A WinePress contributor who wrote an interesting article covering some occultic and Roman Catholic influences in the “Legend of Zelda” franchise, has sent in another interesting piece connecting some dots with pop culture and the occult. This time it is Star Wars.
This report covers just a fraction of the endless references in Star Wars to religions, occultism, and other mythologies. As a lost man, I absolutely adored Star Wars. I knew all the movies and tv shows practically backwards and forwards. I spent hundreds of dollars on action figures and toys. I endlessly played the video games too.
The point is, I am well versed in what Star Wars is and what it is truly all about. Star Wars is its own religion in of itself. I would know, trust me.
I have long thought about taking the time and breaking down so much of the Star Wars universe and show many of the connections; but I simply just not have time to cover it all. There are plenty of secular videos produced by Star Wars fans that detailed so much of the Star Wars universe, that if these people wrote it all done in a book, it be as big as the Bible and then some.
But what is so interesting to note is that hundreds of millions of Christians worldwide love Star Wars too. In SW, there is no such thing as sin and righteousness: everything is based off of relativism. This is why when you try to witness to one of these professing Christians, they think you are some kind of freak, an “unknown evil” of sorts to them because – since sin, judgment, temperance, righteousness, hell, and so on are never once taught in these modern church buildings, they view “good and bad” from a relativistic perspective. Light side, dark side, in the middle, they are all wrong. I could easily make the argument that the dark side, the Sith, are more morally correct than the supposed good guys.
As I said, I am tempted to lecture about all these things, but I wish not to digress too much further.
Getting back on track, Star Wars is laden with occultism and hidden references in the Bible. For example, SW has plenty of subliminal messages. In the picture heading this article, the main characters from the seventh movie, “The Force Awakens,” all have their right eyes covered. This is a subliminal reference to the coming antichrist: Hollywood is packed to the brim with these specific examples.
Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
Zechariah 11:17 & Revelation 13:3
But without further ado, here is the study this brother sent to The WinePress.
The Power To Create: Playing God
Continuing the previous study about The Legend of Zelda and the occult references in mass-media entertainment, today we will be looking at another very interesting snippet from the multi-million worth franchise Star Wars.
Satan never sleeps: the world is being flooded and bombarded with his lies, and he tries to profit on every little thing he can to deceive the nations and turn them against the Holy Father, our Lord Jesus Christ. In recent times, the entertainment industry has been one of his bigger -if not his biggest- entry point to the minds of the masses: as we looked in Zelda, it would be wise not to underestimate his subtlety and craftiness, even if at a first glance these worldly idols seem “harmless”, “innocent” and “simply fictional” to the average lost soul.
It is no secret that Star Wars has been reaching millions upon millions of young children for decades now, implanting in their subconscious gnostic ideas and messages (and to those skeptics to the true reach of these “fantastic stories”, simply know that Jediism is an officially recognized, real-world religiouscult, founded by Daniel M. Jones).
The creator of the series, George Lucas, has stated in numerous occasions that he used Christianity and Eastern religions as the base for the Star Wars drama: the balance in a Yin-Yang sort of way between light -the Jedi- and darkness -the Sith- of an unspecified, all-permeating energy called the “Force”, idea straight out of New Age. Furthermore, we can clearly see very bizarre connections and twisted interpretations of the figure of our Lord Jesus Christ in Darth Vader, who even has a plate in his armor like unto a Levite priest’s ephod with Hebrew letters (look it up!). It is surely no coincidence either that the very word “Jedi” so happens to be a shortened form of the name Nathan the prophet gave Solomon, “Jedidiah” (2 Samuel 12:25).
We could go on hunting for details like those, but I would like to focus on one of the most famous scenes from the prequel trilogy, which has even become a widely known meme. In the third chapter of the saga, Revenge of the Sith, the main character Anakin Skywalker, who would later become Darth Vader, meets with the Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who is also later revealed to be Darth Sidious, the evil tyrannical Emperor from the original trilogy. The movie revolves around Palpatine trying to sway Anakin to forsake the Jedi order (the “good guys”) to join him in the dark side (the “bad guys”), which he eventually does.
In order to do this, in this particular scene Palpatine tells Anakin a story about his former master, Darth Plagueis, who could “keep people from dying” and whom he betrayed and killed, tempting Anakin in his despair as he had been having troubling visions of his wife dead. Now, let’s take a close look at the dialogue, and with the Scriptures in hand, we will uncover a cunning, blasphemous and warped picture of the Most High God and the gospel, hidden in plain sight for all kiddies to enjoy and learn from. We soon find that Darth Plagueis is a figure of God, Jesus Christ, and Palpatine is a figure of Judas Iscariot, but pay attention to how Satan turns the tables. And let me tell you, dear reader, that If you still don’t see the dangers and yet defend worldly entertainment such as this as a professing “Christian”, may the Lord rebuke you, and know that He will spue you out if you don’t truly repent from your wickedness (Revelation 3:14-19).
If you are unfamiliar with it, you can watch the scene clip online to couple it up with the study if you want, although it is not necessary.
