While the Canadian protestors have been the center of attention these last few weeks, protests in Australia has gotten less of the spotlight.
Just recently Aussies, truckers and regular citizens, descended upon the capital of Canberra in a similar fashion to the Canadian truckers, demanding that their voices be heard and bring an end to the mandates.
Some estimate that the total number of people at the capital exceeded double the population of Canberra, which would be closing in on approximately 900,000 people at least. Australia mainstream media says it was more along the lines of 20,000 at the most, with some lowballing the numbers to just a few thousand.
Churches Raid Mid-Service
In the buildup to the protests, the Australian government and police – in keeping with their very strict mandates, policies, and overreach – were seen interrupting a service in a Roman Catholic temple, where police demanded that congregants show proof of vaccination and wearing of masks.
Avi Yemini, an Australian correspondent for Rebel News, spoke to Fox News over a week ago about the incident that happened in Western Australia. The Fox News host also said she was catholic, and expressed her distain for interrupting “something as sacred as the mass, the liturgy.”
Yemini explained that he feels that many in Australian have become used to the draconian overreach and have learned to accept it as their ‘new normal’ in a way. Yemini says that according to police, a local resident snitched to the authorities (or what Aussies refer to as “dobbing”).
The Fox News host asked if Pope Francis had anything to say, to which the Rebel News correspondent explained that Francis has remained silent, including the church building that was investigated by police.
Around this same time this broadcast was aired, protestors were already arriving in Canberra, religious groups and Roman Catholics included. One man in particular helped lead the charge. His name is Riccardo Bosi, a former Lieutenant Colonel for the Australian Defence Force, and the head of his own political party known as “Australian One.” He has his own catholic beliefs and connections, and has helped to spearhead some of the “patriot” movements in Australia.
On his YouTube channel, on February 5th, Bossi can be seen leading the protestors in the catholic “Lord’s Prayer.” He also recites portions of the American Constitution, and calls upon the protestors to help bring as many people as they know to Canberra.
Aussies Have Had Enough
On February 11th, hundreds of thousands of Australians marched on Canberra, bringing traffic to a standstill as protestors and truckers flooded the city.
However, not everything has been peaceful.
According to another Australian “patriot,” known as the “Aussie Cossack,” – though Russian in ethnicity – interviews one woman who had her truck’s window smashed and was pepper sprayed.
In another video uploaded to his channel, one person captured a clamorous woman hitting her vehicle, cursing, and was very anti-protest. The angry lady then rammed her car on the passenger side of other person’s vehicle, getting herself stuck in the process.
9 News in Sydney reports that three people were arrested on the 12th.
Nevertheless, at the most recent day of demonstrations, the Aussie Cossack could be seen delivering bottles of water and cans of beer to protestors at the encampments.
The Freedom Movement Grows
Published yesterday by LifeSite News author Monica Smet – a Roman Catholic health outlet – wrote about how the freedom movement is growing in Australia. Here are her thoughts:
On Saturday Australia’s capital city Canberra witnessed perhaps the largest political demonstration in the nation’s history. People came from all parts of the country to participate in the Canberra Convoy to protest against vaccine mandates and government oppression.
It was a day that made me very proud and thankful to be an Australian – and on the right side of history. It was extremely inspiring for me to see such a happy and hopeful crowd determined to get their rights back. It also is clear we are not just fighting for our rights; we are also celebrating our freedoms, the ones God gave us.
For two years, we have been tirelessly fighting for our basic human rights while experiencing the heavy hand of police and government tyranny. People have lost their jobs, been alienated from their friends and families, been assaulted, defamed, and even spat on. In Canberra on Saturday, it felt like a Christmas party where we could celebrate all our hard work. It’s far from over, but in that moment, there was a sense of accomplishment and unity that cannot be explained in words.
Most of us never imagined that we would be subjected to such a systematic and sustained attack on our democracy. This was an opportunity to celebrate our freedom and unity unashamedly. The true Australian soul was on display, ordinary people rising up against dictatorial leaders, so-called public servants, a completely corrupted media, a feckless medical fraternity, a failed judiciary and a co-opted scientific community.
The numbers at the Convoy were huge, perhaps more than double the population of Canberra and representing over 6 per cent of the total voting population. That was just the people who made the long journey to get there. There is a growing desire amongst Australians from all walks of life to get their rights and democratic freedoms back.
The disgraceful Australian media performed its now familiar job of lying and distorting. Newspaper reports said that there were only 10-20,000 people there; one outlet even said only 4,000. A glance at the aerial shots indicates how dishonest that is.
Great effort was made to exaggerate any conflict with police, which was all but non-existent. Asinine stories about dissension amongst members of the Convoy were confected to try to demonise the ordinary Australians protesting.
In another twist, one mainstream newspaper ran a story on Sunday, the day after, about a person who allegedly had left the ‘cult’ of the freedom movement, specifically naming me and my organisation. This was a clever inversion of the truth. It is the people who have been hypnotised by the governments into believing that it is necessary to take away their medical freedoms who are in the cult. It is they who are suffering from the mass formation psychosis. That the journalists were so devious as to turn what is happening upside down by accusing the freedom movement of the very thing they are guilty of shows the extent to which the media will go to push the Big Pharma, big government line. There will be no going back for those journalists when the truth inevitably comes out, as it will.
Asked about the Convoy, Prime Minister Scott Morrison continued to speak out of both sides of his mouth. He washed his hands of the whole thing, deceptively claiming that the Federal government was against mandates except for some workers in high-risk areas and putting all the blame on the State governments. It was a massive abrogation of responsibility from a leader who does not have the courage to lead. As Craig Kelly, head of the United Australia Party, pointed out, the Federal government could easily have passed a bill against vaccine mandates but chose to oppose one. History will not judge these moral failures well.
