The following report is from Smart City World:
London, UK, has been named as “most intelligent and future-proof” city in a study which identifies the leading 50 smart cities globally based on how they are adopting new technologies to improve their sustainability and liveability.
The study released by tech parking company EasyPark began by assessing several thousand cities around the world and looked at those smart cities that are leading the way in implementing the use of new technologies.
Metropolitan Areas
Understanding that cities face different challenges depending on their population, the study was split into three size categories: metropolitan areas with more than three million inhabitants, between 600,000 and three million inhabitants, and between 50,000 and 600,000 inhabitants.
The result of the study reveals the top 50 highest ranking smart and future-proof cities worldwide in each category.
London ranks first in the largest city size category followed by US cities New York and San Francisco. Citizens in San Francisco were found to have adopted new technologies most widely of the cities in this size category.
Danish capital Copenhagen ranked highest in the 600,000 to three million people group of cities followed by Stockholm, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway.
Lund, Sweden, ranks as the most intelligent and future-proof city with a population of between 50,000- and 600,000 people, followed by Stavanger, Norway, and Espoo, Finland.
It is clear that some of the most technologically advanced cities around the world have already adopted innovative services and solutions to optimise traffic flow and ease mobility, to make the city more liveable
To establish how technologically advanced and sustainable a city is, researchers retrieved data from sources like the World Bank, the Economist, the International Monetary Fund and the Lancet.
Four key areas formed the basis for evaluating how innovative each location. These were:
- the digital life of each city was studied by assessing how widely technology has been adopted by the population, the government and within the healthcare sector. They also reviewed the success and reputation of technology educational institutions in each urban area
- mobility innovation – researchers looked at how innovative parking solutions are within each city, the overall traffic management system including public transport, and how clean transport was in the city
- business tech infrastructure – the level of business innovation, prevalence of epayments and quality of internet connectivity in each location was measured
- environmental sustainability was evaluated by analysing green energy usage, the number of green buildings, the waste management system and the overall climate change response and planning.
While metropolitan areas in Europe score well across the various size categories, the study shows that Scandinavian cities all rank particularly highly. Analysing urban areas with between 600,000- and three million inhabitants, half of the top 10 cities were in Scandinavia.
This was also the case for cities with between 50,000- and 600,000 inhabitants, where 90 per cent of the top 10 are also from these countries.
Many governments are stepping up their responses to climate change, and it is clear that many solutions begin in major cities before filtering out to the rest of the country.
While cities continue to expand and envelope more of their surrounding areas, mobility is taking on an increasingly important role in people’s day to day lives. Many of the highest scoring cities score well for high electric car usage and low CO2 emissions rates.
[Although] the world faces challenges relating to climate change, it is clear that some of the most technologically advanced cities around the world have already adopted innovative services and solutions to optimise traffic flow and ease mobility, to make the city more liveable.Johan Birgersson, CEO of EasyPark Group.

I am mentioning this report because it further demonstrates how far along these smart cities are coming, and where they are being built. That being said, I think America is more of an experiment to see what works and what does not. You can read more about this smart city stuff in some of the reports below. I also think these studies are a bit biased, as they do not take into account a lot of things that are transpiring in the Middle East, with cities such as Dubai.
[1] Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? [2] She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. [3] She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors. [4] Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man. [5] O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. [6] Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. [7] For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.Proverbs 8:1-7

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

This may be an unpopular opinion but I believe this article is wrong, why do I believe its wrong? Well look at the US for example. People are leaving NYC, Los Angeles , Chicago, and other cities that would certainly be future smart cities.
The vax mandates and expensive apartments and homes are also making people leave. Texas and Florida are banning mask and vaccine mandates and many Americans are going to those states and maybe even other southern states that are rejecting the mandates. We know that these governors are just as dirty as the politicians in the white house and worship satan just as much as they do. I believe the states that are rejecting the mandated will be a honeypot and will turn into smart cities because states like Florida and Texas for example will have an increased population while the “smart cities” like NYC and Los Angeles population is decreasing. Also the forced mandates nationwide is indirectly making people comply with the agenda 2030 plan.
Think about it.. they want more machines in the hospitals, less workers in retail, robot cops, no plane travel, and more and by 2030 most things will be operated by machines.
Even though I fully agree with leaving big cities and rejecting the vax because I did this personally as well, I also see the Hegelian Dialect with the left and right. While many will die when they take the vax, the people who reject the vax and mandates and go to states that ban these mandates and may be trapped in smart cities. Look at Florida with the gmo mosquitos or texas with the man made snow storm and man created power outage. I believe the states with the fewer mandates will have more of these events.
Only God can protect us and provide for us no matter where we are in the world but for the ones who are asleep and believe that the vax is bad BUT want to save their lives by moving to cities with little to no mandates will still end up losing their lives because they do not know Jesus Christ and won’t be aware of the honeypot that they got or may be trapped in.
