More police forces around the country are refusing to take a Covid vaccine, which may lead to their termination.
Citing local reports, the New York Post says that at least 403 officers – roughly 40% of the 1,000-person force – for not getting vaccinated by the October 18th deadline in Seattle, Washigton.
The environment has been pretty toxic and negative. Not just from this whole mandate, but prior to that as well. I’m not sure this would be a good place for me to work long-term for my mental health. It has been very stressful.

Fox News 13 reported that 292 officers provided have not provided some sort of proof of vaccination by the 6th. Another 111 police troops are still awaiting exemption results, Sgt. Randy Huserik explained.
We value each of you, and do not want to lose you as employees. But the people that count on you the most are the ones that need you to get vaccinated.
Mayor Jenny Durkan said via email, defending the vax mandate for state employees.
The Post notes that the Seattle Police Department already has been struggling with slimmer numbers after their funding was cut since riots related to Black Lives Matter.

One of the things I have noted in this possible system strain or collapse in America – presuming massive numbers of people begin to die this winter – will be dependent upon how many healthcare workers, and police and military forces get vaccinated. If more and more police are refusing to get vaccinated – not just in Washington, but in many other states too – this could lead to a major strain on the system. Moreover, more crime will hit the streets immediately.
Therefore, prepare accordingly. Get some weapons for defense or increase your supply.
