“The world is called to achieve net zero carbon emissions as soon as possible, with wealthier countries taking the lead in reducing their own emissions and in financing emission reductions from poorer nations.”

Yesterday Pope Francis and other faith leaders gathered in the Hall of Benediction at the Vatican, discussing and signing a declaration for countries to “achieve net zero carbon emissions as soon as possible.”

‘The summit brought together religious leaders and scientists ahead of the climate change conference in Glasgow, Scotland, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 12,’ explains the Catholic News Agency.

The world is called to achieve net zero carbon emissions as soon as possible, with wealthier countries taking the lead in reducing their own emissions and in financing emission reductions from poorer nations.

It is important that all governments adopt a trajectory that will limit the global average temperature rise to 1.5°C [2.7°F] above pre-industrial levels.

To achieve these goals of the [2016] Paris Agreement, the COP26 Summit should deliver ambitious short-term actions from all nations with differentiated responsibilities.

The declaration read, signed by over 40 religious leaders

The signed document was then presented to Italy’s foreign minister Luigi Di Maio, and Alok Sharma, president of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26)

We need scientists, with their academic authority, to amplify further their voices in the public debate, and faith leaders to use their moral leadership to make the case for action.

This appeal does just that, with immense clarity and power.

Forty faith leaders have come together, and working with scientists, have created a powerful call to action for the world.

Francis did not read his written statement, as he wanted to provide more time for the others to speak.

For Christians, openness to interdependence springs from the very mystery of the Triune God: “The human person grows more, matures more and is sanctified more to the extent that he or she enters into relationships, going out from themselves to live in communion with God, with others and with all creatures. In this way, they make their own that Trinitarian dynamism which God imprinted in them when they were created”.

Today’s meeting, which brings together many cultures and spiritualities in a spirit of fraternity, can only strengthen our realization that we are members of one human family. Each of us has his or her religious beliefs and spiritual traditions, but no cultural, political or social borders or barriers prevent us from standing together. To illumine and direct this openness, let us commit ourselves to a future shaped by interdependence and co-responsibility.

Openness to interdependence and sharingthe dynamism of love and a call to respect. These are, I believe, three interpretative keys that can shed light on our efforts to care for our common home. COP26 in Glasgow represents an urgent summons to provide effective responses to the unprecedented ecological crisis and the crisis of values that we are presently experiencing, and in this way to offer concrete hope to future generations. We want to accompany it with our commitment and our spiritual closeness.

Francis stated in his written pledge

Other religious leaders – which included those from Shi’a Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and other popular Eastern religions – stated in their joint appeal:

Scientists have warned us that there might be only one decade left to restore the planet.

We plead with the international community, gathered at COP26, to take speedy, responsible, and shared action to safeguard, restore and heal our wounded humanity and the home entrusted to our stewardship.

We appeal to everyone on this planet to join us on this common journey, knowing well that what we can achieve depends not only on opportunities and resources, but also on hope, courage, solidarity, and goodwill.

In an age fraught with division and despair, we look with hope and unity to the future. We seek to serve the people of the world, particularly the poor and the future generations, by encouraging a prophetic vision, a creative, respectful, and courageous action for the sake of the Earth, our common home.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

[5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. [15] And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. [18] And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Revelation 17:5, 15, 18

Once again, another example showing how the Vatican – Mystery Babylon – are the real culprits pushing forward these ridiculous initiatives to control the masses. You can read more about it in our report about Francis’ Laudato Si’ – which, by the way, Frankie is just the “front man:” he’s just the goober that is floated out to the masses. The real handlers are layers and layers of Jesuits that have infiltrated practically everything.

Agenda 2030: You’ll Own Nothing And Be Happy

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).

  • “Frankie”. Had to smile at that one.

    Revelation 18:2
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

“..the hold of every foul spirit”, you can almost feel that phrase making your skin crawl.

Can’t wait for this. Because of her, most of my family got the shot and more of them will. Please pray for my kin, and all deceived Catholic common people, which some are really looking for the Lord, but got deceived by her cunning.

But if they don’t choose to get saved, God’s will be done. Thanks.
