Buckle Up For A New Wave Of Higher Inflation

Today the U.S. Labor Department released the latest round of jobless claims, and they are steadily creeping higher week-over-week.

Another 362,000 people have filed for first-time jobless claims. This equates to over three fully-packed University of Michigan football stadiums.

And while more and more jobs are continually lost each week – with not even so much as a mention, hardly, in the mainstream media – another thing that is exploding higher and getting worse is inflation.

The Trends Journal recently reported in two separate reports that the jobs that have been lost, have been lost: something that they have long forecast since 2020 and the first wave of lockdowns.

For the longest time the Federal Reserve and mainstream media across the board all attempted to assure the masses that inflation was only “transitory.” The WinePress, however, disagreed with those statements as soon as they were coming out earlier in the year.

Now Fed Chair President Jerome Powell is changing his forecast and statements. He still believes that it will eventually cool off, but is surging higher and longer then they had officially stated.

The current inflation spike is really a consequence of supply constraints meeting very strong demand. And that is all associated with the reopening of the economy, which is a process that will have a beginning, middle and an end. It’s very difficult to say how big the effects will be in the meantime or how long they last.

The Wall Street Journal reports, ‘He said the Fed doesn’t expect the current inflation spike to “lead to a new inflation regime, in which inflation remains high year after year.”’

Inflation of more goods and services are rising currently.

Dollar Tree has just recently announced that they will be increasing the shelf space with higher-priced items. Virtually the large majority of products at Dollar Tree are just a buck, though there are some items that cost $3 and $5 since 2019. But the company is going to add more $1.25 and $1.50 items, and other price ranges, to the shelves.

We recognize the need to make adjustments in the current economic environment. The pressure all of us are seeing on wages, freight and on our suppliers and cost increases.

Our products have lower price points than other retail importers and, as a result, our freight costs are a higher percentage of our gross merchandise margin.

Michael Witynski, chief executive of Dollar Tree, the WSJ reported.

And other goods unrelated to Dollar Tree are rising. ZeroHedge reported recently that cotton prices have risen the highest they have been in decade, leading to inflation of shirts, jeans, and other cotton-based products.

Nevertheless, the mainstream narrative still maintains that the economy is booming and greatly recovering, and that inflation is not to be of concern.

But Gregory Mannarino, of TreadersChoice.net and writer for the Trends Journal, is now sounding the alarm and warning in advance of an even bigger wave of inflation coming.

Expect A Second, Larger Wave Of Inflation To Hit

The current narrative coming directly from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is this, “The Current Spike in Inflation Is Transitory.” This supposed “inflation is transitory narrative” is being used as a tool to suppress the truth, and the truth is this. Not only is the current pace of inflation NOT transitory—but it is also about to get much worse. 

Economics 101 tells us this regarding the current environment. The Federal Reserve has been on a money creation binge, which has been unlike anything which has ever been seen in the history of the financial world, since the meltdown of ‘08. This mechanism has introduced a tsunami of dollars, most of which only exist in digital form, disbursed all around the world.

I have warned people for many years that there would be a time when all these extra dollars, in whatever form they exist, would eventually begin to chase the same or existing amount of goods—well we are seeing the opening act right now. Moreover, there is no way to stop it. 

Fed Chairman Powell also said that he is not concerned about the current pace of rising inflation because it is “not widespread,” in other words, he believes that inflation is contained.

Contained? Where have we heard that before?

How about when then Chairman of the Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke was talking about the housing bubble? Yes, Bernanke said then that the issue with subprime mortgage meltdown was also “contained.” Ben Bernanke’s “contained” played out to be totally false and led to a global financial meltdown—and public bailout of the banks.

Today more and more corporations are posting warnings about more inflation to come, and it is not contained. Several CEOs of Blue-Chip companies are coming right out and saying “inflation is not transitory;” it is going to be sustained and it is structural.

Once the floodgates of inflation have been opened, and they certainly are now, there is no way to stop it. 

There is a lot of talk about the Federal Reserve “tapering,” or cutting back on asset purchases—well this will have ZERO effect of slowing the pace of inflation. Theoretically the ONLY way in which the Fed today can even just slow the current pace of inflation would be to dramatically increase rates rapidly, and the effect of that would lead to a total meltdown of the stock market and a bursting of the current housing bubble. 

I expect that over the next several weeks the narrative coming from the mainstream media outlets will be this—inflation is slowing. But this will be a false narrative, meant to distract the general population from what is really going on.

This false narrative on inflation slowing or waning will then leave people vulnerable and unprepared for the next, larger wave of inflation which is coming. Unprepared and vulnerable—just as it is meant to do.

Nothing whatsoever of what we are seeing today is by accident and as I always say, “be ready for anything.”

These types of reports never do overly-well on The WinePress, which I have my opinions on the matter, but I do know there are a lot of people that do read them are informed as to what is going on.

Be much more frugal with your money, and continue to learn to be content with what you have, and less. If you have to minimize most parts of your lifestyle, do it. The broad masses cannot stop spending if their life depended on it, so inflation does not bother them. The biggest place you can save money is food. Cut your food bill down to essentials that are very cheap and nutritious. I have done some reports on that, such as sprouting and even fasting. Moreover, even meats such as beef and calf liver are VERY cheap, and EXTREMELY nutritious. Just be thinking about ways you can reduce your bills.
