The following report is from the Trends Journal:
As we reported in our 22 September issue, the anti-lockdown message of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the head of Madrid’s regional government, had begun to resonate with Spaniards.
Díaz Ayuso, a member of the country’s Popular Party, said in September that the lockdowns spell economic disaster:
We have to avoid at all costs a state of alert and above all confining people to their homes. A state of alert and confining people are an economic disaster.
Her message served her movement well – it won her a landslide victory in the Madrid regional election last Tuesday, which resulted in her party more than doubling its seat count, taking more seats than the three left-wing parties combined. The report said she fell just shy of an absolute majority.
As we had reported, Ms. Ayuso’s campaign slogan was one word: FREEDOM.
Madrid is freedom—and they don’t understand our way of living,” she told supporters. She told the Financial Times she experienced explosive support from “every social class, from every corner of society, in favor of freedom, in response to such a difficult time.”
I’m not going to let my guard down for a single minute. Now we’ll see what surprises [the central government] has in store for us after the election and will carry on doing whatever we need to by acting as a counterweight and opposition force.
The paper pointed out that Díaz Ayuso was congratulated by Italy’s Matteo Salvini, the head of the League party. He called her a woman of “common sense and courage who has combined protection of health, right to work, and freedom.”
Lluís Orriols, a professor of politics at the Carlos III University in Madrid, told The New York Times that “maintaining Madrid open and economically active was something visible to all, while demonstrating that lockdown measures really help keep people healthy is something harder to do.”
Pablo Casado, her party’s leader, told the FT,
Today, freedom has won in Madrid; tomorrow it will win in all of Spain.
TREND FORECAST: While the election results were briefly reported in the mainstream press, the significance of what Ms. Díaz Ayuso’s campaign theme represented was mentioned but brushed aside.
In our analysis of the series of anti-lockdown protests that have swept across western nations, “FREEDOM” is the one word that rings with all of them.
While there are large masses that march off to the dictates of those who rule them, so, too, are the masses who believe in who they are and will not succumb to tyranny and injustice.
As the Madrid election proves, in their hearts and in their souls, a majority of “We the People” want Freedom. Thus, we forecast that FREEDOM will be a primary political platform in current and future elections.
TRENDPOST: As we reported in our 23 February article, “YOUTH REVOLUTION 2021: PROTESTS RAGE IN BARCELONA,” Spain’s economy shrank by 11 percent last year, according to the National Statistics Institute, which El País reported is the country’s biggest contraction since the late 1930s.
The youth in Spain have realized – and proved at the polls – that they do not have a future under the current conditions in the country and, like in other countries, they have lashed out against the status quo.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
If you are a Spaniard, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. On the surface level this sounds good, but I wonder if this is just more political propaganda to win votes.
I agree with the Trends Journal’s forecast that “freedom” will be the new campaign slogan to run on. It has begun to occur in America in certain aspects, but as The WinePress has been doing, we have been pointing out the hypocrisy of the many of leaders who are acting like heroes for lifting their draconian restrictions that should have never been in place from day one.

But at the end of the day, true and everlasting freedom comes from one man, and that man is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the only wise God our Saviour (Jude 25).
[31] Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. [33] They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? [34] Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. [35] And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. [36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.John 8:31-36

It’s propaganda, a ridiculous theater… Casado just recently told the president that him removing the national “emergency state” was “irresponsible” because the media is already blaming the citizens for “getting out too much” and threatening with the “fifth wave”. Now it is left to the regional governments to dictate whatever they want, chaos will ensue. Ayuso and the Popular Party are whited sepulchers like the rest, they don’t mean it, no politician ever means what they say, it’s just smooth talk to soothe the stupid voters (not that virtue signaling is the national sport, no). And in the end, right or left, up or down, they all support masks, vaccines and the globalist agenda. The left is communist, the right is Catholic, Mystery Babylon always wins anyway. Only the Lord can put an end to this.
Also, the Popular Party winning in Madrid was no surprise at all. it has won almost always there since there is demoncracy.
Thanks for your input. I figured you would know. I assumed as much, but I honestly did not know. I’d like to think there are a few “decent” politicians out there, but that’s just wishful thinking on my part I presume. “Freedom” (the illusion of it) will be pushed harder than ever now. Sickening.
Now that I think of it, I apologize if I have missed in the past replies on your part brother or anyone else for that matter, as there is no notification when someone replies. I just thought about checking back this here just in case.
Yeah, sadly, it’s all glitter over the same old poo, can we really ever expect true freedom from Satan’s ministers? Much like in the US, the political right here is pure deceit. I already put this verse in the article on vax persuasion teams, but hey, it never hurts:
Romans 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
And thank you =)
By the way, if it is of any interest to you, they just awarded Marina Abramovic the Princess of Asturias’ Prize of Arts 2021. She’s the one of the satanic art, you may have seen already some of her “work”.
I confirm. Ayuso is not only a Catholic, but also a Soros girl, as are all these new young political faces in Spain. She’s been sounding the drums of the “pandemic” scare since the beginning.
Her flavor of “freedom” is just offering an on-paper comparatively better deal than radical left straight-up communism.
ALL politicians in Spain have rallied behind the common cause of the plandemic, competing over the deceived masses perception of who has “better managed the pandemic”. The “powers that be” seem to have awarded Ayuso’s party and herself the prize, which wasn’t too hard given how ridiculous and heavy handed the national socialist government has acted since day one when they came into power last year.
It’s all a sham. “Freedom” my foot.
Well, I better stop before I give you a rundown on my opinions about every mainstream party in the country and their leaders.
