On January 29th, more devote Muslims known as Sufi Muslims, could be seen popping their eyes out of their heads during the beginning of their Urs festival.
Using knives, some of these Sufi Muslims in Ajmer, India, can be seen making their eyes pop out of their skulls. This is done in remembrance of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who established this denomination of Islam in the nation roughly 800 years ago.
At the time this article is written, the festival lasts a few more days.
The Daily Mail provides a succinct overview of what the festival of Urs entails:
The Urs festival is a religious procession through Ajmer, in the western Indian state of Rajasthan.
It lasts for six days and celebrates the death of saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
The saint is said to have established the Chishtiya Sufi order in India around eight centuries ago.
Pilgrims travel in their thousands to mark the festival.
They watch performers take part in acts of self-torture while marking the six-day event.
‘Sufis believe they are practising ihsan, the perfection of worship, as revealed by Angel Gabriel to Muhammad,’ the Daily Mail adds.
Here is a short description of some of what Sufi Muslims believe:
In Sufism, achieving a personal experience of God involves moving through successive stages of renunciation, purification, and insight. As a result, not only are Sufis ascetic – breaking ties to the material world through poverty, fasting, silence, or celibacy – but they also place great emphasis on devotional love of God, often through religious experiences or psychological states. This is often achieved through the repetition of God’s names (for example, God the merciful, God the great) or meditative breathing exercises.
Becoming absorbed in these exercises helps the Sufi practitioner to forget worldly attachments and focus more fully on God.

AUTHOR COMENTARY
[18] Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, [19] And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. [20] Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, [21] (Touch not; taste not; handle not; [22] Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? [23] Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.Colossians 2:18-23
The Sufi Muslims are a PRIME example of what Colossians 2:18-23 is talking about: people who put on a fake humility and worship what some angel (devil) tells them to do (ie. the angel Gabriel in Islam); which is garbage and are the wicked inner-machinations of their reprobate minds. Though, it should be noted a lot of these people are indeed devil-possessed. Moreover, they, just like a devote monastic Roman Catholic locked away in a convent and cathedral, do all these insane rituals and damage to their flesh, as an act for themselves and the masses, as putting down their flesh to show separation and suppressing their iniquity. Rather, it is just them worshipping and obeying their twisted minds and wills.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:3
Doing harm to your body for the sake of will worship and attention of others is clearly not charity: it is all for themselves in their vain religion, which “profiteth [them] nothing.”
[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

What a sick and twisted religion…
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Ephesians 5:29-30 KJV
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:16 KJV
That is so twisted and so bizarre! These religions and cults including “christian” ones, are heathen and satanic to the core. Avoid and reprove them!
Isn’t this what Robert breaker also taught about those who took the mark of the beast?
LOL, I think he did!
