The Dutch government is discussing potential measures to force farmers to sell emissions rights, or even modify farmer’s property rights to force animal numbers to decline.

The European Union’s largest exporter of meat, the Netherlands, is considering plans to slash their national livestock by 30% to reduce nitrogen runoffs and emissions.

The Guardian reported that the Dutch government is discussing potential measures to force farmers to sell emissions rights, or even modify farmer’s property rights to force animal numbers to decline.

Bram van Liere of Friends of the Earth said these proposals are “a step in the right direction,” and their group “would do more on buying out farmers and helping them transition to sustainable agriculture.”

Wytse Sonnema of the Dutch Agricultural and Horticultural Organization believes this would be a “land grab” for the government.

Expropriation takes five to seven years before you have results […] We don’t have this time.

AgFunder News writes, “Agriculture minister Carola Schouten confirmed that forced sales of emissions rights or land would be a last resort, but said some emitters “cannot carry on [as they are] so we must ensure that we have the rules that are necessary.”’

This comes at a time when people such as Bill Gates are continuing to buy up more and more farmland in the United States as well.

The Netherlands has been making great strides to cut their nitrogen emissions – such as lowering motorway speed limits and suspending large commercial building projects – since 2019, when the court ruled that the nation was breaking EU law by not doing enough to reduce emissions.

AgFunder News explains that livestock emit nitrogen as ammonia, a chemical byproduct produced in the animal’s livestock refuse and urine.

The Dutch nation is home to over 100 million cattle, swine, and chickens.

The WinePress has noted many major leaps that the world governments are working together to greatly reshape the global food system and farming practices – such as the World Health Organization (WHO) putting together a panel to better mitigate farms to prevent pandemics and disease outbreaks; or other nations teaming up pledging to alter the world food systems, under the headship of the Vatican.

Moreover, The WP reported in April that Oregon has proposed a bill that would outright ban slaughtering livestock all together.

Proposed Law In Oregon Would Ban Breeding And Slaughtering Livestock

The WP has noted in many other instances that these moves by the Dutch government, and other nations, are quietly fulfilling the goals of the World Economic Forum’s Agenda 2030, and Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

The masses are so blissfully unaware of where their food comes from, and so now with more moves like this that I expect will get passed, the price of meat will only continue to inflate higher – paving the way for a greater push and acceptance for the fake meats, which that “dusty, old, “archaic” KING JAMES Bible accurately said was going to happen.

[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

1 Timothy 4:1-5

The official command has not been given to restrict our diets of meat, but that time is looming on the horizon.

This is why I also advocate that readers do what they can to position themselves to be interdependent for your food and water, and not the grocery stores and delivery systems. It is easier said then done, but that is what you should try to aim for – not just meats, but other crops too.

[23] Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. [24] For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? [25] The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered. [26] The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field. [27] And thou shalt have goats’ milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens.

Proverbs 27:23-27

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
