As for health-promoting medications, the study finds these drugs mainly dampened a cell’s metabolic response to dieting — instead of fundamentally re-shaping cell function.

The following report is from Study Finds:

Good nutrition may be the best anti-aging drug you can find, a new study reveals. Researchers at the University of Sydney say when comparing the benefits of drugs which promote healthy aging and good metabolic health, their study finds nothing beats eating a healthy diet.

In a pre-clinical study involving mice, the team found consuming a healthy balance of calories and macronutrients had a greater impact on aging and metabolism than three drugs which doctors prescribe to treat diabetes and slow the aging process.

Anti-Aging Drugs Actually Get In The Way Of Healthy Eating

Scientists have been working hard to find medications which improve metabolic health and aging without requiring patients to change their diets. However, study authors say drugs designed to improve health often target the same biochemical pathways that the nutrients in your food help.

Diet is a powerful medicine. However, presently drugs are administered without consideration of whether and how they might interact with our diet composition – even when these drugs are designed to act in the same way, and on the same nutrient-signaling pathways as diet.

We discovered dietary composition had a far more powerful effect than drugs, which largely dampened responses to diet rather than reshaped them.

Given humans share essentially the same nutrient-signaling pathways as mice, the research suggests people would get better value from changing their diet to improve metabolic health rather than taking the drugs we studied

Senior author Professor Stephen Simpson in a university release.

A Balanced Diet Is Key For The Liver

Study authors examined the impact of both diet and medications on mice in 40 different combinations — changing the levels of protein, fat, carbohydrates, calories, and drug content in each test. Specifically, researchers looked at the impact of these three anti-aging drugs on the liver, which plays a key role in regulating metabolism in both humans and animals.

Simpson’s team says their findings are helping scientists better understand the link between what we eat and how we age. Results show calorie intake and the balance between protein, fats, and carbohydrates have a stronger impact on liver function than pharmaceuticals.

Moreover, protein and the total number of calories the mice consumed had a particularly powerful impact on the body’s metabolic pathways. They also had a strong effect on the processes which control the way cells function. For example, protein consumption displayed a strong connection to the activity of mitochondria — the energy-producing powerplants of the cells.

As for health-promoting medications, the study finds these drugs mainly dampened a cell’s metabolic response to dieting — instead of fundamentally re-shaping cell function.

The findings are published in the journal Cell Metabolism.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.

Proverbs 13:17

This further affirms that having a healthy lifestyle will ALWAYS out do synthetic drugs. But because of that, you will never find this study, and others like it, on mainstream news, television, athletics and sports circles; nor health officials and the strong majority of doctors talking about these things. These people do NOT want you to be healthy, rather, make a perpetual patient out of you.

[25] And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, [26] And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

Mark 5:25-26

And as noted in this study, you need to be eating a balanced diet of food groups. Making sure that your food and beverages are truly organic, non-gmo, non-artificial; you need get your fats, carbs, proteins, salts, fermented items, meats, fiber, herbs, spices, veggies, fruits, clean water, etc.

This is why so many of these popular fad diets (Keto, Carnivore, Paleo, Vegetarian, Fully Raw Vegan, etc.) are never efficient and complete. They may offer some benefits for fixing certain problems for a time, but it will create other imbalances, deficiencies, and problems down the road. One of these days I will do a report explaining why a lot of these diets are wrong and not healthy.

Always consult the true Physician’s medical book for your answers (and there are a LOT):

Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.

Proverbs 20:23
[3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

1 Timothy 4:3-5
[33] And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. [34] Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. [35] And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat. [36] Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.

Acts 27:33-36
[13] My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: [14] So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

Proverbs 24:13-14

Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.

1 Timothy 5:23
[14] He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; [15] And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart. [16] The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

Psalms 104:14-16

I am that bread of life.

  • I love the Scriptures you put in at the end of this report, and I look forward to you debunking diets like Keto and Paleo whenever you decide to do that, as I hear about that stuff ALL THE TIME online and I’ve been wondering about it. Keep it up brother .

    • As with the scripture I quoted, an unbalance of things is not sustainable. It really comes down to digestion, gut bacteria and acidity, fats, nutrient deficiencies. A lot of these diets all have benefits in the short time. but long term it will create problems. Veganism is a doctrine of devils for a reason.

      • Brother Jacob, just wondering if you’ve ever come across studies about how to cure gout with possibly diet and fasting? Seems like there’s not much out there about this disease, but many people I know have it. Thanks!

        • I am not sure about fasting, but I would imagine so if you enter into autophagy after extended periods of time.
However, look to increase Vitamin C by a lot (but get it naturally from Camu, Acerola, Rose Hips, organic Lemon, etc.) Increase B vitamins, especially B9 (Folic Acid), fish oils, Chromium. But be careful of B3. Also look into milk thistle, CoQ10.
High sugars, refined carbs, and inflammatory foods will cause gout. Even going on a carnivore diet can cause this over time.

          • Thank you for the information and your efforts in researching. Fasting, I’ve read after you’ve mentioned autophagy, rids our bodies of old, unwanted cell debris and junk to renew the body. Clearing out old proteins that cause cancer and other diseases. Amazing how the King James bible already taught this thousands of years ago.

  • Put this kind of info at a hospital or a bunch of doctors offices and watch those big pharma goons panic and bite their nails! Haha, that would be sweet!

You know something Jacob and readers, I’ve been around doctor’s offices and I have this strong sense of hopelessness there even though I’m not a patient, but you can just sense the majority of those patients, their lives are severely crippled and they won’t be alive much longer some of them.

Good diet including keto diet, vitamins, and herbology or natural holistic medicine all the way. Hospitals and clinics, avoid them like the plague!
