When American forces were rapidly extradited from Afghanistan in 2021, U.S. armed forces were ordered to leave behind all their weapons and heavy machinery, and destroy some of it as well, and get out of there as the Taliban regained control of the country. After spending roughly $3 trillion and meddling in Afghanistan for 20 years to fight the Taliban, all that is left is more Taliban.
