The third richest man in the world said in a news interview that all rich nations should make the switch to 100% synthetic beef in order to significantly sway greenhouse-gas emissions.

According to Gates, the U.S. switching to plant-based meats similar to those of Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat will be “required” in order to save the planet.

As for scale today, they don’t represent 1% of the meat in the world, but they’re on their way.

And Breakthrough Energy [Investment – who Gates is chairman of,] has four different investments in this space for making the ingredients very efficiently. So yeah, this is the one area where my optimism five years ago would have made this, steel, and cement the three hardest.

Now I’ve said I can actually see a path. But you’re right that saying to people, ‘You can’t have cows anymore’—talk about a politically unpopular approach to things.

Bill Gates

Gates noted that poorer nations such as the ones in Africa will not be able to fully transition to the synthetic meats, but,

We’ll have to use animal genetics to dramatically raise the amount of beef per emissions for them.

So no, I don’t think the poorest 80 countries will be eating synthetic meat. I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time. Eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the [behavior of] people or use regulation to totally shift the demand.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

1 Timothy 4:1-5

We have been reporting on how this is the wave of the future. This is the future goal of Agenda 2030, and companies such as Impossible Foods and others like KFC or the Israeli-based company looking to launch its lab-grown steaks.

And, just like the verse say, it is very hypocritical to have a population to stop eating meat only to go and eat a manufactured meat. Plus, what Gates and the other corporations and mad scientists won’t tell you, is what about all the waste and pollution this will cause?

This is Bible prophecy being fulfilled and will continue to grow.

  • Is this an example of the “Forbidding to marry” from 1 Timothy 4:3 KJV in Executive Order 202.20 by NY Governor Andrew Cuomo (Fordham University)?

“Section 13 of the Domestic Relations Law, to the extent necessary to permit those persons to whom marriage licenses were issued but shall expire within the period of time that New York State residents are to maintain distance between each other, to waive the 60 days required to obtain a marriage license during the period of time that there exists a declared emergency in New York State; and Section 15 of the Domestic Relations Law, to the extent necessary to permit those persons who were unable to marry within the time frame issued on the marriage license, waive the fees necessary to obtain a second marriage license, if necessary, mirroring the original marriage license that was obtained during the period of time a declared emergency existed in New York State.”
