The Black Horse Of Revelation

As I was posting my commentary on a recent report about Bill Gates’ new purchases of farmland, I provided scripture that I thought was relatable to the situation and where it might be headed. It was Revelation 6:5-6 describing the black colored horse of “the four horsemen.”

[5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. [6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Revelation 6:5-6

This is one of those passages in the book of Revelation where many have never quite adequately commented on. The general consensus is to say that it is describing famine and poverty; and I certainly agree with that, but the exposition usually does not go all that much farther.

After meditating on the word of God last night about this passage, and doing some cross-referencing, and considering all that has been happening in the world today, I think I have a good grasp on what is being described in this passage. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section, and please share any additional information that may corroborate and refute something I say.

Several days ago at the time of this posting, Bryan Denlinger of King James Video Ministries made a video describing how the Vatican (Mystery Babylon of Revelation 17 and 18) uses two political/economic systems to control the masses: communism and fascism. If you have not seen that video, I suggest you give it a look.

Based off the great points that were raised in this video, and combining what The WinePress has been reporting on, I believe that the black horse of Revelation is describing both communism and fascists systems and philosophies being used in unison.

Former Jesuit priest Alberto Rivera, gives his personal commentary on the black horse in “Four Horsemen,” published by Chick Publications.

Here is what he has to say about it:

“The rider of this horse reveals a pair of balances. One scale shows his awesome power over the economy of the world to control food production.

“His other scale shows he administers laws both national and international, to protect the production of oil and the liquor industries of the earth. In essence, this rider controls the world’s economy.

“His color is black, the color of the Jesuit order which seeks to dominate the world economy for the antichrist through the following front organization:

• The Illuminati
• The Club of Rome
• The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)
• The Opus Dei
• International Bankers
• The Masons
• The Mafia (criminal arm of the Vatican)
• New Age Movement, etc

The Catholic Church is the biggest financial power, wealth accumulator and property owner in existence. She is a greater possessor of material riches than any other single institution, corporation, bank, giant trust, government or state of the whole globe. The pope, as the visible ruler of this immense amassment of wealth, is consequently the richest individual in the twentieth century. No one can realistically assess how much he is worth in terms of billions of dollars.

“The rider on the black horse also holds the balance of law in his hands to control, manipulate and legally destroy all opposition.

“His final target is Protestant America.”

I agree with most of what Rivera believed concerning this passage, though I personally do not think America will even be around during the time of Jacob’s trouble, “the tribulation,” simply based off what is going on right now in the world, and how the Bible never gives a single reference to a great western power in the end times. However, I do believe that the Jesuits controlling and manipulating the world economic and food systems are definitely accurate.

In the year of 2021, there are a lot of deep spiritual truths that have are finally making more sense as time goes on. Things that were an absolute enigma just a few years ago, now make a lot more sense. This is what the Bible prophesized what would occur; so this is why I do believe Rivera is only partially right here.

[4] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? [9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. [10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

The Scriptures

So let me provide some of the scriptures that the Lord showed me, and I will give my commentary on what I believe is being described in Revelation 6:5-6.

The first thing to look at is the balances the rider of the black horse is holding.

In the Bible times, and prior to things becoming digitized, things were measured in balances: most often food.

Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.

Proverbs 20:23

There is an old phrase that is not used as much anymore, but it fits perfectly with Proverbs 20:23. It is what is known as the “butcher’s finger,” or “thumb on the scale.” When you go to the market to get meat, the butcher charges by the pound. The idiom here is referring to when the butcher will sometimes stealthily place his finger on the scale to increase the weight to increase his wages. This is a false balance.

Comparing it to Revelation 6:5-6, the two items being weighed on the scale is wheat and barley. Wheat and barley is mentioned all throughout the scriptures, and are widely used grains today.

Using some of todays prices (for the sake of discussion), let us look at the comparison of the two. I searched the prices of wheat and barley to make a comparison. I do apologize if the numbers are not 100% accurate, as this is meant only to be a demonstration, not a precise number.

Wheat bushels are weighed in at 60lbs and the price of it is $6.76. A barley bushel weighs 48lbs and is roughly $3 per bushel. Using these numbers in correlation with the passage in Revelation, (using bushel measurements) one measure of wheat is placed on one side of the scale, and three measures (bushels in this scenario) of barley is placed on the scale. This would mean that there are 144lbs of barley on the scale, coming at roughly $9 in total. This is obviously more than the wheat, in weight and price.

