“We have been working towards this day for several months now so it will be great to see how our customers react to the new technology.”

The popular grocery store chain Aldi has unveiled its first location without a single checkout, where customers pay via their phones and walk out without being checked by staff.

The grocery store setup in Greenwich, Southeast London, heavily surveils patrons with high-tech cameras while they shop, and then customers are charged when they leave.

Reported by Sky News, starting today, shoppers will need to download the Aldi Shop&Go app in order to enter the store. Customers will then pick up their items, and then leave when finished.

‘Customers must confirm their identity via the app, while those opting out will be age-verified in store,’ Sky News says.

The chain said that shoppers will also be able to purchase booze using facial-recognition technology to verify if the patron is 25 or above.

Today is the culmination of months of work, not least from the team here in Greenwich, and I’m looking forward to seeing how customers react to our trial.

This store utilises the very latest in retail technology.

We have been working towards this day for several months now so it will be great to see how our customers react to the new technology.

Once again, we are seeing the formation and normalization of the mark of the beast system coming to pass:

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. [18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Revelation 13:16-18

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • Aldi’s is fairly big here in Indiana, I can see this coming here before long. All it would take is to remove the registers and install the cameras and tracking system. My wife works at Meijer and they just removed more manned registers and installed another self checkout. They only have ten manned registers left and no more than 2-3 are ever open at a time. This is all a push towards the digital one world currency agenda. They are bringing this garbage in on the back of the “pandemic” in the “interest of continued public health” not touching possible “contaminated” currency, etc. which they will say is contributing to the spread. Of course these tech companies are making millions off of the lie as well. These devils will all have a place in the lake of fire, their damnation is just.

    • We have an Aldi in Mishawaka, and I have not been there in a while, but I recall last year seeing some more self-checkouts. Up north where I am at, we have Martins Supermarkets, and now they are displacing more of the highschool kids with these self-checkouts, too. They “coincidently” did it in 2020. And now the normal checkout lines have only gotten much longer.

      • I am surprised, I have yet to see an Aldi with self checkouts in my area. That being said they did build a new one just recently AFTER they closed one that was closer to my house and every time I have been there no more than half of the four registers has ever been manned. I don’t like these stupid self checkouts, I always have problems and have to wait for the attendant that is always slower than molasses. I can’t tell you how many times the issue is usually the machine thinking I was trying to steal something because I was moving too fast for the stupid camera so it locks out the terminal and I have to wait. They have planned this whole thing well. The plandemic incentivizes people to stay home and get paid for doing nothing. The companies save money on payroll so they can roll out automated registers, etc. more people lose their jobs because of it, then I go to the local walmart neighborhood market that has no manned checkouts and the line is backed up doubled on itself all the way back to the pharmacy on the far side of the store opposite the entrance. The fake shortage is getting on my nerves too, my wife went earlier to two stores looking for cabbage so I can make more sauerkraut, out of two stores she found one dinky 1.8lb cabbage, and the sad thing is cabbage is a winter crop.

  • I’m sad to hear this news since I rather like the store and noticed they did not jack up prices in 2020 like a lot of the other stores did. It’s only been in the last few months where there’s been a noticeable price hike at the Aldis in my area, mainly with the meat prices, which they may have no control over. They are well known for giving their employees a decent wage and allow the cashiers to sit down instead of being on their feet for hours at a time. Maybe it’s time to look into curbside delivery or at home delivery. I do not think the ones around here sell hard liquor either.

  • Revelation 21 (KJV)

1). And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea…

6). And he said unto me, It is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of water of life freely.
7). He that over cometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8). But the fearful and unbelieving…YIKES!!

    God Bless

  • Old lady talking. Back in my lost days, a connected friend suggested I take a job with Aldi, which was a new business just coming in to our area. That would be late ’80’s or early ’90’s, because I cut & fled in winter ’93-94′, went to truck-driving school knowing THAT would burn some bridges with my scholastic pals….lol! Still took some breaking to bring me to the end of myself & my ‘fixitis’ making bigger messes with every try, ….

Anyways, several years later my husband & I attended an American Baptist Church I now more wisely call ‘First Masonic’…we were naive. There was an influential family their who were all educators & sent their children to a Nazarene University. The son & his wife were convicted to homeschool & became friends of ours until Promise Keepers & Rick Warren’s programs swept through & us out. They got the spirit & continued with social justice. He started with a business major & worked from Aldi….maybe, 2000-ish but came back muttering about them being a bunch of communists & he couldn’t work like that; at which time he changed his major to education, in time with a masters in administration. (Talk about antichrist commie….but they thought they were affecting change by keeping their children out of the system & changing things from within, caught in the conservative/liberal folly, & not possible since the centralizing fix was in by then & it’s against God’s order anyways. After they got ‘spiritual’ & decided the Mess-age was a great translation, they also thought sending their teen daughters into the public school to be ‘salt and light’, & then on to psych & social work majors and further social justice work was kosher, too.)

Point: I’m not surprised Aldi is leading the globalist charge on this thing. Been woke & anti-American KJB Bill of Rights liberty from the get-go, pro-sodomite…..part of the corporatist end-run around true tolerant free society where no truth claim gets government protection from public challenge, & no religion by calling itself ‘science’ gets imposed on the people. Funny how Romanism, Islam and Hindu-Buddhism got the backdoor pass into our schools through debasing science from truth & minority culture honoring became bowing at their altars.
