The investigation is looking into if Berejiklian breached public trust when she awarded grants to several community organisations in the NSW Riverina region between 2012 and 2018.

Gladys Berejiklian, Premier of New South Wales (NSW), Australia, announced that she is resigning from her position.

A watchdog group – Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) – announced that Berejiklian is the subject of an investigation involving insider corruption.

The investigation is looking into if ‘Berejiklian breached public trust when she awarded grants to several community organisations in the NSW Riverina region between 2012 and 2018,’ explains the Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC).

More specifically, the group will be investigating grant funding gifted to the Australian Clay Target Association and the Riverina Conservatorium of Music in Wagga Wagga.

Furthermore, the group will also be examining if there was a conflict with former Liberal MP, Daryl Maguire – whom she had a relationship with – with public duties and private interests. Maguire was the local member when these grants will given to the aforementioned associations, and Gladys was the treasurer.

‘The program also revealed Mr Maguire had written to Ms Berejiklian asking for her assistance to fund the project.’

As explained by ABC, two different options are on the table. The Government Whip could put into motion a secret ballot, where each party member votes for who they want elected. The second option is the different parties could come together a promote candidate without it going to a vote.

The means NSW could see a new Premier relatively quick if a decision is reached soon.

ABC lists a handful of candidates vying for the position, from the Treasurer, the Planning Minister, several other senior ministers, an Attorney General, and others.

The outlet notes that the Liberal party still has the strongest chance of seeing one of its own to be the replacement.

AUTHOR COMMENTARY

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

[5] There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: [6] Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place. [7] I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

Ecclesiastes 5:8, 10:5-7

A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.

Proverbs 17:23

I’m not there, but I do not buy the official narrative at all. I mean, the insanity of it all. The media reports that she is not stepping down and forced to resign because of her absolutely disgusting reign as the Australian Führer, but because of some under the table deal she made years ago. That is just how backwards-asinine this all is. And to be acerbic: who in their right mind would want to be in a relationship with here?!

Again, I’m not there, but it sounds like since Berejiklian has garnered so much global attention for her insane edicts, that the abominable government is looking to replace her with another one of their corrupt buddies, and made-up some silly scapegoat.

Her replacement will keep the foot on the gas pedal for tyrannical and unrighteous rule.

[7] Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? [8] Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? [9] For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? [10] Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. (1 Corinthians 9:7-10).