But Revelation 6:5-6 says both earn a penny. This is a false balance according Proverbs 20:23 and 11:1.

We know that a penny in American currency is worth only .01 of a dollar. That is very little. A penny in scripture, proverbially, means a small sum of money. Both the wheat and barley are being severely devalued.

So in Revelation 6 we see that the much heftier barley, which should be worth more money, is being valued at the same price as the wheat. This sounds an awful lot like communism, does it not? Everyone earns the same wages, everyone is equal. This first part of Revelation 6:6 greatly resembles a communistic setup.

Then we move onto the second part of the verse following the semicolon:

“and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” This seems to be, I suspect, where the added confusion comes in. The wheat and barley are both valued at the same price, and the price is incredibly low; whereas there seems to be some sort of protective measure surrounding the wine and oils.

Barley is commonly used in the beer making process, which does not take long to prepare, and to make – which the average ready time is about 45-60 days. Whereas with wine, it takes much more effort to prepare and make (especially in the old fashioned days), and the ready time takes years and years. It is all over the map, but to make a Pinot Noir, it takes at least 10 years.

Oil and wine in the Bible are also motioned together frequently. There are different passages that can be looked at, but oil and wine are often associated with wealth.

He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

Proverbs 21:17

It appears to me that the oil and wine is being spared because the ruling elite, the rich aristocrats, bankers, businessmen, celebrities, and so on; will save all the “good stuff” for themselves; while the poor get their measly, hyperinflated bread.

I believe the “oil and wine” represents the fascist aspect of Roman Catholicism and the black horse. The WinePress has been reporting on the current economic status of the world, especially America; and has repeated many times that what is being created is a two-tiered society of the rich and the poor: the haves and the have-nots. The infamous fascist, Benito Mussolini, is quoted as saying,

Fascism should more appropriately called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.

This is what has been occurring: the greatest wealth transfer the world has ever seen. We have shown this in many of our articles. The middle class was slowly piddling away for years, but 2020 has just all but killed them, and then the next couple years will finish them off – while the stock market goes up because the Fed’s keeping inflating it and buying up the debt, and the major corporations that control almost the entire market improve because the little guy got wrecked, which forces the peasants to buy from the corporations – which the state bails out and supports. Fascism.

Just the other day I reported on how major corporations are working with the government to distribute the vaccines, the same corporations that reaped large sums of money in 2020. Fascism to a ‘T’.

The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.

The rich and well-off get access to the “oil and wine” because they have the wealth to do so; but the little guy, the average Joe, the peasant, gets their “wheat and barley” at hyperinflated prices, and earns the same as the guy next to them.

This kind of epitomizes the phrase “Let Them Eat Cake.”

“Let them eat cake” is the traditional translation of the French phrase “Qu’ils mangent de la brioche“,-spoken in the 17th or 18th century by “a great princess” upon learning that the peasants had no bread. This phrase is more accurately translated as “Let them eat brioche“, as the original French phrase refers not to cake (gâteau) but brioche, a bread enriched with butter and eggs, considered a luxury food at the time. The quotation is taken to reflect either the princess’s frivolous disregard for the starving peasants or her poor understanding of their plight.

These are the communist and fascist systems at work. The fascists that work with the government and other corporations – who control, dominates, and dictates what happens. Then the socialist tier comes into play, where now that the corporations and state have preeminence, they then can suppress the masses and keep them from ever reaching the top tiers of power and wealth, by making everyone earn and work for the same amount of poverty. This is what is happening to America. Under Trump, the corporations were allowed to reach insane levels of wealth and power; and now under Biden, through accelerated money printing (more than Trump), wage and benefit increases – will cull off the rest of the middle class forcing them either to get into the well-off category, or the peasant category.

Getting back to Revelation 6:5-6, what I described is what is being discussed in this passage. Communism and Fascism being utilized at once, where there is mass poverty and famine; and a ruling elite class of wealth (Proverbs 20:23) – which is all controlled by the Vatican and Roman Catholic power groups and pawns.

Notice what the Bible has to say about Mystery Babylon:

[9] And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, [10] Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. [11] And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: [12] The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, [13] And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

Revelation 18:9-13

Well, would you look at that: the Vatican controlling the wine, oil, flour, and wheat. They control and manipulate these goods, confirming what Alberto Rivera was saying. The Vatican, Mystery Babylon, has created a false balance which is an abomination to the Lord. This is why the word of God says again,

And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
