. When Ukraine has played its part and is down, the US will throw you away like a bag of garbage. You are the pawns on the chessboard that are sacrificed to weaken the US opponent Russia. NATO and the US bring you death and ruin by pushing Ukraine into a completely senseless war against Russia. In the end, only the NATO countries will benefit.
Acting President, Literally
But that sentiment from the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is now differing, and has now changed his tune. Now he says by Wednesday will be the most likely date of the invasion.
In response, he told Ukrainians to pour into the streets, and sing the Ukrainian national anthem in solidarity and a shew of defiance.
However, political commentator Hugo Talks points out an interesting tidbit of truth: Zelensky is a literal actor, who starred in his own show of how he is President, years before it actually came to pass.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
[6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. [7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.Matthew 24:6-8
I will publicly state there will be NO war to speak of. I could be wrong, and if I am, I will correct myself. But, I think this is pure hoopla and games, as a masquerade for some major under the table business deal. Perhaps over the natural gas, arms deal, or something.
I think the media will keep making up stories to keep this going. War is a MASSIVE money maker: that’s why the U.S. loves it. Therefore, I think the hype the media generates is enough to cause the markets to not keel over as quickly. Lord only knows.
Either way, I see this as a joke.
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