Australia has never seen anything like this in its political history. The sense of community – and relief that others share the same view – in the freedom movement will not fade away. In fact, it is growing stronger. This has come as a shock to the despots in Australia, who no doubt imagined that Australians, who tend to be laid back and relaxed, would get sick of protesting and return to meekly obeying their masters.
They were wrong. The movement is growing, and it has a heart – stemming from a commitment to the simple truth and the need to be afforded the most basic of human rights – that has never been seen in Australian politics. Many attendees believe this is our last chance to rescue the country. They are surely right.
I have complete faith in the Australian freedom family to do whatever it takes to take our beautiful country back and ensure a free future for our children and grandchildren. We are determined, focused, strong, and passionate. No one can stop the momentum we have built over the last two years. Like the Canadian truckers who have inspired freedom movements around the world, we will not stop until we get our freedoms restored.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Canadian truckers for starting this movement and inspiring the whole world to stand up taller than ever before. Your leadership will do down in history as a turning point for the global pushback against the new world order.
AUTHOR COMMENTARY
I have not said it a whole lot lately concerning these trucker protests, but one of the core underlying goals with these movements all over the world is to “ignite the right.” Moreover, it is to allow Roman Catholicism to regain more open power with the people. What is occurring in Australia currently exemplifies that. These protests are being led by these Catholics in order to help bring in that power again.
The protestants, evangelicals, many Baptists, and the such like, have been very liberal for sometime, and they are totally submissive to what the government tells them to do. But, the traditional “right wing” Catholics, along with apostolics, some Baptists, and a peppering of other groups, are finally standing up and pushing back hard.
The “prophetic” move going forward, as seen in the inserted report above about Catholics in Australia protesting, is to ignite the right. Progressivism and “wokeness” was used to destroy the nation’s religious stances by watering them down, becoming “tolerant,” inclusive, ecumenical, and Laodicean; thereby ruining the nations and cultures as a whole, politically, economically, and socially. Now, that must be taken away and “reformed.”
[9] The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. [10] Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.Ecclesiastes 1:9-10
History is repeating itself. These tactics are the same ones used when the Roman Catholic hierarchy rose from the ashes of the Roman Empire. Instead of killing the Christians in the first centuries, the Romans then did a bait & switch, and then made Christianity the religion of the state. Overnight, the Roman gods were then made into figures from the Bible. The state then brought in unsaved apologists and philosophers, and scribes, to then interpret the word of God and establish key doctrines that must be believed upon, while appeasing the pagan Romans. As time went on, the Catholics were quite inclusive and assimilated the surrounding nation’s paganism by also calling them Christians.
However, when the time was right, and they had the power structure in place, then they switched the rules on them, and said if you don’t obey our beliefs to a ‘T,’ then you are a “heretic,” and must be murdered. This is the same ploy being used now. It started after World War II where the nationalistic, Roman Catholic, fascist Nazis were defeated; leaving Rome’s other creation of atheistic communism in place. Marxist and socialist philosophy, in the broad sense, was then used to sucker everyone back in. Rome then released the II Vatican Council, where those deemed heretics were then rebranded “separated brethren.” But because of that, it has caused Roman Catholicism to sacrifice its own beliefs in the process to be more “inclusive” and ecumenical. This has enraged the real Roman Catholics, and 2020 was the spark that got the resistance and the new “Roman Catholic Reformation” started, as I call it.
[12] And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; [13] I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. [14] But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. [15] So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. [16] Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.Revelation 2:12-16
Beware: what you just read is the same tactic being employed, and Jesus himself is warning about it, and says he will judge you if you get suckered into this. This same thing happens with the next section dealing with the church at Thyatira, but used Jezebel as the spiritual application.
Understand that I am NOT against protesting and standing up for your rights: am I totally for that 100%, but as we are seeing playing out, these protests are by design and controlled. The ruling elite in Rome WANT to see this, so they can gain more political power again. Once they do, that same authoritarian rule will be even WORSE. This Agenda 2030 thing, where the masses will “own nothing and be happy,” will still continue, but be a “changing of the guard,” and that’s it.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

Thanks for covering this story, brother. I have to admit when I see the protests, and the speeches, I feel an urge in my flesh to join up with them. There’s a lot of things they say that I agree with. I even thought it would be a good chance to witness to people.
However, the Lord showed me it’s not a good idea. He reminded me of something Bryan had said in one of his sermons which was about the fleshly urge to yoke up with the protestors. I remember him referring to Joshua 7:11 where Achan sinned by taking from Jericho what he wasn’t supposed to (Joshua 7:21). I can say for certain, there’s definitely a lot of sin in that camp at Canberra to. I know Australians, and if there’s drinking, most likely that’s not the worst of it.
Moreover, I believe all those people still think they can win without God. I don’t think they’ll be receptive to the gospel until the Lord brings them down a few pegs.
Of course, I’m not against what they’re standing for but as you say brother, It’s a bait and switch operation, they’re simply controlled opposition.
[9] By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. [10] But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; [11] Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? [12] There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. [13] Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. (Job 35:9-13).
I agree. I see these clips over in Canada where the people are dancing to techno music and kids playing in bounce-houses. It’s more like a giant party than anything else. And yet people think that will solve something? How is that a protest? In a backwards sense, the government tyrants have a point because it’s not a TRUE protest: just an unregulated music festival.
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Exactly. I’ve seen a few live streams of the Ottawa protests, and it’s filled with Satan’s music and weirdly dressed lost people. Not a good place to go to.