Supreme Chancellor: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?
So straight away, the tone is established: we are about to be told a “tragedy”, something sad and serious that happened.
Anakin Skywalker: No.
Supreme Chancellor: I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend.
Ok, now we know that this particular story is some kind of “hidden knowledge” pertaining to the “Sith” that the other side, the “Jedi”, would not tell because it would hurt their interests. Hm. We of the church of the Living God know that Jesus Christ is the Messiah of the Jews, but they rejected Him and they would not accept his death on the cross, his… “tragedy” perhaps? Jedi, Jews, Jedidiah, Solomon? Notice also how he calls it a “legend”, well, truth be told, we today haven’t seen the Lord crucified and then resurrected, we only have the record in the Scriptures and our faith in Him to know that it was indeed what happened. I hope you’re starting to see it, but now it is when it gets messed up:
Supreme Chancellor: Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying.
Anakin Skywalker: He could actually save people from death?
We are now told who is this Darth Plagueis: he was a dark lord who could create life and keep the ones he cared about from dying. Wait, what?
[9] Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? [10] In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.[21] Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. [22] But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. [23] Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. [24] Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. [25] Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?Job 12:9-10 & John 11:21-26
Only God can create life and give life eternal, but we are told that this is the ability of a “dark lord”? See how the story is twisted in such a way to manipulate the viewer’s mind? Hellywood adores doing this, we will refer to a couple of other examples at the end.
Supreme Chancellor: The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
Also in Palpatine’s previous line, notice how this ability to create and give life is not just something inherent and unique to Darth Plagueis (who we just proved is a distorted figure of God), but it is an acquirable knowledge that can and will save you, in other words, Gnosticism. It is a “pathway” of enlightenment you can choose; those are not God’s unique abilities, “you can be a god too”!
[4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: [5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.Genesis 3:4-5
Huh. And we’re the conspiracy nuts? But wait, there’s more.
Anakin Skywalker: What happened to him?
Supreme Chancellor: He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did.
Boy, if this doesn’t sound straight out of Satan’s mouth! “God is just a big bad meanie! He won’t let you eat of this tree because he’s afraid you will become gods like Him! He’s only afraid of losing his power!”. What would be funny if it weren’t so sad is that the average Joe doesn’t and can’t see this in front of his very eyes! Mankind has not suddenly become foolish last year with the pandemic show, it has been on serious decline for many decades now. What we are living today is just the icing on the cake of ignorance.
Supreme Chancellor: Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It’s ironic, he could save others from death, but not himself.
[70] Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? [71] He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.[47] And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. [48] Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. [49] And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. [50] And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. [29] And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, [30] Save thyself, and come down from the cross. [31] Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.John 6:70-71; Matthew 26:47-50; Mark 15:29-31
Script straight out of the Scriptures. Again, it is so painfully obvious once the Lord guides you through the truth. Really, nobody needs to be a seminar theologian to figure this stuff out… The guidance of the Holy Ghost and basic knowledge in the Scriptures is more than enough. That nobody even batted an eye while they were -and still are- being fed all this trash only further proves how bad the world’s spiritual devastation truly is.
Anakin Skywalker: Is it possible to learn this power?
Supreme Chancellor: Not from a Jedi.
And finally, ending the dialogue with another push for Gnosticism. So, in the end, not only this scene bashes God in the figure of this Darth Plagueis, but signifies the victory of Judas Iscariot and Satan over Him in the figure of Palpatine and how he succeeded in taking the place of his former “master”. Major, major blasphemies right here. And they have reached the minds of millions… The world is not as bad as it is for nothing, you know.
As we stated above, this is not the first time Hellywood does this by far. You have to understand that every second of a major blockbuster is accounted for to the smallest pixel, how much more the script! To wrap things up, notice how most of their dramas focus on an extremely powerful male villain who is finally defeated by a group of rebels. In the very Star Wars, Palpatine later becomes the Emperor, who is confronted by the “Rebels”. In the Marvel universe, Thanos was presented as the ultimate menace, an “alien god” whose goal was to bring judgement to the whole universe by halving its population exactly by half: in the end he is beaten by a bunch of antichrists with “flashy superpowers”. In the “Hunger Games”, President Snow is presented as this “almighty” and tyrannical ruler whose office is totally white and sits on a white throne and is opposed by a girl with a bow (have you ever read the book of Revelation??). In Harry Potter, Voldemort is a man who achieved virtual immortality through witchcraft and knowledge. And the list goes on and on: anything to downplay the Lord Jesus Christ, his sacrifice on the cross and true salvation which comes from repenting sincerely before Him and putting your trust in Him and not in yourself.
In any case, beware of all this stuff, and specially don’t let your children entertain themselves with this garbage.
All glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for ever and ever. Amen.

Awesome, thank you! =D
I was never a fan of Star Wars. I’ve only seen The Force Awakens and Rogue One, yes I’ll confess. I wasn’t that interested in it. That’s a blessing that I’m not into Star Wars. It’s new age and the coming antichrist new world order in disguise.
